I have said it on many foras.
If Nigeria is ever going to get it right politically , it is going to happen in spite of the south east rather than because of the South East
When did it become a crime to trace back how we got to this point . Whether 5 yrs , 10 yrs or 100 years?
The crime itself is when you refuse to look forward and continue to trace backwards.

When a conference (with most of d ministers der) had to be held to tell people of the importance of his trips, they r really over working to defend him..... It's not easy.

It's like having a boss who misbehaves but u hv to make him look good to d board of directors.
Seriously, cos they understand how funny they sound even to themselves each time they make those defenses

A mere meeting among who? Arthur zee and the new kid on the block from Ife translates to brotherhood? That brotherhood first died when Zik was rigged out in 1965, then died a 2nd time when Awo took a position with Fulani establishment to kill and starve the East, and then died a third time when Jona, an Ijaw man, was betrayed by the same region. So for the East and Midwest, that brother hood with Yoruba politically is only by mouth. Na for a beer, that's another story
No doubt bad blood exists between both tribes but it's mostly online, check out the no of inter marriages among the two tribes and compare with other tribes.

Igbos and Yorubas record the highest no of inter tribal marriages unlike any other ethnic groups in the country.

I look at how much we fight here online and I just ask myself, for how long?

I believe that statement of hers was actually meant for Mr common sense that is not common to respond to..

As Mr common sense was positing that Arik air are wat wat and should be patronized cos they are indigenously owned..

Truth be told.. I don't see Mr common sense ruling us... As he seems to have forgotten that the streets run things.. Streets no dey fly plane Buh yet we dey fly and we determine who rules us and who doesn't..

We are still complaining bout the globetrotters excesses, who knows what Mr twitter would do if giving the chance to be in the same position..

First of all... I beseech anybody from his (Mr common senses) home community to come forth and beat his chest and say out loud what Mr common sense has done for them or is doing for them...

Cos to me.. All the people we have in positions of power are pure and refined noise makers..

How would someone who just sits in a chair once a week or so, to shout nay and aye only, be earning monies dat they themselves wouldn't allow their respective employees earn for doing same thing they are are doing..

Truth be told.. Our political leaders are our servants.. . Quote me anywhere..

Are they not been paid by our own monies via tax and wat wat.. And yet we the bosses are still been treated as servants and yet we pay them monthly basic plus allowances...

This country's framework is sick in the head..

Let's tell ourselves the truth cos only then can we be truly free..

Apart from Imo , mention another place u see Oba Yoruba. And i bet u whatever reverence he enjoys from d Yorubas is based on his personal leadership quality. And it can never b like the way the Ibo are going abt dia Eze Ndigbo stuff. Almost getting to the level of agitating for autonomy in anothers man territory. Nobody, i say nobody can do that in Ibo land. Go to Ibo states and see if u can point to any reasonable number of people from other tribes who succeeds in business in Ibo land.
Just say what you know bros, our Yoruba community has an Oba in Enugu and he is seen as a great voice and influence among the people.

...and you think the Oba is reverred as a result of his leadership qualities while his Igbo counterpart has no leadership quality.
Stop sounding so unintelligible

The question is not bathing your child, it's being in the same bath tub wiht out cloths with your child.

For me I'm not sure it's ideal unless only during the early period of childhood when the child's sense of recognition is still developing.
CrimeRe: Man Strips Half Unclad In GT Bank Afta Money Vanished 4rm His Account(Pic,Video by Bugatie(m): 2:17pm On Feb 18, 2016
jonhemma11:
A Facebook user yesterday published a disturbing video of a Nigerian man who stripped to his underwear in a GT Bank hall.

Allegedly, money was withdrawn from the customer’s account which he claims he didn’t take, and upset by this, the frustrated man stripped and threw himself on the floor, yelling in Yoruba, “give me my money”

It is unclear which branch of the multinational bank the scene occurred, but the account form held by one of the witnesses in the clip, and the bank control queue barrier, clearly shows that this happened within the bank premises.

GT Bank is yet to address this.

You can watch the clip here:

Nigeria lacking storage or proccesing facilities for farm produce .. That's why you have a season for different food in Nigeria which suppose not to be so. A well proccesed or preserved food should last all year round without having a season where it becomes scarce of too much that it goes to waste like this.

And for the record.. You are nothing but hypocrite ..

By JUMI RHODES
Since the investigation into the $2.1billion arms deal blew open, big shots in the Goodluck Jonathan-led administration are being interrogated almost on a daily basis. The arrowhead of this scandal is the former National Security Adviser (NSA), Col. Sambo Dasuki(retd.) who has been in detention since December 2015. Though the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) has said Goodluck Jonathan can only be summoned on President Muhammadu Buhari’s directive, there are indications that with the recent arrest of the former president’s ex-aides, he(Jonathan) may be invited by the anti-graft agency. It is worthy of note that a lot of Nigerians are of the view that only God can save Goodluck Jonathan from being prosecuted! In no particular order, Dawn-To-Dusk News who can directly or indirectly influence the decision of EFCC on Goodluck Jonathan.
1. President Muhammadu Buhari
2. Gen. Olusegun Obasanjo(retd.) - Former Head of State/President
3. Gen. Ibrahim Babangida(retd.) - Former Head of State
4. Gen. Theophilus Danjuma(retd.) - Former Minister of Defence
5. Mr. Ahmed Joda - 86-year-old Super Permanent Secretary in the 1960s
6. Prof. Tam David-West - Former Minister of Petroleum
7. HRH Alhaji Umar Faruk - Emir of Daura {Buhari's hometown in Katsina State}
8. Chief Audu Ogbeh - Minister of Agriculture; Former PDP national chairman
9. Justice Umar Abdullahi - Former President of the Court of Appeal; President Buhari's classmate/close friend
10. His Eminence Sa'ad Abubakar III - Sultan of Sokoto; Spiritual Leader of Muslims in Nigeria
11. Prof. Itse Sagay - Chairman, Presidential Anti-corruption Advisory Committee

Today the dollar exchanges at #318 for the Naira,
Businesses are finding it more expensive and difficult to continue their business in the country, others closing down, disengaging or right sizing their staff and all a president can do is dwell on phanthom anti corruption jamboree, junketing from one country to another.

Instead of maning up and taking responsibility for a mandate he so asked for(...and who says we can't move forward as a country even with the supposed anti corruption campaign on going?).

Jonathan needs no saving bros, ask your President to rescue and save his economy first!
