blackpanda: Then you should have asked the idiat who issued those threat to wait for when their god will strike than issuing senseless threat. Malaye is not the first to do same. Amaechi, el rufai have done same in the past and I'm sure you hailed them. 9 Likes |

blackpanda: Read my aforementioned post. The reason people are commenting here is because he was issued a threat never to set foot in that region by faction of APC,there's no way they can do anything to him, he is a senator and have his security attach with him always. Even though he is taking pics alone I for one knows he have security around him. Your complain should be directed to the cowards who issued the ban. 15 Likes |

bloodyBLOGGER: If you wont deal with him physically or publicly why make threat, most people commenting here are not saying tinubu can't deal with him, in fact even you can deal with him. One trigger will do the magic. But banning someone from a region and the person shows up the next day taking pics and paparazzi all over with no confrontation is the reason for this mockery. The apc Sw should have known better before making issuing such a silly ban on a politician and senator at that. 70 Likes 2 Shares |

Pita99: I repeat they defended their country and not erdogan, opposition party condemned the coup and all politicians irrespective of their party urged the people to resist the coup. The struggle was for the country and not the president |

The Turks didn't defend erdogan but their country and democracy, not all of them like him, they also accuse him of corruption, but they put that aside to preserve the legitimate govt and democracy in their county. |

AntiWailer: I disagree, the govt already lost control, the rebel group was everywhere and took over airport, media etc, the top military officers was held hostage, erdogan had no option than to call the people to go out and protest Enmass, his statement was through FaceTime, this made it very difficult for the military as civilians went all out defied the martial law and started disharming the military men. This was a fight won by ordinary citizens of turke: 5 Likes |

Politics / What Nigeria Can Learn From Turkey Failed Coup by brownlord1: 8:33am On Jul 16, 2016 |
What Nigeria can learn from the failed coup. The people loved their country more than their political parties, both the ruling and opposition party vehemently rejected the coup, the protest started just few minutes after the president address the citizens through FaceTime to go out and protest and immediately they where all out. The military knew it was a lost battle the moment the people came out Enmass to boo them, they had no choice but to submit to the govt. it was a tensed moment in Ankara and Istanbul f16 and assorted military jet parading the skies of turkey yet the people failed to be intimidated, defiled curfew and went out to fight for their right, it was civilians that forced military men out of attarurk airport, they did same at the state own broadcasting station that was seized by military same for cnn turkey. If this was to be in Nigeria either PDP or APC would politicalized it and thereby divide the citizens, if the coup was against a southerner trust the north to support the coup, against a northerner the south will support. The Muslim too are going to support if an infidel a southerner was to be ousted out and the Christians will do same against a Muslim I also realized that despite the tensed moment, the military didn't start shooting sparodically at protesters that was why they could disharm them. I could see civilians daring military with tanks and they kept calm as against Nigeria military who will kill 1000 on the spot. The turkey opposition parties realized that despite their political differences they must save democracy first before talking about holding to power something our political class lack. erdogan was not in control of the country for hours, he flew out of the country hence he had to address the country through FaceTime after military took control of trt and other media houses. The only hope left was the citizens who he told to go in the street and this didn't take minutes before they did. If this was Nigeria, either PDP or APC would have supported the military and this would divide the citizens instead of protesters to go against the military, it would be PDP loyalist against APC loyalist and the military would take advantage to complete what they started. The people in unity got back their country and restored democracy. Hope we can learn a thing from this. 6 Likes 4 Shares |
