Dangote knows what is happening it is just that he does not know how bad it is. So many coded nepotistic stunts and unprofessionlism in the company from asking us to state our tribes under the guise of federal character but a subtle instrument to choose the region they like, to shoving opening of first bank account and PSA account on us.

I have a friend who just came back from a univeristy in UK early this year (Msc Chemical Engr.) and the dude has already gotten an invite for medicals (Refinery, GT). He did not write the test. Infact, I know about 2 or 3 people from my university who didn't do test but have gone for training. Two of the guys i know are as dumb as rock (sorry but I just have to say it as it is) and they did not do the test. One is in refinery, the other is in the fertilizer plant. A third dude is very smart, he made a distinction in his Msc but they frustrated this guy's life for more than 14 months before he was called for medicals.

Honestly, between me and God, if you have another offer, go for it and forget dangote. This same nepotism has eaten deep into the company and will haunt you as you attempt to progress in the company. The company is like a typical nigerian community. Yea, there is a mix of merit based guys but the number of back door people are very much . Trust me. They only consider the common man when they cannot get one of their own to fill an imminent void or if he is just too outstanding....but even at that ...well...

Luckily for me, i just got admission for msc in UK and I will be dumping the process now even though I made it to the last stage. I honestly wish you all well.

I would advise you not to resign from Npower... Moreover you can be doing both. For my place of work, 70% of guys are Npower beneficiary. Just run the thing with your supervisor

Except if someone knows someone who knows someone who can ascertain if the refinery is 90% done,then the whole recruitment process will speed up

please nairalanders i am losing my senses and entering into depression as the day goes by.

I am a young lawyer, i came out with a 2.1 in my Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and 2.1 from the Nigerian Law School.

I really worked my ass out in school to get good grades but uptill now no job. I have applied to several law firms, companies, federal institutions but no headway.

They keep on saying no vacancy, i guess the Nigerian factor of knowing somebody playing out. I dont have any god father to help me.

I really need your help. i am based in Lagos but if i see a good offer in Abuja i dont mind relocating.

I am versatile and willing to work in a law firm, bank, company, NGO or any place a lawyer can work.

@Flexy99 you are just saying what you don't know. Guys did so after test and we were invited for GD. wether it's a waste of time or not I will still urge Mech applicant to do so sharply before the DORC team start sending mail for next stage

if you are Mech wether you pass the GD or not, don't want till you receive mail or not.. just scan and send your age & degree certificate to the email aswell. #my view

Please the group discussion is it for only those who passed the written test or is it for all applicant. From the info @ my disposal it's for all. So if you are among those that wrote the test & haven't been invited, kindly mail them you will be invited for GD
