Tuesday September 1 “Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.” Pr 16:3 NLT Never, Never Quit! The moment you start believing you’re successful enough to rest on your laurels, you’re in trouble. You’ve put a lid on your growth! Solomon wrote, “Do you know a hard-working man? He shall be successful and stand before kings!” (Pr 22:29 TLB). Success is always a possibility, but never a guarantee. It belongs to the man or woman who’s willing to show up early, stay late, go the extra mile, and keep asking, “Is there a better way?” An agency once created an ad for an automobile company. It said, “At sixty miles an hour the loudest noise in this new Rolls-Royce comes from the electric clock.” When they ran the ad by the company’s CEO, he smiled and said, “I guess we’ve got to do something about that clock!” A young man once asked Henry Ford, “How can I make a name for myself and be successful?” He replied, “Decide what you want, then stick with it. Never deviate from your course no matter how long it takes or how hard the road, until you’ve accomplished your purpose.” Successful people have one thing in common: They refuse to quit! No matter how many times they fall, they get back up, dust themselves off, learn from it, and start over. Paul J. Meyer says, “Ninety-nine percent of those who fail are not actually defeated, they simply quit.” The Bible says, “To win…you must deny yourselves…things that…keep you from doing your best” (1Co 9:25 TLB). The only people who never fail are those who never try. So keep going, and don't even think about quitting! |

But I'm utterly disturbed on why the people should be mourning about whom the President feel comfortable to work with, rather than to satisfy the people by choosing from their region. And come to think of it, has any of those idiots that were giving appointments in the past were able to help their clans, local govt, regions & states before? I would like someone to tell me what benefit did the likes of Fani Kayode, Allison Madueke, Stella Odua and others were to their region? Were they giving scholarship? Do they have any foundations for the people? Were they concern about the orphans and the widows? Do they ever think of the old among them then? I was so upset the day I saw the pictures of the General Hospital @ Otukpo which happens to be the home of the former senate president. For Christ sake, David Mark has been in the government for as long as late 80s, what has he done for his people? Nothing, except displaying their wealth around. Let's all stop crying wolf, let Buhari choose anyone that he feels he can run the government well with him. Each states has their governors and local govts, I think that should be enough for the people to monitor their welfare in their region. We should stop depending much on the federal government. Let every states go back to what they can do best to maximise their revenue. Agriculture, Solid minerals, and other commodities are there for us to explore instead of waiting for the oil money from the Federal government. For me, I think most of the people crying for appointment for the kingsmen are people that are looking forward to benefit anything from them. Let's support the present government to re-shape things for us, and we should also be ready to work and assist whosoever he appoints to help build this country without prejudices. Long live Federal Republic of Nigeria. |
It is obvious that not all the hardship in the country is created by the government, but mostly by our youth. While some youths are winning awards and medals for Nigeria from abroad, here are some of them wasting their future away. When asked to go to school, or go and learn a trade, some of this guys displayed above will refused only to be lazy around. But I have a word for you guys and others out there, no parent, no government or anyone can help you build your future, you can only do that by yourself, and if you fail to do that, when the hand of the law catches up with you, you will have yourself to blame for it. And if you allow one godfather to ruin it for you....., well, goodluck. A word is enough. ![]() |
Yes, got the messages on both MTN and Glo. Will find time to visit the 2 of them sha. |

Let Ambode continue on this trend. it's sure he will not achieve 1/2 of what Fashola did in Lagos state. It is obvious that Ambode is playing to the tune played out to him by Tinubu. But sooner, Ambode will loose popularity with the Lagoosian and his second term in the office will be dash away. Lagosians are not dump, Ambode only won the seat of Lagos state because of Fashola achievement, but now that he is out there to bite the fingers that feed him, then, good luck. |

The affairs of this NDDC needs to be properly monitored. The amount of money sinking in that region is much, and yet, nothing can be show for it. Even during the jonathan era, the man did try much to re-develop the region, but the NDDC management did not allow all his efforts to seen. Haba! Kilode? ![]() |
Damn too lucky. This driver don't need to be told that he needs to give a Thanksgiving at the church tomorrow, with plenty of rice and chicken for the congregation. Man, i'm so happy for you. |

Stevenet Mk Bobs WARNING: New Deadly Disease Worse than HIV that Condoms Can’t Stop! It’s called the newest “sex superbug” and many people will die because of it. An antibiotic resistant strain of gonorrhea has hit the United States and is now considered a superbug. Analysts say that the bacteria’s effects could be worse than those of HIV – AIDS. “This might be a lot worse than AIDS in the short run because the bacteria is more aggressive and will affect more people quickly,” said Alan Christiansen, a doctor of naturopathic medicine. Even though nearly 30 million people have died from AIDS-related causes worldwide, Christensen believes the effect of the gonorrhea bacteria is more direct. “Getting gonorrhea from this strain puts someone into septic shock and death in a matter of days,” Christiansen said. “This is very dangerous. It can be passed through skin on skin contact, making condoms only 30% effective.” “It’s an emergency situation,” said William Smith, executive director of the National Coalition of STD Directors. “As time moves on, it’s getting more dangerous. We are losing more lives.” This gonorrhea strand, HO41, was discovered in Japan two years ago in a 31-year-old female sex worker who had been screened in 2009. The bacteria has since been found in 41 U.S. States, and Norway. There have already been 5,126 reported deaths since its discovery in 2013. “We have to keep beating the drum on this,” said Smith. “The potential for disaster is great.” Share The News!

This thread has turn to something else, 'cause I didn't see anyone talking about the topic at all. Anyway, I think trust played a vital role in friendship, which will eventually lead to marriage. My little contribution sha. |

In all honesty, I'm so tired with this two network. If Glo is not calling you with 081 numbers, MTN will be sending a text messages at an interval of say 15 to 20 minutes interval from 35020 or 631 or some stupid other advertising company, that will continuously running my battery off. What is the NCC or whatever that regulatory body doing about this nuisance disturbances from all this network? Come to think about the stupid Glo network calling my number with 081.... number, and I picked the call in the hope for a business transaction deal, and they will start singing or making advertisement, then later charged me for picking the call. God knows i'm so upset with this 2 network. Can somebody tell me about Airtel and Etisalat? Thinking of porting to other network. |
Thank you OP. God bless you. I honestly hope some parent will start teaching their wards the real value of life. Children/wards learn how to survive on your own...., think about the orphans or the kids at the orphanage. |
14:I totally support your point. And I'm pretty sure that President Buhari will encourage investors from the foreign countries, especially, from the western world. No country will prosper without the contribution of a foreigner in their economy. |
MyMouth:oh, really? ![]() |
So, after leaving office, this man is still clueless as ever? Eeyah! ![]() |
MyMouth:It does happen like that sometime Bros. In the UK, the Jews, Arabs dominated their business. America as well, the Jews, Italian and others bring in the investment. All that matters is money, investment and employment to come into the system, and that will create jobs for the youths and also help to drive the economy. We need more foreign investors, if Nigerian looters like, let them go and bury their wealth in the grave. |
Abbycite:One going on @ Toll-gate, beside Gateway Hotel, Sango-Ota. |
shikshark:A bi ooo. Soon, TESCO will follow suit when they observer that the Nigeria environment is business friendly. "Every little helps" ![]() |
