'I saw these awful photos of myself when I was on a trip in Mexico,' she said, 'I definitely was not in my best shape.' James Harden has agreed to the largest extension in NBA history, agreeing to a deal that will pay him $227.9 million over the next six seasons. The Houston Rockets have confirmed the signing. As a member of the NBA's All-NBA team this past season, Harden became eligible for a Designated Player Extension (DPE). Harden is still owed $58.7 million over the next two seasons. The extension will add four more years to the deal, with those four seasons worth a total of $169.2 million, according to Bobby Marks of ESPN, giving Harden's total deal an average annual value of $38.0 million. Harden's salaries in his new extension will start at $37.8 million and will grow by 8% each year, reaching $46.8 million in the 2022-23 season. Last week Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry signed a $201m (£154m) deal, according to his agent. Curry's five-year contract was at that point the richest in NBA history but Harden's contract is worth $27m (£21m) more. "Houston is home for me," said Harden in a statement released by the Rockets.

A student of Federal Government Girls College, FGGC, Langtang in Plateau State has been confirmed dead as a result of fresh outbreak of Lassa fever, the State Commissioner for Health, Kuden Kamshak confirmed. He added modality has been put in place to curtail its spread as the disease is not new to the State. Also, a statement issued yesterday after the burial of the deceased student and signed by Nkiruka Pedro-Iyalla, for the Exco of the School’s Old Girls’ Association said, “the student passed away at the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) on Saturday, 1st July, 2017 after showing symptoms of Typhoid Fever.” The Association which had been in close touch with the School authority added, “There were rumours of several other students also being ill with the same symptoms who were sent home. But this turns out to be incorrect as three other students were confirmed to be admitted at JUTH and are being treated for different ailments. “One of them was being treated for perforated intestine and has had surgery; the other fell and injured herself while the third is being managed for renal problems. Mr Magaji, a senior member of staff at the school, personally visited the family of the deceased and the girls being treated at JUTH over the weekend.” Meanwhile, the school Authority has taken steps to help forestall any major health outbreak as the resumption of students from Mid-term Break has been moved by 1 week. Instead of 2nd July, 2017, the students will be expected back on 9th July, 2017. All the water sources at the school have been treated and representatives of the Plateau State Water Board have taken samples for testing and fumigation of the entire school compound is ongoing and should be concluded today. The SS3 girls are currently in the school on Extension and so far, none of the girls is ill. The head nurse at the clinic has also confirmed that none of the SS3 students has reported any illness in the past two weeks. |

According to TMZ, she has bought the home of “The Devil Wears Prada” actress Emily Blunt and her husband and former “The Office” star John Krasinski. The couple, who are expecting their second child, are reportedly looking to move to the East Coast. Ms. Jenner also landed herself a discount for the 4,800-square-foot six bedroom home, as it was listed for $6.95 million, and that already represented a price cut from the original advertised $8 million figure back in January. The deal was to officially close Friday morning. The Jenners are no strangers to tony real estate transactions. Last month, the new homeowner’s younger sister and fellow “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star Kylie Jenner put her Mediterranean-style starter home in Calabasas on the market for $3.9 million. She originally bought it a year ago for $2.6 million. The younger Ms. Jenner, at just 18, will move into a new $6.025-million house in Hidden Hills, where many other celebrities, including Jennifer Lopez, Miley Cyrus and Jessica Simpson, have homes. Her sister, Kim Kardashian West, and husband Kanye West also have a home in the area.
