These scorned spouses who go about pouring acid on their exes really need to learn to move on. People get dumped all the time, and if all of us spurned souls decided to retaliate humanity would go extinct in a minute.

A 37 year old driver who poured acid on his wife for dumping him has been arrested by police in Teshie.

The suspect, Yaw Frimpong, reportedly got furious after his wife of fourteen years decided to up and leave the marriage.

According to Graphic Online, his wife , Joyce , packed her stuff and carried her three children out of the house after a misunderstanding between the two of them.

Frimpong thus tracked the movement of his wife , and poured acid on her when she was coming out her cosmetic shop in Teshie.

She suffered injuries on the right side of her head and neck, also sustained severe burns on her hands and chest. Her cries for help attracted residents who took her to hospital.

Frimpong went into hiding, but has now been arrested by Police who would arraign him before court.

The APC through its national publicity secretary has denied insinuations by the PDP that the Ag. DG of the SSS, Mallam Duara is a member of the APC and held positions during the Presidential Campaign for the APC.
He said this on a program on Raypower FM ,political platform this morning. He also said that the SSS DG is not related to the President.

In a swift reaction, Olisah Metuh who also spoke on phone said that the statement of Lia Mohammed is a complete lie and threatened that the PDP would come up with proves should the APC make a formal statement on the matter.
The PDP spokesman who input was cut short by low credit said that Mallam Duara is a BLOOD relation to the President and that the PDP would continue to speak against it.
The panel advised and encouraged the PDP to come up with proves and not wait for the APC to make a statement because 'he who asserts must prove'.

Former spokesperson to President Muhammadu Buhari during the 2011 presidential election, Mr. Yinka Odumakin, has said he would not work with his former principal, President Buhari even if he gets appointed.
Mr. Yinka Odumakin, who is the National Publicity Secretary of pan-Yoruba socio-cultural organisation, Afenifere, stated this in an interview with Vanguard newspaper.


“I did not support the party (APC) during their campaign, I am not an opportunist, it would amount to opportunism. Some of us are principled enough to know what is right and what is wrong. I cannot do that for any reason” Odumakin said when asked if he would accept an offer to serve in the Buhari government.

He added that he has no regrets supporting former President Goodluck Jonathan in the last general elections and asked Nigerians to give president Buhari time, stressing that it is too early to judge his former boss.


“I think it will be unfair for me to come to conclusions about an administration that is just over 40 days in office. Let us allow him some more time,” he said.

A new head of the multinational force on Boko Haram has been appointed.

The appointment was necessary because the former head, Brig-Gen. T. Y. Buratai, was appointed as the Chief of Army Staff by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The multinational force has its headquarters at the Chadian capital, N’Djamena.
