I owned Honda Civic 2008 and a corrola drivetrain based Pontiac vibe ... This is how I would summarizes my experience

Corolla: a car u pay higher amount for just so you can enjoy it easy to abuse benefits (20w50 oil, China parts, late oil change etc), an illusion of the best fuel economy and to please your neighbors would belive you made the best car purchase
decision, while compromising on other qualities, that makes a complete car.


Civic: a car with better fuel efficiency , almost as durable as corrola if you stick to manufacturers maintainace and fluid, 30% cheaper {I saved 300k on my civic compare to corolla up till now I for never used the money repair the car or buy fuel finish }, no leg pull {many people think it uses the same double wishbone suspension like accords} and better handling, colder ac, fancier interior
I bought a Nigerian used 08 civic. I can proudly beat my chest to say that is the best decision i have made in a long time. First body except for bumpers, the price is far cheaper than a Naija used Corolla.,

Tinubu remains the most powerful and influential politician and Nigerian alive and this is the reason why you can not stop writing, lamenting and crying over him everyday.

PDP was a bystander, a mare tool, a means to an end for Obaseki, what happened in Edo was an outcome of APC internal disagreements which they eventually will settle, reconcile and move on.

Amaechi played a role in the near outster of Oshiomole as APC chairman.
Amaechi and El Rufai belong to a rival clique in the APC.



Back to Rivers state; At some point in time Rivers State had 2 senators, about 4 Reps and 6 House of Assembly members.

This was all down to Amaechi. Amaechi did this singlehandedly.

Having such modest success for APC in the South South is actually a very big feat.
It's like a situation of PDP having such electoral success in a state like Kaduna or Katsina.

Amaechi did very well for APC in Rivers. Magnus Abe beat Olaka Nwogu to became a senator because of Amaechi. Singlehandedly too.

If the roles were reversed and Wike was in APC and Amaechi in PDP,
Wike could never achieve that feat under a very much hated and maligned APC in the South South region.
(This is for those who like to overrate Wike simply because Patience Jonathan and PDP gave him a platform.)



Back to the issue;

Then we had a gang of betrayers and backstabbers led by Magnus Abe.
Even the present guy who was just declared by the court Igo Aguma was a nobody when Amaechi hand picked him into the House of reps.

Today these people feel that they have grown up and made their balls and started fighting Amaechi.
Anyway the average rivers man is a greedy being.

These people do not want to subject themselves to the leadership of Amaechi under the guise that Amaechi wants to make it a one man party.

There is not a single state in Nigeria that this doesn't happen.

Even the Rivers PDP too is a one man party.

Wike runs rivers PDP like his kingdom.

All LGA chairmen, Senators, Assembly members, Party excos were all handpicked by Wike.

Yet these ungrateful elements in the Rivers state APC have gotten for themselves a dubious excuse to bite the finger that fed them!



Amaechi will prevail, and time will only tell.

I only wish that he could kuku leave this party for Magnus to do whatever he wants and let's see him win the Governorship and how many legislative seats he can squeeze out of Nyesom Wike.
