For me, I would rather say that after the creation of Adam and Eve, other human creations remain a mystery. There was possibility of Adam and Eve having many kids especially girls after the birth of Abel. But it was obvious that human production rate then was spectacular.

Okay, lets reason together. You see, it is not everything that's recorded in the bible, i.e, the day to day activities of bible's characters. This style of writing is not only common in the bible, but also in the literatures of the world. Why? Here, "Now there are also many other things that Jesus did. Were EVERY ONE of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written"- John 21:25. That's it! If the world itself cannot contain just Jesus ministry alone, how much more detailing every thing about creation?

Now, the point I'm trying to make is this. In Genesis 4:1, Cain is born. The very next verse, Abel is born too. The point: after Cain was born, definitely, a lot of time has passed before Abel was born! Also note that it is in verse 1 that Adam knew his wife, and it is still in that verse that she bare Cain. So at least you should know that nine months has passed since Adam knew his wife before she bare Cain!

Coming down to verse 14, certainly, a lot of years has passed before Cain slew his brother, judging from the fact that one was a farmer and the other, a shepherd. That means they were adults who could take responsibilities!

So, it is very much possible and likely that at this stage of their lives, their parents may have already produce other children in order to be "fruitful and multiply". I hope this helps?

God bless you, I was going to ask if Bayelsa is the only oil producing state in the country? Why are others from Edo to Ondo to Delta, Rivers, Imo, Abia, Cross rivers not as chronically lazy and demanding as Bayelsans?
What does their governor, their chiefs and warlords do with all the billions they get on behalf of the few Bayelsans who live there?
What is the less than 2 million population of Bayelsa vs the billions she gets?
Akwa Ibom and Rivers state are the biggest oil producers, with bigger population and they have tangibles to show for it and they go beyond oil, the peoples are relentlessly resourceful.

But, in fairness, I hardly see people from those 2 states complaining or causing havoc to the detriment of their states. Besides, both Akwa-ibom and Cross River state had used money gained from the oil producing states sharing to developed their states to a world class states. What a beautiful cities will have both in Uyo and Calabar. So, Mr. Dickson, it's never too late. As a leader, you need to utilise the little (which is big though according to the sharing formula) given to you to build and create jobs for your subjects.

The power of praise

The Bible says: “About midnight Paul and Silas were…singing hymns to God…Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prisons were shaken…all the prison doors flew open, and everybody’s chains came loose” (vv. 25-26 NIV). Praise opens doors. Praise breaks chains. Any time you praise God in spite of the circumstances, the forces of heaven come to your aid. You say, “But sometimes I don’t feel like praising God.” The Psalmist wrote, “I will bless the Lord at all times” (Ps 34:1 NKJV). Sometimes praise is an emotional response to God’s goodness; other times it’s an act of your will. Anybody can praise God in the good times. But when you have to rise above your feelings and your circumstances, that’s when it really counts. The battle of Jericho teaches us that sometimes you have to shout God’s praise when: (1) You are up against a brick wall. (2) It feels like you’re going in circles. (3) Your circumstances seem to mock you. (4) Your rational mind thinks, “This plan doesn’t make any sense.” (5) It’s the last thing you feel like doing. But when you praise God anyway, you discover the truth of Nehemiah’s words: “The joy of the Lord [the joy that comes from knowing He is present with you and has gone before you to work things out in your favor] is your strength” (Ne 8:10 AMP). When you’re ruled by circumstances and emotions you live on a rollercoaster. But if you look to the Lord of your circumstances and praise Him, you move from weakness to strength.

May his gentle soul rest in peace. But for his killer(s).... remember, what goes around, always come around in life. you guys can run, but you cannot hide from the face of the Lord.
