Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by brownbaby(f): 5:49pm On Sep 08, 2008
Dr. please what is happening to me?

I had a threatened abortion in late July i.e slight bleeding for two days 22nd & 23rd july and abdominal pain (last period was on 12th June), I had bed rest as prescribed, but on 1st August I saw blood again. Did blood and urine PT on 22nd July and 11th august which were positive. Did Pelvic scans on 22nd July and 4th August which were negative i.e nothing was seen. On 15th august saw blood again. Then on 5th Sept, did urine PT which was negative. Meanwhile i've been experiencing nausea and vomiting since late August (Once in a while though). My doctor says he is keeping me under watch but I'm fed up since he is not reaching a conclusion.

I am totally confused, I'm I pregnant, I'm I not? When is my next period/ovulation? do I need evacuation, what is missed abortion, is that what I experienced?. I'm anxious to know. My marriage is a year but i'm not too young.

Kudos for a job well done. Pls when is a scan supposed to show the foetal. I did scan at two months but i'm yet to see anything. Though I experienced bleeding after a month but a PT cnfirmed i'm still pregnant. do you think there is need for a total Abdominal Scan.

Thanks expeting ur urgent reply.

Thank God, like igbogolo said, it overshot the runway by a few meters,and nobody was hurt, only that the aircraft may have been damaged to an extent, which will be taken care of by the Airline.

Chanchangi AIrlines has never recorded any crash in the past 10 years of their operations. We thank God the enemy was put to shame in this industry in Nigeria at this point in time.

haba, That I said I will fight you, you should know its only a playful statement, will i leave celebrating after the runs and start fighting as u think, thats why i took time to explain my understanding of recent and not that i dont care, but your hissing and all that , , you took it too far and too serious. I only wish we will communicate maturely and with respect for each other here and not that if we seek advise and help, then we are less intelligent and dont know what we are doing and therefore should be worded here, so pls i didn't mean any harm.

@Pataki
Thanks for your intervention, but how could you think I'll fight someone helping me out, i will rather you talk like Funky did rather than adding petrol to fire.

Anyway let it be between me and my friend . Ese gan ni.

@Funkybaby
thanks jare, they only took me wrong, dont mean fighting him at all, twas a joke. U could see i explained to show my helper his efforts are not wasted i did my part and not slotfull with the whole thing as he thinks.

I beg your pardon. My bank statement current and ready and was accepted, my admission letter Though written December 2007, says:
"Your place on sososo course is reserved till sososo date  january 2008 in case u can't make it by end of sososo february 2008, its still opened till April 2008, "

Isn't that recent/current enough  , as in i'm expected by 2008 april and not any admission date that is past . Who knows that your idea of recent is that it must be written in that year of resumption, so there is no issue of one not caring here, only that those people will always look for loop holes.

I reserve my fight with you till I'm through with the whole runs. Dont abuse me o  angry

@neksbabay

You have to get a letter written in 2008.Even if the resumption is may 2008,
as long as it was written in 2007 it will be rejected.

so get an updated letter.

How did you get ur admission letter thru scanned mail or post?

@Baba kolly
My marriage was after the application, while I was waiting for the appeal result (applied 2005,, marriage cert dated 2007). It should'nt have any effect on my aplication se e. Or do you think they'll bring up new issues on that?

earnestly waiting for your call. sad

Dont you think BHC will stress accoomodation issue? But the school wants me to pay
almost 35k before they send me accomodation placement reservation, after which I will now pay the accomodation fee apart from the 35k. Dont want to send any more money down there before getting the visa.What do you think?

What did you find out about the school, like we agreed, i actually intend to change it. make I enter first anyway.

@funkybaby
congrats to you, though we dont know what you and akolawole are celebrating, just let the RSVP reach me.

@sureng
Chief winker, just keep practising your winking, let me come first, you will wink tire. grin

@Akola wo ile

Thanks, didnt get ur message as per my getting an email to show the date.

Wish you'll call since i cant, got some things to really discuss.

expecting ur call, thanks angel Kola. grin

@all
Anyway, was there but they require a defferal letter from the school dated 2008.
The one presented was dated december 007. So will still get back to the school to give me 2008 letter,
meaning the admission will now be september as April admission is late now.

Also, was given another form to fill whihc requires so many things e.g marital status and so on (like I'm just applying), and while they were yet to answer my mails after the determination came out, I sent them the determination AND a copy of my marriage certificate so they'll know my hubby is here and i wont stay put in their country. So I think now i cant hide the fact that I'm married. Of what implication is that in my case?

Pls advise.

@Pahtakee

Thanks so much, you really feel me. Visa.lagos@fco.gov, thats the address i've been mailing, three times now, but its the same story. To say I'm fed up is an understatement, thank God for the fact that I'm not stranded here, I'm working
in a comfortable establishment, married some months ago and happy, but the school fees i've paid, the money I spent on the appeal and the fact that I won, its injustice if i'm denied again.

Putting my trust in God anyway, and waiting for any suggestion that may help. Wish I have home office e-mail,phone no. or address. Thanks so much.

@Akolawole

Thanks for ur response too, wish I know what is wrong. The next in take is April some weeks to this time,my admission was deffered till April (imagine).
The first application was in Lagos here.

Waiting for your advise. Thanks.

to BHC. My resumption at school is next month. being on this since 2005, its sickning.

@ Timx,

Ariston has answered u correctly. the time varies, mine took 5months. Just keep on praying
and waiting patiently.

@Ariston,

Thanks for the advise. But my sponsor is my father, who is right here in Nigeria.
think I will keep bombarding BHC, lagos with mails and keep praying.
Then, will appreciate if I can get the addres of the home office from anyone.

Thanks.
Travel / Re: Uk Visa - Visa Appeal Process by brownbaby(f): 12:54pm On Jan 24, 2008
Thanks Ariston 4 your advise. For someone like me, I'm clean/truthful in my applications
though the whole process is almost frustrating. I really hope and know that I will triumph soon.

Called AIT, saying BHC, Lagos claimed they have not received the outcome of the appeal,and was told they are not to inform BHC Lagos but the home office. So I think I have to contact the home office to brief their colleagues in Lagos,
of the outcome of my appeal.

Therefore can anyone let me in on their contact address. i.e. BHC, UK.

ALUTA CONTINUA !
Travel / Re: Uk Visa - Visa Appeal Process by brownbaby(f): 3:02pm On Jan 18, 2008
Hi all,

I received a reply from BHC Lagos by mail, that they are yet to receive a copy of the outcome from AIT.

Guess I av to call and mail AIT to send d copy to them in Lagos, or send me a mail confirmingg they av sent
sent them d copy whihc I'm sure they have.

Its only God that can help us with these people, imagine going thruogh all this after winning the appeal.

@wolf
I sent the outcome of my appeal to BHC, Lagos some days ago. I sent it to visa.lagos@fco.gov.uk, but i'm yet to get any response from them. Was that where you sent yours? Could you/anyone give me other addresses through which I can send the outcome to them?

Thanks.

kUDOS TO U Naijaking, Balogun & co.

Please talking about the Menstrual Cycle, mine used to be 28 days or more, but recently about four months ago, it has become irregular after I used Clomid, sometimes 25 sometimes 21 making it difficult to know my ovulation day. That apart, I will like to know the effect of this clomid on a baby as I intend to use it again (after 4months) as I have not achieved the aim of getting pregnant yet. Your response is urgently needed as I'm to start the dosage 2day/tomorrow (clomid) if I av to use it.

Thanks so much.

I feel you brother, guess we are in the same shoes. I filed an appeal too(2005), which I won last November

and was told by AIT UK that BHC here will call me. Till now I've not heard from them but I want to get updated

statement of account of my sponsor(my father), letter showing reservation of hostel accomodation (necessary I think,

pls advise), I av deferral letter of Admission from my school to resume February and if not, my admission is opened till

April 2008 (paid 1year tuition fee). So I hope to get all these ready,in readiness for their call, and mail them if I dont

hear anything from them by the end of this week. So i'm sure advise from the gurus in the house will be of use to me too.

Wishing us luck as we wait.

Rgds to All.
