sheesh2: herlecks: @Herlecks, the day i saw this your comment i was itching to so reply but part of me said wait for Marvel65 to “say something” then reply herlecks. I couldn’t see any sense in the way you responded to the lady. “People like you...” you mean people that have been telling you there is no merit in this recruitment. They were disappointed? When? I want to believe everyone here thinks but I’m having strong doubts. Half of the info she dropped here is true and its correlates with what Marvel65 said. “replacement” was what was happening. So the next half is “is there a merit batch?” Sometimes i feel some people are not reading well or there is problem with their comprehension. Marvel65 didn't give an explicit confirmation about the “next list” being the “merit batch”. I honestly didn’t see anything to jubilate over in Marvel65’s comment. Anyways She told you her “Honest truth”, so your “People like you....” comment was just out of place and it really ticked me off on her behalf but I’m in a very happy mood today so I won’t say all i planned to say to you. Nobody is stopping you from “waiting and hoping” but its obvious most people here would rather be served lies than the truth. Like I said earlier people would believe what they want to believe irrespective of the evidence before them. So lets politely engage one another while we are watching this action-film to the end (till the portals close, then we would know the lairs amongst us) 2 Likes |

Xtruzz: Xtruzz: Word Of The Day: Contradiction ******************************************** einsteine: Buy the truth and sell it not If you are solely merit you have better odds of winning an oscar than getting on that list. Stakeholder candidates have better odds by a margin so wide, its like the gap between the rich and the poor in Nigeria Believe it or not you need a miracle. I have accepted the fact that I need a miracle, the sooner you do same the better for you Don’t allow yourself to be swayed by half-truths, which are being disbursed to make someone look good. lefulefu: At all. Provided that; 1) Wale Adenuga’s son wants to take responsibility for the baby. He is ready to be a father. 2) She has sat down to discuss the future with Wale Adenuga’s son and she thinks she’s on track. 3) It is clear beyond every reasonable doubt that Wale Adenuga’s son wants her in his future. If the above is not the case, I would be the first to let her know OYO is her state. You can see how ladies just stayed clear of the trend Babies are not born in few days, gestation takes several weeks. Enough time for you to think, align your life, get your plans together. How most still come up short in terms of reasoning in this lengthy period of time is baffling 3 Likes |

You insisted you wanted the pregnant, even after you saw he wasn’t ready. You had the child. Now you are nagging him for marriage, school fees, more love etc. B!t@h are you crazy 9 Likes 1 Share |

LuciferKristi: Lmao Pocohantas is a working class big girl though. I know a babe that decided she wanted to get pregnant of her own accord. She is 29, her parents are rich. She dey go America like person wey dey go Silverbird cinema. She works in a multi-national. She got pregnant by the boyfriend, told her parents her plans then went ahead to have the child in a foreign country. This is very much allowed because she has zero expectations from her boyfriend and she resides in this same Nigeria. 6 Likes 1 Share |

It works for some eg Wizkid’s baby mama. You can see the kind of irrational expenses (International trips, really expensive school for the child when cheaper ones are available, expensive apartment, shopping spree etc) the nigga is incurring just because one She should count herself really lucky, I trust some niggaz even if they are richer than wizkid she go hear am For some Ladies the situation is just sad, they tried to play this card and they end up in a sad frustrating situation 2 Likes |

I honestly can’t fathom the rationale behind it. I have to throw the question open. Why do some Ladies allow themselves to get pregnant hoping the man involved would get married to her. Does she think he would love her just because she is pregnant for him? Is it greed? Or just stupidity? Is because he is comfortable, she feels he should be able to handle the responsibilities she is hauling his way? Is there a mystical power that comes to her aid to imprison him in the chambers of her love when she gets pregnant for him? If this was in 1998, I would have cut Ladies in these situation some slack but we are in 2018. Wide array of contraceptive are available, honestly I don’t understand the thought process behind these Ladies’ decisions. Yes, the Ladies’ decision. You find out that even if their partners make it clear they not interested in having a child they still go ahead to bring forth a child into this already tainted world. Soon after you would be hearing there numerous complaints and stories of regret. I have been reading posts from a particular Nairalander, whose name I won’t mention and its rather sad. She got pregnant for a guy, who wasn’t 100% in for it. He moved to another country, now she is in Nigeria weeping and hoping He comes for her Maybe I am being biased, please share your opinion. 1 Like |

“Merit”-People!! Especially if you applied for a Social Science Position, Please immediately you have your APL in hand kindly storm this trend to preach the good-news https://www.nairaland.com/4758543/neva-apply-federal-government-job I know by God’s grace, with my APL in hand I’d branch there to tell them “Do not conform to the patterns of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. I am sure DPR is the will of God for me and everyone else with really good scores on the test & interview, just like it was “God’s will” for the stakeholder candidates that got the job and didn’t even write test You would make a great fire-fighter (na joke I dey oo ). simplynace: Na wetin we get oo I can’t help but ponder though, this exactly why the high and mighty would stay “high and mighty” and the commoner continually be a commoner in this Country. Last last God will not come down and stop the people in power from taking bribe, buying and selling “favours” and doing “permutations and combination with the list”. Right now it looks like the whole of social sciences has been handed over to stakeholder candidates. All my friends that applied for social science positions have formatted DPR from the brain and moved on. The one that stressed himself to try check list claims that 80% of the names belong to people from a particular geographical area that is affiliated with Mr President If na God dey HR in flesh many hardworking sons & daughters of nobodies would be smiling now I don’t need to see the list to know that 95% of the stakeholder candidates weren’t the best in the interview/test and there would be someone who performed better than them in their state/role that won’t be employed yet they have resumed I am a Christian but also an unrepentant realist, some people would translate that if their names were replaced or “lost in transit” into God not wanting them to work in DPR. Big fallacy! I do believe in the power of Prayers but what does the Good Book say about when a hungry man comes to you. Is it prayer that would fill his belly. Lets us all do what is right then our prayers would be uplifting Make I no start sef before they go wan comot my name . Make we take our religion-based placedo siddon wait the final list October will surely be a month to remember 4 Likes |
