DPR initially wanted the first and Second batch to resume Q2 and Q4 of this year respectively.

200 slots were given to Stakeholders. Most of them have reported. The rest that failed to report before October, 1st will join the second batch.

Merit applicants filled the 400 slots. Few of them joined the first batch. Those that failed to report before October, 1st were replaced.

Those that are discerning would find some of Marvel65’s posts troubling. Sometimes I wonder what some folks rejoice about when he posts, maybe its just that I don’t indulge in false hope.

Till date we haven’t seen the merit Marvel talked about, 400 slots disappeared and I would state it as a fact; the number of merit in it was negligible. Some of us did our investigation regarding these slots, so we know what we are saying.

Most times Marvel65’s posts seem to me as an orchestrated/deliberate attempt at misinformation of those with no information though I really want to believe he is just saying what he knows. In this regard, I thank you for sharing what you know even if most of your shared info regarding merit has turned out to be incorrect.

Personally I’m at peace for now but we operate a voting system (democracy). We do what we feel is right. If there comes a day the other members feel it’s getting too long or they get info that something is fishy regarding the merit list. We’d take votes to launch the Open Letter, I only have one vote against. If other members vote for the launch, I have no choice but to render my support to the decision. I hope and believe it won’t get to that.

Please anybody that can check if my APL is even among those on the merit side, please PM me. If its not, na here I go hand-over to my brothers-in-arm (defenders of the merit APLs) and I would no longer comment on this trend but any decision they take in the future they can count my support

C’mon xtruzz nobody called you names. Everyone here is trying to state his/her case according to his/her interest. Our interest is purely the merit list, jobs going to real hardworking people whether they have the connect or not.

The recruitment is not over. Some top stakeholders in Nigeria and in the Oil & Gas industry are still haveing the asurànces of some policy makers in DPR and minister that their interest must surely be protected.

The recruitment is suppose to be in 2 batches. February and November batch. February (July) batch is over and done with. There will be no new recruitment or advert for the November batch.

DPR has selected few merit/stakeholders candidates from July set to make up the November batch. The date to release APL is not certain at all.

Some people where sharing vital information about this recruitment so they have been transfered out of the head office.

Transfered gys are deff and dump about the date in which the letter will be release.

This is the time to put your patience to test.

Hopefuls, I have spoken at length to some people on this matter.

So lets get some facts right

1) The first list had far less than 10% merit on it

2) At the bolded is currently the reason why there is no merit on the second list, its the same as the first list.

3)Stakeholders don’t want us to go public with this to the presidency because it would likely affect the stakeholders that have been given appointments and the ones that are still lobbying for a spot on the second list.

4) The wait is in no way in the favor of merit candidates. It is as a result of various powers that be playing their cards to corner the recruitment.

5) At this point, this recruitment has lost a lot of credibility.

@Notindome, have you noticed that some people make conscious effort not to make any decision but vehemently criticize anyone that try to do more can stare at their phone screen They forget that without a definitive proof, hope means nothing

They feel that the people making such effort must have hidden agendas cuz according to them “who makes such great effort when they may not be part of those favored at the end of the day”.

Do you think we can act on this, we don’t want Oga Shakur to throw-away our cake. Some of us are unemployed, every kobo counts

I am not afraid of including my reference number on the publication or giving it out to the DPR staff monitoring this trend but its better if the publication has one resounding voice. If its their earnest desire that I give my reference number to them so they burn my APL making sure I don’t get in, I will. So far they release the rest of the Merit APLs at once and end this recruitment.

Great Prudence has always provided for me. I look nothing like what I have been through. I have nothing to fear.
