@ Wittytraveller, your info is partly correct and partly incorrect, while the NERC has plans to conclude the recruitment process soon and move to their permanent site, they have not call any candidate for the NERC interview (HQ). Infact I have it on good authority they are yet to receive the report from Restral, I was in the nerc on 24th and a call was placed to the Restral they said they will submit their report in January 2015, and someone said d delay by Restral to submit the report may be due to the inability of Nerc to pay Restral fully and that may be d reason why Restral are still holding d report cos they have since finished compiling the report of all the interview done by them. Nobody is painting anyone black mister, you shouldn't be quick to dismiss someone else's claims just like that. I decided to speak out when i saw the above post. Although, i quite agree with you on the one wearing medicated glasses whom i noticed was taken aback by his other colleague who wanted influencing him not to ask questions. He seemed fair to me. He can be reported, you are a graduate and you have no reason to fear. Am told the guy wears medicated goggles and is the boss among the two. I have told my brother to write a petition because the guy practically walked out on him.

Bros on d contrary I have had interviews with restral and with the supposed man and truth be told he is a fair interviewer who even at a point helped me answer questions other members of d panel asked.

I didn't know him from anywhere but I noticed that when the interview started even though he was brash and jumped into my answers...I kept my cool and kept on answering correctly...I think that made him warm up to me...

At the end he was the one giving me pointers on what to read up when I get to NERC stage of d interview..

So he aint such a bad guy as u guys paint him as...he's jst doing his job

The interviews are running into mid November and some even as far as late November, remember that Restral is only just short listing (Re feral) candidates they assume will be qualified for the jobs. I believe NERC will be responsible for the final selection. If my view point is accurate, then a December conclusion seems unlikely.
Also, government usually takes it time with things like this. all other Federal Parastatals and Commissions equally take almost a year or more to conclude recruitment exercises.
I am also speculating the fort coming general elections may possibly stall this process a bit. Am not certain about any of the arguments I have suggested but my thoughts only. Please any confirmation that they will conclude by December?

Brother based on dis your arguement that means we dat are for the zonal posts will be waiting for close to 3 yrs to conclude our own process..

D lenght is a factor of how much you keep them engaged and how interested they are in your presentations.

I knw someone that spent 30mins plus bt d next person after him barely made 10mins

nnacent: I jst came out of the interview hall. The long and short is...jst have a firm grip on all you need to knw. The question come in a "bokoharamish" fashion, all job related. The panelist hardly give u a chance to "shine" before dey throw the next question. Last, last i believe i will b successful

Finished my interview some hrs ago... Very technical...be confident and knw to d letter wat is expected of u and d value u bring to nerc.. Its dat serious...no room for stammering .. Be concise and to d point..

One thing you did not consider are the results from the Zonal test. If NERC 'decides' that the test score does not meet its standard (very unlikely as this is Nigeria), it might decide to cull candidates from the Zonal applicants to the Head Office (though also unlikely).
Therefore, if the result of the HO test is generally poor and that of the Zonal test is good (I believe it was), who is to say the the chances of the HO applicants will not be hampered.
Kindly note that this is a conjecture and is therefore my opinion, not fact. The lesson is that we should always strive to do well at any time, after all anything worth doing at all is worth doing well.

You r like a soothsayer bros....unconfirmed info is that some zonal candidates where picked for hq posts while other interviews where conducted earlier this month to fill some spaces at the zonal posts...anyhow like I said unconfirmed though I knw some ppl who went for interviews this month

Given the fact that the Zonal Update NERC recruitment you created has disappeared due to the data loss, Kindly create a new one so that we can allow the Head Office recruitment applicants to continue using this thread.
