On 1 April 2016, the domain badcriminals.com (under the brand of TmzWorldstar.com) published an article reporting that an unnamed mother had admitted on Facebook to maintaining an affair with and becoming pregnant by her 15-year-old son:

A mother posted a status on Facebook saying she is having relations with her 15 Year old son and they also have a child together.

“For those who don’t know, me and my 15 year old son had a baby last year together. I had sex with him when he was 14 years old. The baby came out fine. Just to let you know, I also have three (3) daughters who are thirteen (13), fourteen (14), and sixteen (16).

My son is a great dad and also a great boyfriend to me. This all started when I realized that I started to get feelings for him I decided to have a one and one talk with him. I told him “mommy loves you more than what it means to just be a mommy to you”. I also told him that “mommy likes you just like how a girl from school likes you.

The claim was duplicated by similar outlets (such as Daily Media Buzz), but there was no truth to any version of the story. Both TmzWorldstar.com and Daily Media Buzz are fake news sites known for publishing so the above story is not verified

Leonid Rogozov, 27, was part of a 12 person expedition to Antarctica in 1961 and he was the only doctor. In March, the winter darkness set in on the polar wasteland, with constant storms and howling winds making it impossible for planes to fly; the ship that had delivered the expedition would not return for a year. In April, Rogozov realized he had the unmistakable signs of acute appendicitis and knew he would die if the appendix burst. He felt sure it would burst, and wrote in his journal that he couldn’t just fold his arms and die, so he knew he would have to take out his appendix himself.

He was very ill and had a high fever, but he knew he had to act quickly. So he had 2 expedition members act as his assistants, handing him tools, positioning the light and holding a mirror for him so that he could see what he was doing. The station director stood by to step in in case one of the assistants felt faint, which was a real possibility, as they looked whiter than their white surgical scrubs. Other than an injection of novocaine into his stomach, which dulled only the cut through his skin and fat, he had nothing for the pain so that he could keep a clear head.

He made the first cut, then, in excruciating pain, he cut through his peritoneum. Unfortunately, the mirror made things more difficult as he was seeing everything in reverse, causing him to make a costly mistake.

In an entry in his journal, “The bleeding is quite heavy, but I take my time… Opening the peritoneum, I injured the blind gut and had to sew it up,” Rogozov wrote. “I grow weaker and weaker, my head starts to spin. Every four to five minutes I rest for 20 – 25 seconds.” He decided the mirror was too dangerous, so he did the rest of the operation by touch.

“Finally here it is, the cursed appendage! With horror I notice the dark stain at its base. That means just a day longer and it would have burst… My heart seized up and noticeably slowed, my hands felt like rubber. Well, I thought, it’s going to end badly and all that was left was removing the appendix.”

Despite his fear that he would pass out, he pressed on, and finished putting in the last stitch two hours after making the first cut into his own abdomen. He didn’t stop until his assistants followed his instructions on how to wash and put away the instruments and made the room tidy again. Only then would he take some antibiotics and sleeping pills, and finally rest.

A 19 year old welder apprentice was caught yesterday August 19th after having se.x with a chicken at the Continental area of Akure, the Ondo state capital.

According to reports by Vanguard, the boy was discovered to have committed the act after the owner of the chicken, Mrs Stella Akintola, who is the boy’s neighbor and reared chickens in the compound, heard her chickens making noise inside their pen and decided to go and find out why they were restless.

When she got to her hen pen, the young man surfaced from a corner and said he had stomach upset and was on his way out of the compound toilet. Mrs Akintola not suspecting anything then moved to use the compound toilet where she discovered one of her chickens lying dead in the toilet.

When she tried to raise an alarm, the young man quickly appealed to her not to shout confessing that he was responsible for the chickens death and promised to replace the dead chicken. However when she examined the chicken with some of her neighbors, they discovered that the young man had actually had s.ex with the chicken until it died.

To test whether this doomsday scenario has any legs, the MythBusters subjected German cockroaches to three levels of radioactive metal cobalt 60. They started with a baseline exposure of 1,000 radon units (rads) of cobalt 60, capable of killing a person in 10 minutes, and followed it up with 10,000 and 100,000 rad exposures on separate guinea pig — er, roach — groups. (As a comparison, the bomb on Hiroshima emitted radioactive gamma rays at a strength of around 10,000 rads.)

Since radiation gradually destroys organisms on the cellular level, the MythBusters monitored the radiated roaches for 30 days. After a month, half the roaches exposed to 1,000 rads were still kicking, and a remarkable 10 percent of the 10,000 rad group was alive. The results confirmed that cockroaches can survive a nuclear explosion — but only to a point, as none of the critters in the 100,000 rad group made it through.

The ability of coackroaches to withstand nuclear attack comes down to the make up of their body cells. Cells are said to be most sensitive to radiation when they’re dividing. That’s why humans are more vulnerable — they have some cells that are constantly splitting up.

Roaches, on the other hand, only molt about once a week at most, which makes radiation’s window of opportunity to attack cells much narrower. But if the nuclear explosion was powerful enough, even these ancient critters couldn’t continue on.

There was pandemonium Benin on Okwanga Street around Uselu Quarters in Egor Local Government Area of Edo State on Tuesday after a 45-year-old man, identified as Osayande Ekhator, died ‎during a deliverance session in a Pentecostal church in the area. His Sister alleged he was murdered by the Pastors in the church.
It was gathered that the Ekhator had been taken to the church, Hope Ministry, also known as Holy Ghost Deliverance Centre, by his relatives on Monday, due to an undisclosed ailment.
It was, however, learnt that some residents heard a loud cry from the church and rushed there only to discover the lifeless body of the deceased in the church.

In the Fujian Province of China, a woman was seen dragging a man on a leash behind her as she took a walk down a busy street.



The unidentified man was seen crawling on all fours like a dog, obediently following the woman holding onto the leash. The woman was said to have even given him a pat or two on the head, like you would give an obedient dog.


Some stunned bystanders couldn’t help but call the attention of the police after the pair caused a traffic jam. The policemen reportedly pleaded with her to remove the leash so that normalcy could be returned to road users.

Assemblies Of God Church Deacon Survives 39 Bullets After Armed Robbery Incident


Assemblies of God Spring of Joy Assembly, Agric was agog with celebration on Sunday the 11th of September as the Church celebrated the greatness of God in delivering his servant Deacon Martins Nwaobaji. The people danced and praised the Lord and in one voice and agreement shouted “it could have only been God”

The Deacon gave his heart moving testimony, describing how men of the underworld broke into his compound and robbing the innocent people therein, they didn’t fail to break into his own apartment and before he knew it the robber had released 39 bullet shrapnels which scattered all over his face. Miraculously none got into his eyes, neck or any vital part of his body… they only hit the non vital part of his face and were skin deep. Deacon Simon Nwaobaji has since recovered as he has gone through many corrective surgeries and is very much alive and well to the shame of the devil and to the glory of God.

In the man’s words “I am glad to be alive and blessed to still be in the land of the living. The enemy made an attack on my life but God who is above all has shielded me. I survived 39 bullets to my face and head which is purely a miracle, I would worship God forever because he has shown me great and mighty things”

10. South Sudan

This is the youngest country in the world having attained its independence as recently as 2011. It was all joy and cheers when they seceded from Sudan but all this was all short lived when the reality that they had a government to run and infrastructure to build set in. It lacked proper government structures and those in power took advantage of this to exploit the countries resources to their benefit. Eritrea is located just across the Red Sea bordering Djibouti to the right. This country had isolated itself from the rest of the world and it is only recently that it has opened its doors to the foreign world. This has led to increased commercial activities in the country because its shores act as transit for goods from other parts of the world. Corrupt government officials saw this as a chance to enrich themselves as many of Eritreans are new to Foreign trade. Eritrea is therefore one of the most corrupt countries in the world.

Libya was ruled by Colonel Muammar Gaddafi for over 40 years. He was ousted from power as a result of popular uprising and this created a power vacuum in this oil rich nation. The rebels took charge of the country and their first order of business was to enrich themselves. The way this works is that moderate noise levels increase processing difficulty which promotes abstract processing, leading to higher creativity. In other words, when we struggle (just enough) to process things as we normally would, we resort to more creative approaches.
In high noise levels, however, our creative thinking is impaired because we’re overwhelmed and struggle to process information efficiently.

This is very similar to how temperature and lighting can affect our productivity, where paradoxically a slightly more crowded place can be beneficial.

Since the invention of the telephone different uses for the phone has been seen and am sure that we are yet to see more. I remember the first time that the GSM got to the shores of Nigeria; a lot of funny things happened, infact at a point the handset was termed GENERAL STREET MADNESS because of the funny things that happened when people used the GSM. However, today the days of the GSM is far gone, now we have Android phones, Apple phones, Windows phones but one thing that didn’t go with the handset was still the term (General Street Madness) especially amongst our ladies. There are somethings that the ladies do with their phones that are out of the ordinary. I would list some of them.

1. USING THEIR PHONES AS A MATCHING OUTFIT:: Ever gone to Slot and you see a girl desperately looking for a particular kind of phones color? Or looking for a blue pouch, Gucci pouch or Luis Vuitton pouch? This could just be because they have a Luis Vuitton bag that they want to “rock” with the phone. It’s funny how our ladies has turned the phone, which is supposed to be a machine for communication to an Outfit.

2. FOR SHOW-OFF: I know so many girls who flaunts Iphone6 who don’t know half the functionality of the IPhone. You may ask what the hell they bought it for? The answer is… For show! They just want to be amongst the happening girls who have the IPhone6.

3. AS A MIRROR: No need for mirrors any longer as long as there are Phones. Nowadays girls use phones for mirrors. I was at an event and a girl walked up to me and said “can i use your phone?” I thought she wanted to browse or make a call so I humbly obliged and gave her the phone, to my surprise she started using the phone to check out her face….. I was really taken by surprise, are phones now used as a mirror? Seems our ladies want to take those selling mirrors out of business.

Okoli said he wants to use the contest to re-enact the feat of Prophet Elijah who, on Mount Carmel, called down fire from heaven, a feat the prophets of Baal could not perform. Okoli said he intends to prove to witches that the God that did that got his Prophet Elijah was still on the throne and that he changes not.
“For a long time now, a lot of people believe in occultism, charms, witchcraft, wizardry and all sorts of satanic manipulation instead of believing in the Almighty God. I want to use the opportunity of the contest to demonstrate to the people of this generation which is supreme, God or all those witches, occultists, and all their likes. I want to assert which way is the way of life. Then, there is need for contest to determine who is supreme. The battle will take place between 12 noon and 1 pm on December 25, 2016 at Gospel City, Nnobi, Anambra State. Apostle Okoli who took a swipe at Igbo nation for allegedly making the name of Almighty God of non-effect said that evil spirits have possessed lot of things the Igbos do on daily basis and there is need for drastic change for God’s plan for the people to materialize.
“We take orders from devil, Igbo’s are used to obeying shrines. You can see a professor sitting in front of idols, yet they made Igbos to believe they are serving Almighty God. The issue of Christianity has been muddled up. Most bishops, General Overseers, Pastors are occultists, two-third of people who claim to be Christians may not be Christians after all” He averred.

About half of adults yawn after someone else yawns due to a universal phenomenon called “contagious yawning.” Contrary to popular belief, a new study from Duke University suggests that contagious yawning is not strongly related to variables like empathy, tiredness, or energy levels.

Previous studies have suggested that there is a connection between contagious yawning and empathy. However, researchers at The Duke Center for Human Genome Variation found that contagious yawning may decrease as people age and may not be associated with empathy.
The lack of association in our study between contagious yawning and empathy suggests that contagious yawning is not simply a product of one’s capacity for empathy,” said study author Elizabeth Cirulli, Ph.D., assistant professor of medicine at the Center for Human Genome Variation at Duke University School of Medicine. The researchers emphasized that a better understanding of the biology involved in contagious yawning could ultimately lead to a better understanding of illnesses such as schizophrenia and autism.

The presidency has lamented how huge debts the previous administration landed Nigeria where it was before it exited from the Paris Club debt.
President Muhammadu Buhari’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, stated this in an article titled “what is the President Buhari doing with the Economy?”, made available to reporters in Abuja on the 2nd of September
He said the previous government of President Goodluck Jonathan borrowed heavily, ending up owing contractors and international oil companies.

The presidential spokesman argued that instead of blaming Buhari for the pains Nigerians are currently passing through, critics should forward their blames in the right direction. Shehu added that despite the huge borrowings, government in the last 10 years did not invest in critical infrastructure that would assist in sustaining the downturn in global prices of oil today. He was of the view that in order to correct the wrong, the present administration was working to increase spending on capital projects especially on infrastructure that is required to make Nigerian businesses competitive and create jobs.

Besides, the Federal Government is also blocking leakages that allowed government revenues be siphoned into private hands, he pointed out.
“currently there if focus on key sectors(apart from oil) that can create jobs and or generate revenue such as Agriculture, Solid minerals and manufacturing. If these things had been done when the oil price was as high as 140 US dollars per barrel, Nigeria would not be in the current predicament.
We would not be suffering now if we had no cash reserves but we had regular supply of Powe, a good rail system, good roads and housing. Now that the oil has fallen as low as US$28 per barrel, it is very difficult to do what is needed but they have to be done to save Nigeria. There is no other way if we want to be honest"Shehu stressed
