The other things you added there like the woman trying to also be financially independent was just a plot by you to sound reasonable. You've finally spilled the true contents of your heart. News flash. 90% of you reading this would not make it in music! … Lol, I know I’ve scared some of you… But that is truth depending on what your definition of “music” is. If your definition is being the superstar, whizkid, Davido, John Legend, angelique kidjo, Donnie mclurkin then the assertion that 90% of you will fail is definitely correct.

However, music isn’t just that,there is a business to music.

The Business of music is far more wider and complex than just being a recording artiste and going on to become a big super star. Fact is, even if you are a recording artiste and you know nothing about music business.. Chances are you’d definitely fail.

Finally, Some of you aren’t made to be on that stage! Boom!!! Another heart breaker. However it’s true but that shouldn’t dash your dreams of still being an active part of the thriving industry cos there are tons of things you could do in the music industry that doesn’t involve you being an Artiste.. What are those things? We’d look at them on our next post.
