The Delta Police Command said on Saturday that
it had discovered a “baby-production” factory in
Asaba, arrested the operator, and rescued eight
pregnant girls.
Spokesperson of the command, DSP Celestina
Kalu, said in a statement in Asaba that the baby-
making factory was discovered after detectives,
acting on a tip-off, swooped on the premises.
“On July 30, 2015, Police detectives from GRA
Division Asaba, while acting on a tip-off, raided a
suspected baby factory opposite the Federal
Radio Corporation, Asaba, and arrested its
operator, Mr. John Ihezun.
“Detectives also arrested two boys, one Prince
Chukwu and Obum Nwankwo, in the premises of
the baby factory,” Kalu said.
The command said it found eight pregnant girls
(names with-held).
The command said it had commenced
investigations into the matter, saying that any
person found to be involved, would be
prosecuted.

Sometimes I wish that God will bless my state (Imo) with a leader like him.
Since Mbakwe left power it has been from one thief to another.Even during the military era.While other MILAD are making progress in other states.The once that worked in Imo state was busy looting Imo treasury.
Peter really impressed me.From attracting foreign investment to Industrialization.Reconstruction of roads,Tackling of erosion problems in Okpoko and other many achievements.
While i was working in Onitsha,I watched how this man was piloting the affairs of Anambra.
One of the things that impressed me is that his state is one the states that receive the least allocation from the center.
We need more leaders like him.

For Imo state.If God can remember Anambra.He will remember us one day.

Mr. Obi lead Anambra with so much passion. The famous question he asked then which sometimes serves as an encouragment for me was.... Nkpor Junction and environs in Anambra state yesterday (26/7/2015) witnessed the dedication of the newly built St Anthony of padua catholic church nkpor by his grace most rev. bishop Valerian Maduka Okeke of Onitsha archdiocese, the church started on the 15th of feb 1987 as an out station of holy cross parish nkpor(that was the first mass which was celebrated on a hired first floor of a four storey building, but now owned by the church) and since then God has been faithful to the parish(in terms of spiritual, physical and financial growth), the main building of the church started on the september of 2011 by Rev.Fr Celestine Arinze Okafor, september was the month the former church building which was too small to contain the numerous faithfuls that troop the church on weekly and daily basis................

It was completed by Rev. Fr. Martin Obum Ikeagu, Now with smiles on their faces the parishioners of St Anthony of Padua Parish yesterday handed the church over to God...... their hardwork, patient, their trust in God and Gods love for them was brought to its fullness when his grace Bishop of Onitsha archdiocese Rev. Dr. Valerian M. Okeke declared the church officially dedicated....
