Nasarawa State isn't a bad place for service year but don't pray to be posted to the interior villages...Lolz... You know what to expect there already. But some villages are cool and friendly. You will enjoy free food stuffs from villagers at times. But when you get to camp, there's what to do if you intend serving in state capital. Join Band!.. There are other means though.

Nasarawa State has one of the best camps in Nigeria. The environment is neat, the food is manageable, cost of food stuffs and other things are not at exorbitant as it has be painted online. I didn't touch my first allawe on camp and was still able to save part of the money I went with. But those don't expect too much when it comes to social activities, we no try for that at all...Our camp fire was very brief, some of us couldn't DEMONSTRATE as planned...Lolz...The soldiers are very friendly, we were not given any hard drilling.

The state pays 5k monthly allowance, for those at the ministry, they collect theirs monthly (CASH) but those in school will collect after 5months. Those at the Federal University are not paid, and are not entitled to state allowance as well. My PPA is cool, everyday is our day of work and everyday is our holiday as well. Not a school sha. And serving in Lafia, the state capital. Transportation is damn cheap here!.

Hello house just finished my nysc in Abj I can say it was cool. Please make your choice of State be a high one like me. I choose Abj Lagos, kaduna akwaibom and I was posted to abj. As am talking now I have been retained. With a good salary.

You are very correct, bank charges will be included as well...Altogether, I paid N3,039.5. You will pay it during your reg. But if you don't have, you may not be able to complete your reg. As for those planning to get theirs from school, it is advisable if you have the cash, just pay it to avoid unnecessary stress.

Depending on the camp but in Nasarawa, they asked those without their medical certificate to visit the clinic on camp for their certificate. I don't know if I have answered your question.

You have to tender your medical certificate when you get to camp. It is part of the documents needed for your screening...

Good evening my e-Fam....Been a while...

....And so my platoon thrilled the audience at the just concluded cultural day, though some platoons are yet to showcase their presentation. Today, a football match between my platoon, platoon 8 and and platoon 9 ended in 1-0 in favour of my platoon. I no know where dem carry me from, na so I see myself as their keeper..lolz...


Camp is still fun, like seriously, we are getting used to the normal wake-up early routine. The drilling don reduce sha. Most annoying to me na this SAED lectures, no lecture wey I no de sleep. Chai, my village people get me for that aspect. They invited a man today to educate us during SAED, he kept waxing stronger in the midst of murmuring and complains. He saw the tiredness and lack of interest written all over our faces, but he was determined!. He said, he was paid for this and he must deliver his lecture. We had no choice, i sleep, wake up, sleep again wake up, the ugly man never comot. I tired, I con de listen to music on my fone. Thanks to my lovely earpiece. lolz


Women, hmmm...I never see any catch sha, dem too plenty. I get female friends sha, and babes de chew gum guys with money upandan..Na so I de see fat fat people everywhere. I am very brief in stature, so I no de do oju kukoro. lolz.

As for dinner, they served us Tuwo and one soup like that wey I know no d name...

Also, the day we collected our transport allowance (1500), make Una con see how mami de filled up. Come see how my people de blow d money like say na 200k dem collect. NYSC should bett'r not give some people their first allawe while on camp. If not, na Nysc go still contribute money give dem for transport back home o.

It was reported that they sent someone who disguised to be someone else to get the 'Igbo' outside the camp ground. God so good, he went out without been caught and at his return....Breeze con blow, e con expose fowl yansh....#FastFoward...
