Queenhadassah: What this scarcity of international passport almost cost me early this year ehn,. I travelled to another state from Lagos with my 1 year old daughter in January and decided to apply for a passport for her there. So I went online, filled the form and made the payment, Did her NIN then went to the passport office. I got there and I was told that there was no 32 pages booklet available infact only 2 states in Nigeria had it. Wahala! And I already paid for 32 pages for my daughter. I had already booked a flight to Lagos also and they were telling me that they don't know when 32 pages booklet will be available. So on the day of the data capture, we went and I was given a date to pick the passport, which was one month from the date of the capture. My initial plan was to pay for express but as there was no 32 pages booklet, express will not work. I started scratching my head, I met an immigration staff and explained my dilemma- I don't live in that state and I need to return to Lagos, it won't be possible for anyone to pick the passport on my behalf when it's available meaning I will have to travel back to collect it etc. The staff looked at me and said she will help me, that they have 32 pages booklet reserved for medical reasons but I will have to pay extra for it. I said no wahala, so long as they will give me that passport that day. I paid and in less than 2 hours I got the 32 pages booklet passport that was scare nationwide. The extra money I paid was like 15 or 20k but it was way cheaper compared to buying a flight ticket.
Wow! |

Queenhadassah: Pls who has evaluated their result with WES recently? A friend who started the whole process last month (alumni of unilag) just called to say that her evaluation is ready in less than a month. She only paid 30k to unilag, she didn't pay any money for verification infact there was no stage where she had to call unilag to verify her result. I'm still shocked! My husband told me that it's possible cause on their website it says 35 working days to get your result evaluated. Has anyone experienced this pls? I want to know if my friend misinterpreted whatever message WES sent to her exactly my experience and I thought it was cos I verified msc. Very seamless |

For doz looking for updates from ts guys calm down develop urselves.im not sure we ve up to 10 nairalanders there besides they re not finding things easy, the cut off was 75 yet more than half cannot make up to 70 . D academy is currently fighting to make cutoff 70 cos d failure is much. Wen it was bn said in previous chats regarding d courses, some over sabi pple were saying it's normal accounting dey did in school. Please please develop ourselves ....d results seen re noting to write home about and pple will be dropped come 8th Feb.......from a very reliable source |

My pple, I'm going to be as simple as possible. let's Ve fun and at d same time know what we came for joor.its too early for chasing after girls and sneaking into hostels. We should take a leaf from what happened to d conversion trainees,if firstbank would think of dropping almost 50 out of 89 pple despite d years they Ve put in,experience, other trainings and relationships they Ve had with these pple, then GT is moimoi. And to tell u d truth? This set seem like they came for something else, its not even a month or two yet just days! Brethren it's a once in a lifetime opportunity,no resit o.after waiting for a year plus you will now allow distractions to rob you of it? Read as if ur life depends on it,u must not eat all d food,u must not sleep all d sleep and u must not indulge in all d recreational activities. In d good old days, other banks used to come and pick firstbank leftovers after training school but not now o. Not everybody will be taken cos on d last day u will see pple dat never joined u in d 3months training coming to pick up their offer letter ,u guys re not in d same category o. Strive to be excellent cos ur score also determines where u re deployed, sales with target, customer care, head office, files handler etc. The worst thing you would do is to take those courses for granted, trust me it's not what you are used to.
So what I'm I saying in essence? If it's fear from the things that re said here that will propel u,u should welcome it.if u need to sacrifice ur enjoyment for 3months to get the best you should. But its solely ur choice. And u re being watched. ......from a reliable source

dammyAJ: Good evening fellaz, a friend of mine got an invite to start TS with FBN, but she is so bothered because she currently stays in Lagos and wants to relocate to ekiti...I would've advised her, but I don't know what to tell her since I don't have any idea on how to go about it.
Will it be possible for FBN to transfer her to ekiti after training school?
Or she will have to remain in Lagos because she applied for the job with Lagos address?
Anticipating your response, thanks. Tell ur friend dat firstbank will deploy her to ekiti with all pleasure ,all her subsequent forms in d academy should bear d ekiti address and during her career talk let her chip dat in too. And pls tell her to concentrate as she would need 75 percent in all 45 courses and it's no ewa. All d best |

Tydarl: The Tigris007 is a nauseating monkey, just ignore him. He is a sly disgusting person who in not so many words has asked those who haven't gotten Documentation or AC invite to move on, whilst employing useless words and reckless emojis to come off as helpful; as if he has any say or anything going for him. Ignore him abeg, his type meet their waterloo where they least expect. It's really disappointing and disturbing dat u guys ve dis sort of bile in u and pp re liking dis? U had to vomit urs despite all d please to shield swords? U guys knew urselves from home? It's really a pity. Regarding TS,dis year is tentative but keep ur fingers crossed. Regarding d accounting and finance, don't kid urself, its no beans and firstbank drops for real. U ve all d time now, look into financial accounting, management accounting, financial statements, accounting equation ratio analysis, financial markets, annuities and perpetuities etc. It's left to u wat u choose to do wit dis info and note: menstruation is allowed under it. Guys hold on till u get there. The se guys re doing a crash course that is y the classes re long. They were supposed to be there for 2months but is now bn squeezed into one month, monday to Saturday. Gt is 3months tho might be reduced to 2months. But Monday to Friday and ends 4pm.there isn't even time for recreational activities for them, cos d pool and court re currently under construction. Everyone will not be accommodated if Gt is more than 200. U can go out for two weeks or more if u want but classes or exams u would miss during dat period will not be taken again. Dress code is no issue, just dress corporately d way a banker should and Fridays dressings re relaxed ie smart casual. Keep ur but shorts and boxers for room matters. Concentrate and read cos pple re normally dropped. Food is usually 5star level with deserts including tea breaks, sometimes desert will be ice cream too. Keep calm and pray |

prettyboy5: I told you last week that you are very wrong on this your post and I promised to refer to your post again to prove you wrong soonest, success messages for documentation started coming out yesterday and according to you nothing would happen until AC was conducted, and your claim of taking up to another year for training school is also playing out as very wrong, oga this your reliable source na wa o If you guys don't know stuff don't say anything please, at least the other information guy- cloud9usher firstly said documentation would be in late august and later said it would be september and his information is almost accurate and not like you that came and gave us a very fake timeframe. Congrats to everyone o Hmmmm............I ll be back |

So my thought is that if the GT hopefuls don't get mails today then na till after their own four weeks o. Just speculating though. 25th |

shola87: Is this not the same guy who had a "reliable source " (probably temilola of HCMD) of TS being next year? ezze09 continue to reach out to the numbers attached to the mail sent to you and try to show up @first academy iganmu on Tuesday with adequate proof of the mail receipt. Someone already mentioned earlier that some people were not screened cos their names didn't enter the registration list. @shola87 I'm very sorry u didn't get d success mail, cos if u had u would ve seen th contact persons for lagos and I chose temilola cos dats a lady and might be more sympathetic. ezzo09: Thanks man. Now the worry is First Academy or head office? Because HCMD's office is in head office but the venue for the documentation was first academy! I don't know if they will be there on Tuesday. No worries, head to first academy first to see if anything is going on there, if not u proceed to d head office. Hang at d academy till 9/10am and ensure u ve everything |
