Tiger2020: that your charge time is some peoples SOT as in ehn..I've given up on the phone... I made up my mind not to buy all these transion phones until someone got this one for me...and it felt like the worst experience I've had.. It's meant to be a smartphone but I felt I was smarter than it |

genius43: Your Charging board may be bad. You can as well try to clean your USB port my main issue is how a 2GB RAM phone lags like it's a 512mb RAM phone...I get 1GB when I don't have any app running in recent app, when it gets to 1.5GB it becomes totally unusable.. I have to force reboot at times....I've been tempted to slam it various times but if I do, lol...e don be cos my phone would take time to arrive..that's why I'm so impatient |

genius43: Your Charging board may be bad. You can as well try to clean your USB port it's been that way since I got the phone.. Was 60% when I unboxed it..took about 3hrs to get to 100%.. I felt it's charging board issue..changed it twice and nothing has changed.. When I don't use it, it takes 4-5hrs, if I'm using it, it takes about 7hrs |

thormeydey: My order shipped 9th of this month and it is already at the sorting center in Lagos. Since it has already shipped, patience is key. lol..you have no idea how impatient I am...been using tecno spark 3 since I misplaced my phone...it's so slow..if messenger pops up it'll hang till it decides to get sense...sometimes call will come in and it won't show..time I use to charge is equivalent to how long it lasts. See my charging time below

Carnage4life: In the words of olayinkajnr “Shey if una no reply trolls una go die?” At this point I don’t think there is any need to give attention to some people who come to this thread with ulterior motives. I’m guilty of engaging sometimes too.
When you see someone type out a sentence like “Infinix is that brand that gives you all round satisfaction“ or tries to shit on the brand, just look away and ignore, obviously that’s how limited his worldview is and you can’t really blame his mentality. You start trading words with him and he drags you to his level. Even though at this point you can’t but feel pity for him and our Nigerian/African brothers who still think like this in 2020. The Indians who are tech savvy and embrace better chips, technology and phones don’t have two heads. Those guys don’t settle for less. Africa will get there one day hopefully and stop accepting sub par technology. Because at this point in 2020 it’s a shame that we’re a still a dumping ground for inferior products and our people still buy it blindly, only Africa! This can’t happen elsewhere.
Xiaomi is a superior and bigger brand, 4th biggest phone company in the world. The brand name, track record, software support, solid well built phones coupled with good performance says it all.
Anyway, attached is Q1 report from Omdia and Canalys. Just look at the names up there . A good product always shines and speaks for itself. Looks like the Redmi brand is doing so well globally . Cheers guys. I think the redmi note 8 series is really doing well..was an option for me tho at a point |

Sprintx24: Good morning guys,... So, I was just on my bed wondering and got struck by an idea that should have popped up long before now. Thank God for Google Chrome history which dates back to even 5 months, I was able to load the link to the first time I tracked my package after it was shipped on Jumia and luckily found the tracking number as well. Long stories short, my package is already in Nigeria but I discovered it was first handled at the sorting center upon arrival then passed through my pick up station and is now back at the same sorting center and will still be sent back to my pick up station. Is this normal? Attached is an image of the last tracking information.... bro how long has it been since you ordered.. I stay in Uyo just want to estimate how long mine will take |

hopefulLandlord: my experience with this phone however was very pleasant. I used it for almost four years mine was filled with ups and downs especially tecno..I'm using one presently cos someone bought it for me when my phone spoilt. The phone is a 2GB ram yet I can't run messenger and WhatsApp simultaneously without it hanging... For a minute or two even power button doesn't work at that time.. Takes 5hrs to full, takes maybe 7hrs or more to get full when being used. Phone gets to 1.5GB/2GB and becomes totally unusable. I can't wait for my mi9t to come...this jumia makes me check every hour. |

ityP: Fanboyism is everywhere sha. When a particular brand has met your needs over and over again, emotional attachment is formed. You may see imessage shits as insignificant, but that person who prefers iPhone 6 to RN8 may not. Transsion fanboys don't have high taste (they just want something basic) and transsion products meet their basic needs. Xiaomi fanboys have high taste for less, Xiaomi meets that need. you spoke my mind..another man's food is another man's poison no mean say one go die |

HQDesign: Prolly cos bashing doesn't work. I spent 5 days looking for a store that sold the note 8 in my town but the ones I found either didn't have the device or had doubled the cost for the device. I even saw a store that wanted to sell it for 98k for me.
Their devices have awesome specs but they need to advertise in the real world. All the shops I went to had tecno, infinix and itel phones at normal prize and they were everywhere. Definitely people will go for them cos most persons don't even know the use of the different chipsets in a device. They just follow popular opinion.
And if your normal transsion device gets bad na, the possibility of getting a repairman in your street self is very high. This is a deal breaker for everyone.
In the end Sha, I got a Tecno device. Though the specs no near, but I can't stay long without a fone. I don try. Hopefully I go sell am later buy the one after my heart. you guys need to understand that xiaomi officially entered the market not long ago..so you don't expect them to push away the existing market |

Ringalawyer: I am still figuring how to use this site. I'm trying to use emoji. It's not reflecting on my comment. And this thread is active. I thought we can have a meaningful conversation. Even when we were in school lol. Other schools will come for debate. I even expect this to be more mature considering that no one here should be below at least 40, 30 or 25 years should be?? Because there's an age limit?? |

bamac: Why not!
For Jumia global order, it is immediate payment and you will be charged #1200 for custom fee before local shipping fee which is not fixed but location dependant. Your item(s) gets delivered within 15-21 days from the day of order.
Note that no warranty most times on global item unlike local ones. However, 7 days Jumia warranty still covers if anything happens to your order which isn't your fault.
For fashion items, if picture of what you ordered is same as what is delivered you might not be able to redurn.
And of course, I am always available for your orders as I can make it issue free from beginning to the end with no extra charges. Please can you estimate when I'll get a global item that was shipped yesterday?? |
