Ghostofspata:https://www.afterschoolafrica.com/scholarship/by-level/phd/ http://www.scholars4dev.com/category/level-of-study/phd-scholarships/ Keep checking these sites, they have some that are currently open. I hope you find something that fits your need. May Allah reward your efforts abundantly. |
Ghostofspata:The reason why i don’t reply sometimes is that some comments that are so lacking in knowledge. But I want to believe you are open minded and this will not turn to another unnecessary argument. Its not a bad thing not to know but in not wanting to learn lays the problem with most men. I didn’t study law and I am sure you didn’t too but I have watched enough “How to get away with murder” and co. First check definition of the word “witness” in law. A witness can provide two forms of evidence “direct” and “circumstantial” evidence. In this case this is a circumstantial evidence, does he know these people? Yes. Can he identify them? Yes. Can we get evidence supporting the fact they didn’t even register? Yes etc. Mind you countless murder suspects have been convicted on circumstantial evidence that carry less weight than what elbangeez stated here. Please don’t say “this is Nigeria”, an average lawyer can pull this off even in Nigeria. Broaden your horizon. Learning is fun. Disclaimer: I have no political affiliations and no interest in assassinating anybody’s character. I sincerely apologize if I caused you any trouble, or I am causing you any trouble and in advance for the troubles I would bring your way. We would do whatever is necessary as permissible by the Law to further this cause; All we want are the APLs for merit candidates, so we can mark the end of this journey. |
elbangeez: |
For all who care to know, Final draft of the Open Letter is ready. Costing is next and it’ll be posted here for all who care enough to contribute. When all is ready the Letter itself would be posted here. A big “Thank you” to all who have supported the struggle. |
herlecks:When you say “us” you really have to be more specific cuz its definitely not part of the “common man” team that doesn’t even have enough connect to check their name. You, Xtruzz, peepydelano et al are all playing for the same team and that team has no concern for the common man. If you did APLs for merit candidates would have been out instead after your spots are guaranteed, you stand guard here doing nothing; discouraging others from action while it is being steady dished to the rich and powerful. herlecks:If you read what you write you’d see how laughable it is. Nay its God that put me on this path. If you really would like to know my destiny, end this process; release the APLs for merit candidates. Lets us all find out our destinies. |
I know how stressful all this has been for you all, I too was filled with high hopes and unwavering faith in Mr. Shakur when I attended my interview at Virginrose Resorts. Until information started getting out, even this month some people have collected APLs. It is clear that its only by taking action can merit candidates get even the few slot allocated to them. Only God knows what is left of the APLs for the Merit candidates, more time risks the inevitable. I pray that our destinies will not be stolen. When Xtruzz was making sentimental speeches trying to use emotions to subject us to inaction, instead of actually getting things done. I laughed. I am currently unemployed, I’m an orphan I have been for 25 years out of the life I have lived; What do you know about our lives. We all just want is to see an end to this journey, so we can all go our separate ways and don’t say we are impatient; its long overdue. I really hate to cause any trouble for Mr. President, but if it has to get to that so be it. |
OjioO16:Duly noted. Thank you. We appreciate all the help we can get. Once the letter and all arrangements are ready, I’ll post it here for all to see with allowance of ample spare time for inputs before publication. |
Sholly24:I would advise you not to crack your head too much on his post, because its going to be the Proverbial “the more you look the less you see” ![]() |
peepydelano:Brother chill till when exactly? Don’t be deceived by the fact its BrockSamson you see doing most of the talking. There are very silent people that have made up their mind. When exactly would the merit list be released and this wonderful journey brought to its end because the sooner the better. There is not a lot of time. peepydelano:Of ‘cus they are not ![]() |
peepydelano:27th September really! ![]() I thought you said APLs has stopped flowing to Stakeholders candidates. The kind of information you have divulged through your posts are “so comforting”. The truth is like air, you can’t imprison it. To defend a lie you need more lies, but nobody has a good enough memory to be a perfect lair. Till December 31, our wait would have still continued while they continue dashing out APLs but thank God October will surely be a month to remember. |
Excuses Excuses Excuses! The world has suffered alot not because of the violence of bad people but because of the silence of good people. All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing. It’s very glaring how connected these people are, their slots are already guaranteed. Remember the first set of stakeholders candidates? Just look at the level of energy they are using to speak ill of a publication which is just meant to tell the story of this recruitment. Why this energy, if you don’t have something to hide. Instead of them to use their energy and connections to advocate for the release of the APLs of their fellow candidates with brilliant minds and end this torturous journey. They rather pile unto them a load of fears; what if it is cancelled, what if the current management is ousted and the new management doesn’t do blah blah blah....This recruitment can span from now till infinite, it is of no concern to them because it serves their purpose. Their interest is what they are currently actively protecting with high energy. They hound this trend using multiples of posts to deceive the feeble minded. They would be here soon. |
As it was in 2012, so it is now and without corrective action forever it shall be. A cycle of conspiracy seemly without an end.
|
Anybody willing to contribute to the publication would have a chance soon. Those that are for us outnumber those against us. Proverbs 10:15 - The wealth of the rich is their fortress; the poverty of the poor is their destruction. Benson Commentary - The destruction of the poor — The cause of their destruction; is their poverty — Which often renders them friendless, defenceless, and exposed to the injuries of the malicious and cruel. Or, as מחתתmay be rendered, it is their terror, or consternation. It deprives them of courage and confidence, sinks their spirits, and fills them with fear and despair. Shake off shackles of Fear, Deceit, Procrastination. Strive to rise above, never let lack of finance be the hindrance to your destiny. |
Xtruzz:Amen! But if it is for no selfish gain but to see the end of the process which some greedy men and their children have hijacked, Lord of host fight for us. Identify everyone here that is not of us but posing to be of us commoners, in other to further their interest. Let your terrible Hand find them, bend your bow and shoot them down suddenly [Psalm 64:7]. This we ask in the name of your Holy Son Jesus Christ. Amen. |
peepydelano:bent on giving merit a chance you say while he is still sharing the slots, your jokes have sarcastic undertone ![]() We have pray so hard, we think we have finally heard the voice of God... |
peepydelano:All these months you have been following us bumper to bumper now all of a sudden you are no longer one of the hopefuls. Well congrats to you. If there is a second batch, please tell Oga Shakur to release it and let us go our merry way. |
sahihameen2018:God bless you. We have begun the race against time. I’m not sure if some people read what they type, because it puts a big question mark on where their loyalty lies. How can we be talking about consequences, before now has the common man benefited in any way. Some said this publication would be ignored, I laugh. If I don’t know anything about Mr President, I know he can be quite pragmatic. Nothing he hates more than someone causing him more problem than necessary. Especially in this “harmattan” political atmosphere he is experiencing no telling the number of “his trees” this spark would burn down. I’m just wondering why we allowed ourselves to be handicapped to not doing anything till now. Allowing ourselves to be insulted by DPR’s audacity to issue numerous APLs to stakeholders while leaving us in limbo. Only God knows the number of slots that are presently available for the common man after stakeholders have taken the lion share. Imagine a handful of people holding tens of thousands of us ransom because we have no political connections nor an influential sponsor. We are tired and we are not asking for too much; end this recruitment now. |
donafure:I have sent you a PM. |
. |
donafure:Well noted sir. Once the final draft is ready it will be posted here for all to see and comment on. Thank you |
Dear Hopefuls, we have finished the first draft of the Open Letter to used for our Newspaper publication. I say a very big thank to the people that have turn-up to support this cause. Updates would be provided on this trend for those interested. May God bless and reward all our endeavors. |
herlecks:Stop projecting your qualities on to us, it’s inherent in the very words you speak. We are in the process of making our own change, we could work better with some quiet ![]() Were you sent to stall us lil’ herlecks. We are going to ignore you now. Run along. |
herlecks:It’s because of people like you that Nigeria is finding it hard to make progress. We have chosen to make this our business, all you doing is “talk” about our business. Take your own advice, go and look for something to occupy your time ![]() |
notindome:I have replied your PM. |
herlecks:Letting the world know we were cheated is unnecessary trouble? If you don’t wish to add value, please sit down quietly on the sideline and watch. |
elbangeez:No. A newspaper publication is no way a waste of time. We are fighting a battle where at this point we have nothing to lose already. The more reason we should fight with reckless abandon. We have prayed. God, the Great Judge is on our side. It time for us to march forward and act. Under who’s administration do you think all this happening. Integrity, Transparency.... I’m sure we have also heard those words multiple things from President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration. Well he is nursing a second term ambition....do i need to say more? He would have to show us he doesn’t just associate with the mere letters of these words but their meaning. Mr Ahmad Rufai Shakur has silently tagged us as irrelevant. An effective message exposing the rout should drive home the message to him. My initial plan was to have this story ready for blogs and social media, tending when this recruitment ends without any merit. It would be in such a way they when ever his name is inputted into google search the keyword output would be DPR recruitment scam, dishonesty, bribery etc ![]() |
elbangeez:Exactly, but at the same time it depends on who asks him. There are different categories of BIG. Either way this stalling is not in our best interest and it is enough reason to doubt Mr. Ahmad Rufai Shakur’s intention towards merit candidates. If he truly wanted to get this recruitment over with he would have ordered the dispatch of our letters and scheduled our resumption for June 2018; we won’t mind. People, it is in our best interest to doubt Mr. Ahmad Rufai Shakur’s intentions in this recruitment because honestly speaking he hasn’t shown any form of good faith towards us, he didn’t deem it necessary. I am in support of a Newspaper publication, to bring this matter to the notice of the presidency and the general public. I would gladly contribute generously toward its publication. |
Abdulmusty87:Lmao. Choi DPR!!. The truth is the truth though. However Lord show your mighty power, that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus [Acts 4:30] |
peepydelano:Hmm. Marvel65 is very much likely to be a DPR HR staff. I don’t want to be the pessimist but the vibe I get from Marvel65 is that the “rain” has started falling only that its not falling on any of us. If you know what I mean. Marvel65 himself seems to be surprised. This has happened before remember. The first batch he told us the exact day APL started to “rain”, we all doubted him ‘cause none of us got wet; only to discover that that “rain” was never intended for us commoners ![]() Well I could be very wrong, let wait for Marvel65 to clear the air. Either way once this week is over, we would know our fate for sure. |
Xtruzz:If the letters are not released before 18th Oct, do what she proposed. It is no news that Mr. Ahmad Rufai Shakur has already failed at his job, from the moment the 1st batch of Stakeholder candidates (that were singing his praises of Integrity, transparency blah blah) disappeared with their APLs; I couldn’t hold back my laughter. Such an Impeccable man ![]() If merit ever shows up and you’re so lucky to be part of the very few selected. Never forget that what was done to your comrades on this DPR journey was invariably done to you. Never forget “you” were disrespected, disregarded and robbed of a significant number of positions. Let this injustice be the spark that lights your fire of convictions, convictions that would guide your future actions. |
herlecks:Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt - Abraham Lincoln ![]() A man who won't read has no advantage over one who can't. |
Samsonik:Exactly, “correlate” and make your choice without raining on another person’s parade in a demeaning manner. At the end of the day; we’d all be fine ![]() |
