I think you're making some sense. Those blind, leprous, paralysed and dead folks didn't need any miracles from Jesus too.. Jesus should have just showed blind Bartimeus some love. He'd have just educated him and left him blind even though he had the power to make him see..

Having compassion on blind bartimeus isn't an act of love but hate. Jesus hated every one he healed and raised from the dead.

Same with Peter, Paul and the other apostles. They had no love in them that's why they healed the people they healed..

I know someone who couldn't walk but was healed at Synagogue church. Since then till now he's back in Warri and is walking perfectly. I now Emmanueltv daily and I see God performing great and mighty miracles in our time. Jesus lives, he never said goodbye.

You see, I know I'm quite popular on Nairaland for my constant defense of Christianity and for exposing the lies of Islam. But during those period, I was never saved, mainly because I didn't understand what salvation is. I thought not committing sin is what makes you eligible for heaven , and that if we sin we go to hell.

One day, I came across a YouTube video which saved me. It is by Pastor Steve Anderson and it's titled Once Saved Always Saved. All through my life, I have always heard that the doctrine is false. But I took my time to listen to the pastor. That was the day I got saved.

So many questions bother my mind from childhood till date, I'm glad I found a place to ask.

According to the accounts in the Bible, physical angelic visitations were rampant to Abraham, Mary, Joseph, Paul, Peter, etc.

Daniel was thrown into d pit of lions and was not hurt, same with his colleagues who were thrown into burning furnace. (a pastor IN Ibadan I read some years ago entered lion's den to do like Daniel, was torn to pieces) .

God used Moses' rod to swallow snakes and also path d mighty red sea.

God provided ram IN place of Isaac for Abraham sacrifice instantly.

Noah's story of ark n flood.

Jesus came, walked on water, turned water to wine, fed multitude with the increase from 2fishand 5loaves of bread, healed the sick and raised the dead, d blind received their sights, d deaf could hear, lame could walk, woman with issue of blood case was done and dusted all this happened instantly without delay.

The further promise of Jesus, he told his disciples, greater is d work I did u will do if you believe. The disciple got the holyspirit on the day of Pentecost without delay they went about doing good, healing d sick, etc (do our current generation pastors do dat¿), etc.

The main Question now is has the church miss the light of what happened in the past as recorded in d Bible. Or all Wat was recorded in the Bible are not true?

Yes the government had failed but shouldering the responsibility on church is not a good idea. The church may assist which many are doing . There is no reason whatsoever would make a lady sell her body for money. There are many ladies hustling( legitimate work) to caretaker for themselves and families hence venturing into prostitution is absurd. In reference to David Oyedepo's wealth, he suffered and worked for it.He hustled to where he is today by the grace of God. If he depend on tithes and offerings to run covenant university by now the school would have be rated 125th in Nigeria. As for the private jets, he uses that most times when he needs to travel to different countries to minister. Probably he should be taxed for him so that government can generate revenue. In case you don't know, Winners Chapel offers scholarship to first class graduate of LFC. That alone they had contributed to humanity.

I will advise u to try to search out few dat engage in unlawful acts eg female girls on campus, to know their reasons of keeping many boyfriends and try proffer solution to their problems, same with d ones dat do not engage in unlawful acts but they seek for means of good livelihood but can't attain it. Or do u want dem to hell or is ur preaching alone sufficient for dem?

And as for LFC leader, for the fact u suffered before attaining wealth does not mean u should not penetrate all d sheep in ur care, how are d sheep faring. Do u know he can not get to where he his without ppl supper on one way or d other? If u don't believe dat, let d whole congregation withdraw from him and u will see how naked he will be.

I see church as a good place to allocate wealth, and give some level of balance in d society, but d leaders of the churches are so blind and deaf to dat, they are more concern about how they will attain personal flamboyant life , the likes of David Oyedepo, 2private jets each cost nothing less than 4billion naira. Private universities tuition now less than 500k, can d less privileged in d society attend that? Where is d balance d church is suppose to create? Are we not the true evil in d society, when we know what can proffer solution to problems, but we shy away from them.

E. G whose religion will I follow :Preacher A, came to me and saw my condition that I am jobless, hungry and says it shall be well with u and went on his way.
Preacher B came and preached and guided me on how to get means of livelihood.

We preach love IN churches, after service u saw me walking, u zoomed of alone in ur car, Thunder fire u.

We ought to practice what we preach.

Who told u its difficult for me to pay 10% tithe? I am a full supporter of paying tithe, I can even give more than 10%. All I am advocating for is Christian to stop pretending, dat why d Muslim call us hypocrite {though they av their own issues too} Muslim don't zakat monthly as much as we give in church and they are prospering. We give in Christendom, our givings shouldn't only b only pastor's flamboyant living , building of physical structure churches going out for missionaries, we should summon ourselves to give and use it for betterment of humanity. Crime rate is higher in region where poverty abound.

Let's take charge of world economy, build industries, build quality and affordable schools, go into farming, preach reality, guide us right in way of life ( e.g alot of our girls are semi or pro-prostitutes, Wat r they looking for most? MONEY)

Wen we rise and establish necessary mechanism, we can choose to have prayer room and time at work. Or av u not seen Muslim going for prayer during working hours?.

I guess you still remember why God killed Ananias & Sapphira in the early church?? In case you don't know, I will tell you; They tried to pay 50% tithe instead of the 100% tithe that every other person in the church was paying at the time, and they lied to Apostle Peter and told him the money they brought was 100% tithe. God killed both of them for it.
