Nigeria now Africa’s vast crime scene under corrupt, lazy Buhari: Economist

“When violence erupts, the government does nothing or cracks heads almost indiscriminately,” the paper said.

HILLARY ESSIEN • OCTOBER 21, 2021

Nigeria under President Muhammadu Buhari has become a crime scene of destructive magnitude on the African continent, The Economist said in its latest issue.

The London publication said terrorists and armed bandits are running wild because Mr Buhari is corrupt and lazy, failing to do anything but render lip service following every deadly attack.

“When violence erupts, the government does nothing or cracks heads almost indiscriminately,” the paper said. It also lamented how Mr Buhari worsened the country’s economy, plunging millions into poverty.

“Economic troubles are compounded by a government that is inept and heavy-handed,” the paper said in its October 23 issue that has already been published online today.

“Mr Buhari, who was elected in 2015, turned an oil shock into a recession by propping up the naira and barring many imports in the hope this would spur domestic production. Instead he sent annual food inflation soaring above 20%.

“He has failed to curb corruption, which breeds resentment. Many Nigerians are furious that they see so little benefit from the country’s billions of petrodollars, much of which their rulers have squandered or stolen,” the paper said.

The paper said Nigeria’s insecurity could be curbed if Mr Buhari could focus on the nation’s unemployment crisis by cutting government waste, amidst other practical economic measures.

The Economist endorsed Mr Buhari for election in 2015, arguing that the former military ruler will do better than Goodluck Jonathan, whom the paper described at the time as an ineffectual buffoon.

The paper has since become critical of the Nigerian leader, after his administration became enveloped by frequent economic and security crises.

A spokesman for the president did not return a request seeking comments. But Mr Buhari has vigorously defended his economic policies as the best for the country at the moment, saying the country could have been in a much worse situation if not for his measures.

The president also said he has been having sleepless nights about insecurity, saying he has ordered the military to be ruthless against armed bandits and terrorists operating across the northern parts of the country.

7 FATAL DELUSIONS AMONG SOUTHERNERS

by

Moses Oludele Idowu

"A great deal of intelligence can be invested in ignorance when the need for illusion is deep."
- Saul Bellow

A delusion is a serious thing. It is worse than deception and much more fatal in its consequences.
The word delusion comes from the Latin word _delusio_- which means "a false belief that is resistant to confrontation with actual facts."
That is the best definition of delusion that I can find.

Let me give one major example of delusion in History and the fatal consequences it brought.
During the invasion of Palestine by the Roman Army under Titus in 68 A.D the Jews succumbed to delusion that proved to be fatal.
After resisting the Romans stoutly for two years the siege finally succeeded in 70 A.D when the Roman legions poured in to deal with this troublous race. By now there was no more food and as Josephus, the famous Jewish historian narrated even people were eating raw grass or anything they could find. Still they refused to surrender and fought on defending their Holy City and most especially their Holy Temple.
By now the Christians, the Sect of the Nazarene, as they were called had deserted knowing that Christ had already prophesied this thing must come to pass - thus causing the eternal distrust and rift which still exists between Jews and Christian relations till today. But the Jewish patriots and nationalists fought on to the last and to their ruin.
It was here the major fatal delusion was enacted.
The Roman soldiers now inside the battle now finally shifted to the Temple. Believing that the God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob; the God of the holy prophets, Moses and Elijah would save the Temple and even them and remember His Covenant with their fathers many ran into the Temple as shield.
But the day of the Temple has gone. A new Dispensation had dawn where God no longer dwells in physical temples but in living temples built with living stones, a house made without hands. He now lives in humans created in His Own Image. Thus rushing to the Temple for salvation before the Romans was a delusion, a fatal delusion.
It was here most Jews perished defending the Temple and using it as a defense. The Romans slaughtered on and set the Temple ablaze. They expected God to show up and defend His Temple but He didn't because the nation herself had committed sins by crucifying an innocent person and the day of revenge had come. Looking to the Temple for protection was a delusion.
Today a gargantuan mosque stands around the very spot where that Temple once stood.

I have prefaced this essay with this story because it seems people rarely learn from History. It seems to me that another group of people are about to suffer very soon as a result of grand delusions - false beliefs that are resistant to confrontation with facts. And most Southerners presently suffer from these delusions.
They are seven in all and I will briefly go over them because of time and space.

1. THAT BRITAIN WILL INTERVENE IN NIGERIA OR RESTRAIN MUHAMMADU BUHARI

The first delusion is that Britain, that treacherous nation called Britain will intervene in Nigeria and help us in anyway.
When the National Christian Elders Forum wrote to British Parliament I noted this in an article. It is a mistake to.think or expect that Britain will enter Nigeria or intervene in any way that will help the South against the North. It won't happen.
To think that Britain or the British will come here to help the South is a delusion.
They wont.
British design originally is that the North will rule and dominate the South not vice versa. Their sympathy was and still is with the North not the South. If you dont know this then you don't know much about Nigerian History or you probably forgot what you learned. Thus I consider it a mistake to report Buhari to Britain. It is like reporting the Italian Brigades to the Bader Meinoff gang or reporting the Hamas of Palestine to the Hezbollah of Lebanon.
It is a waste of time.

2. THAT THE UNITED STATES UNDER JOE BIDDEN WILL INTERVENE IN NIGERIA IF THERE IS A CONFLICT

Another terrible delusion among most Southerners is that America would come here to intervene if there is trouble between North and South or even a Civil War.
They won't.
When Buhari requested Americans to site the headquarters of their African Command closer here to help us I wrote: WHY AMERICAN'S WONT COME HERE
They could go to Egypt or even South Africa, Lebanon, etc but not Nigeria.
I know how America works. I have read about that nation, her politics, power play, history, Literature, religion etc for several years and I can tell you one thing: Americans won't come here.
You may continue to delude yourself yo the contrary.

3. THAT THE UNITED NATIONS WILL DO ANYTHING IF WAR BREAKS OUT OR SEND A PEACE- KEEPING FORCE HERE

The worst of all these delusions and the most dangerous is the over reliance on the United Nations by the Ethnic Nationalist Agitators. They seem to have an unbending belief in the United Nation to give them the Oduduwa Republic and Biafra and Middle Belt etc.
Is it that our learned people and scholars do not understand how the world works? And how the United Nations especially works? Who will enforce the decree of the United Nations?
Of what use is a United Nations without the support of America and Britain? How many of the Security Council members of the UN has the military power to enforce a decision of UN in Nigeria? So if the North or Nigeria occupies the new Biafra nation or Oduduwa nation who will throw them out? Or you think it is like Kuwait that America would go to throw away Iraq? There is nothing you have that America needs.
That is why I considered this the greatest of the delusions and the one that will prove most fatal.
I expected that someone working on an Oduduwa Republic would have its own People's Militia at the ready - just in case.
Today I can see nothing.
General Togun alerted us yesterday that an invasion of the Southwest is imminent. And barring a divine intervention we may face this course soon.
But you should have foreseen this coming and prepared for.this.
Three years ago I warned the Yoruba in particular and the Southerners in general to set up their own People's Militia. How many paid heed to it. Now I am afraid it is now late - too late for the Yorubas. You are surrounded.
United Nations won't help you in what is coming because without the firepower of the Americans United Nations is nothing especially when it comes to a populous nation like Nigeria and Americans won't come here except probably to evacuate their citizens and embassy staff.
The United Nations could have stopped the genocide in Rwanda or at least mitigated it, what did the body do? French Army watched as one African tribe massacred another in one week of madness without using force to intervene or stop the madness.
United Nations is as strong as America and Britain decide to make it. All the Resolutions made by UN against Israel how many of them have been enforced? Who will enforce them without America the only super power now on the planet?
That is why I think the South is making a terrible mistake in strategy.
That the UN intervened in Sudan and split the nation does not mean they would do the same here. Sudan is not Nigeria and Nigeria is not Sudan.

4. THAT WRITING LETTERS OR STAGING PROTESTS WILL CHANGE THE BUHARI ADMINISTRATION OR CAUSE IT TO MOVE AGAINST THE FULANI HERDSMEN OR BANDITS

There is a belief that Muhammadu Buhari is not really aware of what is going on and that much of this information do not get to him. That the President is actually a good man but with bad advisers... And so on. I.consider these to be pernicious nonsense.
I do not have the luxury of time to probe this deeply here.
However there is a common mistake Nigerians often make which brought us here to begin with. People confuse knowledge with attitude. Knowledge or know- how is one thing and culture, attitude or behaviour is another. You can teach a man who doesn't know if he is willing to learn but it is difficult to change a man - and a man above 70 for that matter - of his beliefs, culture, attitude and dispositions.
Buhari's insularity and provincialism fuel his attitude to even State affairs and these are the product of his Islamic fundamentalist belief system and Wahabist ideology. It is not that he is not aware that the Constitution provides for ethnic balancing in the area of appointments to strategic positions and offices. He knows. But as an Islamic fundamentalist he doesn't believe that a Muslim is equal or should have equal representation with a non- Muslim.
He did it in 1984 all the three topmost positions in the Supreme Military Council, - Head of State, his deputy and the Chief of Staff were all Muslims. He has done it in 2015 appointments and has worsened even in the 2019.
This man cannot change and will never be changed.
Thinking that he would change in 2019 brought Nigeria to.this mess when we have the opportunity through that singular election to change the narrative. Thus, writing letters, organising protests etc would change nothing. Buhari would do nothing against the Fulani herdsmen and bandits even if they became more brutal than they presently are.
It is left for you to find answers for.yourself.

5. THAT ANYTHING SHORT OF FORCE, ADEQUATE, PROPORTIONATE, DEFINITE FORCE CAN STOP THE FULANI HERDSMEN IN THEIR TEMPORARY MISSION OF HARASSING, EXTORTION AND TERRORISM; AND IN THEIR LARGER ULTIMATE PURPOSE OF TOTAL INVASION, RELIGIOUS AND CULTURAL HEGEMONY AND IMPOSITION OF THEIR WAY OF LIFE ON OTHER ETHNIC NATIONALITIES

I will give you one sign so that you may know this people are being guided and up to an agenda.
Shortly after Buhari became President and all the security apparatus fell in their hands the Fulani herdsmen went haywire and began to attack other Nigerians - farmers and travelers alike. As they were attacking on the road way so they were attacking in the farms.
Then suddenly something happened. I am not sure Nigerians notice because we are a people without understanding and perception but at least one NIGERIAN noticed and wrote about it in the Guardian newspaper.
What was it?
Shortly before the election of 2019 just about the time when campaigns began the Fulani herdsmen stopped their atrocities. It was like a ceasefire in war. It was a coordinated approach. All across the nation you couldn''t hear of a single attack either against farmers or travelers while the campaign to return Buhari to power was going on.
You may again go and check the newspapers of the period, you can't read of any Fulani attack against anyone.
Why?
It now seems they deliberately managed themselves so that Buhari could get a second term, so that Nigerians won't notice anything.
Now that Buhari is on for the second time they have resumed their atrocities. This singular incident shows me conclusively that this people are being coordinated somewhere and up to some purpose. United by their common belief and entrenched in their religion - a religion that does not see anything wrong with bloodshed, slavery of infidels, war- mongering and even plunder - they march on to execute their larger purpose.
Now famine is imminent in the South.
Now most Southern states are surrounded. A siege is the first stage in the declaration of war among the ancients. That is now happening. Farmers cannot go to farm, prices of foodstuff continue to skyrocket. The war has started but Southerners enslaved by too much book learning are still embroiled in Conferences, seminars, symposium, fantasia, papers... While every day their choices become narrower and narrower.
Barring the special grace of God and divine intervention nothing can stop the Fulani herdsmen in their sinister course except equal, proportionate force.
If as Newton shows that "to every action there is equal and opposite reaction" then it is left for the different ethnic nationalities to plan their counter - action or reaction that is equal and formidable to this existential threat to their collective survival. Buhari would do nothing about it and his government would do nothing. Either you act now or you wait for the UN at your own perils.

6. THAT THE WORLD WILL INTERVENE IF A CIVIL WAR BREAKS OUT BETWEEN THE NORTH AND SOUTH OR BETWEEN FULANIS AND YORUBAS

This is another fallacy based on delusions of grandeur. Which "world" are you talking about?
The world of the black man or the white man? The world of the developed nations or the backward Third World nations?
During the Civil War how many nations came here?
They only sold arms to us.
Only on the side of Biafra that France and Israel actually actively participated. They didn't send soldiers only logistical support.
That was then.
The world has since changed even worse than then.
No one will come here except to sell arms. The resulting demographic disaster doesn't worry the developed nations so long it does not endanger the white skin. They may even be happy secretly about it.

7. THAT CHRISTIANITY IS AGAINST WAR AND SELF -DEFENSE

This will be the most fatal of all the delusions to the South. Since most Christians live or reside in the South.
Leading this fallacious and illogical position is the Church of Rome and mostly espoused by its exegetes the most notable of which is Bishop Kukah.
It is held by Catholic Church School of theology that peaceful non- resistance is the way out and the Christian standard.
I stand here to say that the Bible either in the New Testament or Old Testament knows nothing like pacifism or peaceful non- resistance in the face of extreme aggression and existential threat of genocide against an entire race or tribe battling for collective survival.
I stand here to state and to challenge anyone who has a contrary idea to a debate that neither the New Testament nor Church History knows anything as pacifism or peaceful non- resistance in the face of a genocide against an entire people groups or whole races.
I would be glad if anyone can accept my offer for a debate on any platform.
The Bible and Historical Theology never condemned self- defense or engagement in "a just war"- a war to remove the cause of aggression and to punish evil. From Cicero to Augustine, from Aquina to Calvin and Luther, all the great exegetes and authorities of Theology are agreed that it is proper for a people facing existential danger of survival to defend themselves with any and every weapon they can lay their hands on.
I have read Bishop Kukah on this peaceful non- resistance but I don't know where the modern Catholic system got this. None of you in the entire Nigerian Roman Catholic Church is more Catholic than Aquina and none of you is as saintly as Augustine who first laid the theology of Just War that became the governing premises of the Western nations and Civilization till today.
The madness in man must sometimes be answered not with persuasion or pleading but with greater madness. This is what prompted the Crusades although today we have distorted their History and Islam and apologists of Islam and their new found allies in the Western universities and leftist revisionist historians now mouth plenty of nonsense about the Crusaders forgetting it was the same type of provocations that triggered that Movement. The madness presently going on in Nigeria will not end until it is confronted with an equal madness from the other side. Sometimes it takes madness to cure madness. That is the great lesson of the Crusades.
Most of the foolish things people say to justify peaceful non- resistance are neither scriptural not logical.
If Jesus was so much against self - defense, as the authors of non- resistance tell us, what were two of his Disciples doing with swords on the night of His betrayal? A sword is not an object of decoration or ornament in First Century Palestine, it is an instrument of war. It is them what AK-47 is to us today.
Let the pacifists answer that charge.
I am aware that people are fasting and praying. I salute you all. I am praying too. But as in the days of Nehemiah don't just pray alone plan too with weapons girded around you and be prepared "with fire and with thunder."
I will not endanger anyone and I will do no evil to anyone but anyone who intends or plans to remove me from the land of my fathers before my time from whatever religion or tribe will have himself to blame if I be a servant of the Most High God.
Every ethnic nationality has a right to defend itself, raise her own militia to defend its people and spaces and land. Even churches ought to raise their own militia to.defend the people who worship or come to worship there.
Enough of using CHRISTIANITY to justify a system of unrighteousness or prop a structure of iniquity. There is nothing in Apostolic CHRISTIANITY that forbids a whole tribe or people groups from standing up for their lives against an aggressive enemies with a history of genocide and blood stains.
It is time for a Liberation Theology in Nigeria and even more Confrontation Theology. The minds of Christians in this nation need to be liberated from religion and slavery.
That will soon be done. That is a major task ahead. Slaves won't survive what is coming, only sons will.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Nyesom Wike threatened the North and Southwest when Goodluck Jonathan lost election in 2015.

Nyesom Wike said he would lead a war against Nigeria like Ojukwu if any attempt to rob Rivers State the way we robbed Goodluck Jonathan.

Nyesom Wike said we had tactically shared the country, and they would not allow us use their resources to develop our states.

I was surprised when he killed IPOB members, denied his Igbo origin and donated N500 million to Sokoto.

I know he wants to satisfy the North because of his Vice Presidential ambition with Aminu Tambuwal under PDP.

Unfortunately for him, Northerners are not fools.

I beg all nairalanders, all Nigerians, all men and women of goodwill to rise up and speak against this evil. These evil bandits are sinking our country into unprecedented anarchy.

The carnage and blood letting call us to speak truth to power and to ourselves. We don't need to be partisan about this when people are dying in this proportion, then Our nation is dying too..

Nigeria has become a huge axis of terror. Nations smear and laugh at us now . I beg dividers to think hard after seeing this heart rending pictures of these dead farmers.

This is not about the North, this not about the South, this is calculated scheme by evil ones to obliterate the Nigerian nation. And our government must stand up to this Truth, and face the source of this evil . for any government to be accountable, we must hold the government to account, without which it will remain aloof of the people and the realities.

People, we are just a step away from a grave doom, even the world cannot manage full blown crisis in Nigeria. The time is now to save our country. Short sighted one may deliberately fail to see this glaring DOOM ahead.

This is time for Truth, only the Truth can save us NOW!!!

- A statement from the military authorities assured that the military is committed to the safety and stability of the country

The Armed Forces of Nigeria (AFN) have expressed dismay over some violence-related protests across the country.

The AFN frowned at the increasing number of attacks on peaceful protesters by thugs and miscreants, warning that the unfolding event against peace-loving Nigerians will not be condoned.

A statement to journalists from the coordinator, Defence Media Operations in the Defence Headquarters, Major-General John Enenche, warned that no one should attack peaceful protesters.

“Thugs and miscreants are hereby warned to desist from engaging in violent activities against peaceful Nigerians henceforth or face appropriate measures.
“The Military High Command duly encourages peaceful citizens to go about their normal activities without fear of intimidation or harassment as the Armed Forces of Nigeria and other security agencies are on ground for their safety.
“In clear terms, any attempt to undermine the democracy of our beloved nation under any cover will not be allowed. For emphasis, the Armed Forces of Nigeria remains subordinated to the civil authorities of the country with unflinching loyalty to the President Commander in Chief.”

Politics / The Second Niger Bridge: Between Facts And Fiction by Builderman(m): 12:16pm On Oct 04, 2020
Doyin Okupe, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has made what he called 15 revelations about the Second Niger Bridge.

In a message he entitled “GEJ, Buhari & The People,” Okupe wrote:

[1] The Bridge is NOT Being Constructed by the FGN.

[2] It’s a PPP Project which the FGN contributes a tiny fraction.

[3] The 2nd Niger Bridge Will Cost about N117 billion.

[4] Started in 2013 and should have been completed in 2017, but worked stopped for 31 months. Completion date Not certain now.

[5] FGN share of the Cost is N30billion. Jonathan through the Sure-P paid N21.2billion (71%) including N7billion for the completion of preparatory work (Phase 1).

[6] 38% of the work has been done as at Jan 2015.

[7] The N140b Oshiomhole said was wasted on Admin cost on the bridge was a lie, as admin cost can not be higher than the cost of the whole project.

[8] Buhari’s Govt Paid *N2billion* NOT $2billion as Osinbajo said during the Anambra State election. They will be paying another N3.05b when the budget is approved.

[9] Work has restarted in earnest at the site and about 5%-7% has been completed bringing the total completed work to about 43% to 45% according to an engineer I spoke to.

[10] All the pictures flying all over the internet are pictures of work-in-progress made during the 1st quarter of 2015.

[11] In summary, Jonathan govt paid 71% of FGN share of the cost, while Buhari’s govt has paid 6.1%.

[12] Julius Berger, the Major Contractor and Construction company will put Toll Gate on Completion of the Bridge to recover their cost.

[13] The Construction Company is Funding the Project and the People using the Bridge will bear the cost via Toll Charges.

[14] The real People building the Bridge are Nigerians that will use the Bridge, as they will REPAY the cost to Julius Berger.

[15] For those celebrating politicians and sharing old or fake pictures of 2nd Niger Bridge, the facts are Not on your side.

Politics / Shagari’s Son Aminu Apologises To Jonathan, Knocks Buhari by Builderman(m): 11:40am On Oct 04, 2020
Shagari’s son Aminu apologises to Jonathan, knocks Buhari

Aminu Shagari
Aminu Shagari, three-term House of Representatives member and lawyer son of the late President Shehu Shagari, has apologized to the former Nigerian president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.

Aminu said he helped to bring down Jonathan’s government to ensure Muhammadu Buhari emerged despite that as a military officer he led a coup that dethroned his father in 1983.

Mr. Shagari, who was president between 1979 and 1983, passed away on December 28, aged 93. He was removed in a military coup led by Nigeria’s current president, Muhammadu Buhari.

Years after, Mr. Buhari was elected as a civilian president in 2015 and while preparing to run for another tenure in 2019 he traveled to Sokoto to pay a condolence visit to the family of the former president.

He also ordered that flags should be flown at half-mast for three days at all military formations and public places in the country.

After his visit, Aminu called him out Buhari by stating that the President never gave “words of comfort” during his visit.

He said: “We didn’t hear such because he didn’t say anything. We gave him the condolence register. He only signed and put the date. Personally, I was very disappointed with that. I expected that at least, as Muslim, he would write, ‘May Allah forgive him and may Allah forgive us when our time comes.’ That makes me extremely disappointed in him.”

And in a recent interview with Punch, Aminu stated that Buhari has not contacted his family or deliver the promises to immortalize their father.

“I was never contacted and the Presidency has not contacted our family, to the best of my knowledge. Nothing has changed; the only thing I remember is that, at a campaign rally in Bauchi, after his visit to our father’s residence in Sokoto, prayers were offered for my dad. This probably was an afterthought following the backlash that followed his (Buhari) mere signing of the condolence register, with no written or verbal condolence message.

“This is somebody we really supported, campaigned for and mobilised people for his election because we obediently adhered to our father’s dictate to forgive and let bygone be bygone. The same Muhammadu Buhari, in the condolence letter he gave the state governor (Aminu Waziri Tambuwal), promised to immortalise our dad. Close to two years after his death, he has yet to fulfil his promise. Whereas he recently named certain landmarks after some Nigerians who are still alive, including former President Goodluck Jonathan.

“Let me use this opportunity to tender a public apology to former President Jonathan and seek forgiveness because I helped to divide the Peoples Democratic Party and bring down his government, but, I have found out that what we thought about his stewardship was not entirely true. I expect President Buhari to also ask for forgiveness having found out that most of the things he accused my dad’s and President Jonathan’s administrations of are not true.”

Speaking on the current state of Nigeria, Aminu said “I am very disappointed.” He noted that Nigeria’s only hope is in good governance.

“I believe if we get it right in this aspect of our national life, our story would turn from bad to good within a short time. With emphasis, all we require is a credible and sincere leadership that will maximise our God-given talents and resources. A lot of us committed so much to bring this administration on board. As an individual, I assumed that, if nothing else, we would get the issue of security right, and every other thing would follow.

“Unfortunately, our security situation has degenerated from bad to worse and the President has refused to listen to every voice of reasoning. Rather, he has turned a deaf ear to what people are saying and insisted on keeping the service chiefs.

“Just recently, the government slammed the entire citizenry with a double post-COVID-19 assault – fuel price hike and increase in electricity tariff, without considering the income of Nigerians. With the minimum wage, in the face of the depreciating value of the naira, how do you expect an average Nigerian worker to survive, meet their family’s financial needs, and be happy?.

The Nigerian Truth As It stares Us In The Face

*To our religion extremist:*
Go to the market now and present your Christian or Muslim identity to buy goods at cheaper price.

*To our party die hearts:*
Go to the petroleum station and present your PDP or APC membership card to get per litre at N45

*To the regional extremists:*
Go to PHCN and tell them I'm from the North, South, East or West and buy tariff at cheaper price

*To our tribal extremist:*
Go to the market and tell them I'm Hausa, Fulani, Igbo, Yoruba etc and they will sell a bag of rice to you at N7000

It's obvious that politicians have learnt that we are so cheap and blinded by our sentiments and they capitalize on it to be playing basketball with our brains.

*We are all suffering today:*
We are united in hunger
We are friends in poverty
We are neighbors in pains
We are relatives in bad roads
We are partners in insecurity
We are brothers and sisters in complains
We are equal in trouble just to mention but few

*But when it's time for election:*
We are divided by religion, political parties, region, tribe, section, etc.

its time to do things right!
*United we enjoy! Divided we suffer!*

EXCLUSIVE: Ex-Gov, Others Paid N1bn Bribes To Magu Through Pastor Omale, BDC Operator – Salami Panel

By Tayo Olu on August 22, 2020

The suspended acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, received over N1 billion bribes through Pastor Emmanuel Omale and a BDC operator, Ahmed Ibrahim Shanono, a preliminary report of the presidential panel investigating Magu has disclosed.

The Justice Ayo Salami-led panel, which is investigating Magu for corruption and insubordination, also listed the individuals and companies that allegedly paid the bribes, in the report seen by THE WHISTLER.

The bribes, according to the panel, were paid by persons being investigated for corruption by the anti-graft agency.

The preliminary report accused Magu of using, “Pastor Emmanuel Omale (who openly referred to the suspended Ag. Chairman as a member of his church and his spiritual son during proceedings before the Commission) and, a Bureau D’ Change (BDC) operator named Ahmed Ibrahim Shanono as conduits for bribery collection.”

“A careful assessment of some of Shanono’s over 150 bank accounts and that of Omale and his Divine Hand of God Prophetic Ministry Church revealed that various sums of money in both local and foreign currencies (dollar) were deposited by persons this Commission uncovered as being investigated by the EFCC,” the report said.

Pastor Emmanuel Omale of the Divine Hand of God Prophetic Ministry Church

The Salami panel also revealed the identities of eight suspects that allegedly paid the bribes to Magu through Pastor Omale and Shanono.

Shanono allegedly received N570, 698,500 from China Zhonghao Nigeria Limited through the UBA bank account (1018895662) of his company, Ahmed Ibrahim Shanono Investment Ltd.

“The transfers were in about 43 tranches between 5th December 2014 and 23rd June 2015.  The China Zhonghao Coy is being investigated by the EFCC for abandoning a road contract awarded to the company by the Zamfara State Government between 2012 and 2019,” the panel noted.

An aide to a former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Nathaniel Uyo, was alleged to have paid the sum of N10 million into an Ecobank Account (3912014141) of the Divine Hand of God Prophetic Ministry on 09-06-2018.

The report said the former NDDC MD, “was then being investigated by the EFCC over an alleged attempt to bribe members of the Akwa Ibom State APC Appeal Committee in Abuja.”

Pastor Omale, according to the Salami panel, also received N10 million from a Bureau de Change operator, 7×7 BDC Limited, through his Church’s Ecobank account.

The report said the BDC was being investigated by the EFCC for, “receiving over one billion six hundred million-naira (N1,600,000,000.00), part of the twenty-seven billion naira (N27,000,000,000.00) Insurance Premiums looted during the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan.”

A former Chairman of the Niger State Pilgrims’ Agency, Liman Kantigi, who was being investigated by the EFCC for allegedly misappropriating funds during his tenure at the agency, also allegedly paid N200 million bribe to Magu through Shanono.

Kantigi, through his company, Sadiq Air Travels, allegedly transferred N200 million into the Access Bank Account of Shanono’s company, the panel report said.

Weeks before paying the alleged bribe, the EFCC was said to have traced N4 billion to two Guaranty Trust Bank accounts linked to Kantigi.

A government contractor, A.G Ferrero & CO, had also allegedly paid over N213 million to another company belonging to Shanono, Newtech Aluminium and Roofing Services Ltd.

“A.G Ferrero & Co was a contractor to Jigawa State Government during the tenure of Sule Lamido between 2007 and 2013. Lamido was investigated by the EFCC during the period.” the report said.

The Salami panel said Pastor Omale, through his church, also received N1.3 million from a company being investigated for alleged link to EFCC’sN1.5 billion money laundering case against a former Plateau State Governor, Joshua Dariye.

According to the panel, “Apartment Le Paradisi transferred one million three hundred and twenty thousand naira (N1,320,000.00) into Divine Hand of God Prophetic Ministry Eco Bank Account (3912014143), on 22/04/2014. The company had testified before the EFCC, in respect of a case involving the former Plateau State Governor, Joshua Dariye who was then being investigated for laundering about one billion five hundred million naira (N1,500,000,000.00).”

Former Plateau State Governor, Jonah Jang, was alleged to have paid N30,744,000 to Ahmed Ibrahim Shanono Investment Ltd over his investigation for alleged looting of N6.3 billion while serving as governor of the state.

“Senator Jonah David Jang transferred the sum of thirty million seven hundred and forty-four thousand naira (N30,744,000.00) into the UBA Account (1018895662) of Ahmed Ibrahim Shanono Investment Ltd, on 18th July 2016. Senator Jang, a former Governor of Plateau State is being investigated by EFCC for alleged looting of six billion three hundred million naira (N6.3bn) belonging to Plateau State Government,” said the report.

Buhari’s Ministers Only Interested In Amassing Money — Babachir

By Temidayo Akinsuyi

LAGOS – Engr. Babachir Lawal, a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), on Sunday said majority of the ministers in President Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet do not share his vision of taking Nigeria to the next level.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Daily Independent, Babachir said while the president is a good leader, who means well for the country, many of his appointees, especially the ministers, are only interested in amassing enough money so as to contest for governorship elections in their respective states.

He also accused many senators, who are supposed to be the representatives of their constituents in the National Assembly, of pursuing personal agenda, instead of collaborating with their state governors in bringing developments to their states and advancing the cause of their constituents.

“I like the president, he means well for Nigeria but he has the challenge of subordinates who have different agenda. The president has an agenda that is good for Nigerians, he means well but his subordinates don’t share his vision. They have a different agenda.

“Majority of the ministers are only interested in making enough money to go and contest for governorship positions in their states. Majority of the senators are only interested in making money so that they can go and become governors in their states.

“So, the synergy of a senator sitting down with a governor to discuss the issue of development in the North doesn’t exist because already, they are competitors. In the South, governors and legislators are on the same page. When they come to Abuja, they fight for policies and programmes that will benefit their people. In the North, that doesn’t happen. They only wear babanriga and put one kilogramme of starch inside and claim big men. That is the truth”.

Babachir, who is from Adamawa State, also said the governor of the state, Ahmadu Fintiri is having a no love lost relationship with the three senators in the state, saying the same applies to all the states in the Northern region.

“My governor is not in talking terms with all the senators. Two of them are in his political party but they have not been talking. The other one is APC who is struggling for his seat. So, how can my state move forward? And that is what is happening in all the Northern states”, he said.

On the situation in Southern Kaduna, Babachir said the utterances of Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State has further worsened the crisis in the area.

The former SGF, who condemned the marginalisation of Christians in Kaduna and other parts of the North, gave credit to a former governor of the state, Ahmed Makarfi, who, according to him, handled the crisis well during his tenure because he saw the issue from an ethnic and not religious point of view.

“Initially, I think from 1980, most of the problems of Southern Kaduna are ethnic. When Ahmed Makarfi became governor, he understood that most of the issues were ethnic than religious and he was able to address it. Roads were being constructed equally in all parts of the state; traditional institutions were strengthened in all parts of the state. Everybody was getting his fair share of the resources that the state has and the matter didn’t get out of hand.

“The problem I see in Kaduna is that the state government led by Governor Nasir El-Rufai is not sensitive to the issues. Their utterances simply indicate that they are not sympathetic to the issues. Like I saw a write-up by Shehu Sani today, he said when it happened in Zamfara, government calls it banditry and they sympathised with the affected communities but when it happens in Southern Kaduna, government starts to explain what is happening, rather than calling a spade exactly what it is and sympathising with the people.

“So, it depends on how government handles the issue at all levels; from the federal to the state to local government and ward levels. I remember when banditry started in Sokoto and they overran a village, the state governor with all his cabinets went there to sympathise with the victims. They went with blankets, food items and other basic things. In some states, they don’t do that; rather than do that, they will even insult the communities that are the victims.

“That is what is happening. Incompetent governors and rulers in the North are responsible. The North is full of incompetent rulers. All they want is to ride in convoys and people are hailing and waving at them. When they come home, people sit on the mats while they are the only ones sitting on a chair because they are governors. They see themselves as Deputy Jesus. They are not interested in serving the people, all they care about is ruling”, he said.

Babachir who also faulted exclusion of Christians from key political positions in Kaduna State despite their population said the issue may boomerang as future generations may not accept it.

“Why should Kaduna end up with Muslim governor and Muslim deputy governor? The speaker is Muslim as well as the deputy speaker. Two cabinet ministers are also Muslims. There are about six or seven local governments in Kaduna that are predominantly Christians.

“Nigeria must look at these issues because the day it will explode, it will surprise everybody. While elders like us are willing to tolerate these things because of peace and harmony, our children may not be able to do so because they can’t accept to be Northerners only during neglect when positions are shared. election periods and suffer

“My own motive is for a peaceful Nigeria in which we are our brother’s keeper. That is my message to Nigerians because God has blessed me to a stage where I was part of those running the government. So, I have a highest stake in ensuring that Nigeria works than most people because I have liability also. I am one of the people that God will hold accountable if Nigeria doesn’t work.

“Having been a former SGF, I should be worried about the future of the country and that is why I have been talking with passion. The little period I served as SGF will be counted among the periods that things were not moving.

“That was the period I couldn’t go to my village because insurgents have overran my local government area and I was in Abuja in convoy, with security agents clearing the road for me but I couldn’t go home to my village. That makes me an empty vessel. If Boko Haram can overrun my local government area and then I was part of the top people in government, that makes me an empty vessel. I sincerely hope things will improve”, he said.

State of the nation: Prepare for mass action against Buhari govt – Utomi, Na’Abba to Nigerians

By

 citynews

August 3, 2020

The National Consultative Front, a newly formed group, has told Nigerians to be prepared for nationwide mass action against the President Muhammadu Buhari government.

The mass action, according to the group, is against corruption, hunger, abuse of public trust and insecurity.

This was contained in a statement jointly issued on Sunday by a former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ghali Umar Na’Abba, and a former presidential candidate, Prof Pat Utomi.

The National Consultative Front pointed out that the time had come for Nigerians to resist, neutralise and chase out the political cartel bent on milking the country’s commonwealth dry.

The group accused President Buhari of being caged and his office which according to them, was being run by some unelected proxies and power traders.

The statement said, “In view of the various unimaginable melodrama and macabre dance of corruption and chaos within the top echelon of the Nigerian political leadership and government, which has been exposing the cause of high-level insecurity and hunger in the country today.”

The group said it became imperative for the citizens, who are victims of the increasing corruption and insecurity ravaging the country, to halt the festering rot and what it described as ‘political coronavirus’ in the Buhari-led government.

“Consequently, all of us as citizens of conscience should have no choice but to urgently rise in unison to utilize our collective power as a vast majority of united citizens capable of chasing out that clique of ruinous political cartel ravaging our commonwealth enabled by their self-serving capture of our Government and State, now being ruthlessly deployed to milking us to stupor, while riding roughshod on us as a people,” it said.

For this purpose, the NCFront said it will be flagging off its zonal political structures in the six geo-political zones of the country and also set up its strategic operational committees in order to strengthen its budding national consultations and mobilisation towards a historic nationwide political resistance programme.

Recall that about 30 prominent Nigerians had formed the new political movement in the country.

More trouble for Rochas Okorocha as owner of Zigreat makes damning revelations of looted billions
opera.com May 13, 2020 3:22 PM

....Contractor reveals details of the Orji/Amakohia/Akwukuma Flyover Cost N7bn

... Reveal how Billions of Naira Waste Paid For Non Existing Projects

Monday was filled with brevelations at the Probe Panel sitting over contracts awarded during the Rochas Okorocha era when the owner of the elusive Zigreat int’l company, Mr Stanley was put on the stand to answer questions over the alleged multiple contracts awarded to his company between 2011 and 2019.

It could be recalled that soon after former governor Rochas Okorocha left office, shocking details of the number of contracts Zigreat handled in Imo State to the tone of billions of naira started to emerge.

After numerous inquires into the identity of those behind the said Zigreat with its address listed at Ugbelle Street, Ideato South, the owner finally made public appearance.

Zigreat's owner, a Mr Stanley claimed his company was registered in 2013 when his boss Mr Paschal Obi, who was then the Principal Secretary to Rochas Okorocha allegedly told him provide a company with which Rochas Okorocha will use for contracts.

In the words of Mr Stanley “I submitted my company’s name Zigreat as my boss Paschal Obi demanded the all money paid into the Zigreat account and the names that I disbursed the money to were all contained in my Zenith, Potari and other banks statement of account that I used."

Mr Stanley denied that his company was ever given a contract by the Okorocha administration and neither did he ever sublet any contract to anybody.

He further alleged that he is still a tenant and has never been rewarded for all the billions his company accounts were used to disburse to people.

He clamined Okorocha's administration begged him to claim ownership of the contracts when he was taken to EFCC alleging that he didn't know anything about them.

He further caled that he accepted the government demand because of his boss Paschal Obi.

He further stated that the EFCC didn't even believe he executed any of the contracts maintaining that he did not execute the contract of the conatruction of the police headquarters building and other contracts supposedly executed by his company, Zigreat.

He then tendered names of those that got the entire money through his company (Zigreat warehouse)

“I only disbursed money but never executed any contract, I don’t even have engineers and workers that handle contracts."

He stated further that he did not know the people he made payments to but he said he has all their list as evidence.

Mr Stanley stated that in September 2013 when he received the first trench of the contract fund and which he distributed to the names given to him by Imo government House.

His company was only a warehouse money and not for execution of any contract because none was given to Zigreat contrary to the information going making the rounds.

Mr Stanley stated that he is the only signatory to the company’s account further stating that the Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, was now after him because of tax that he is expected to pay into the Federal government coffers for disbursing such huge amounts of money through the company.

The probe panel commissioners threw some questions at him which included:

1. Did his company Zigreat receive the sum of 2.5 billion naira for the construction of Imo State University campus at Ngor Okpala LGA?

Mr Stanley claimed that his company never got such money.

2. Did his company receive money for the construction of Ministry of Tourism which the state government supposedly paid out 7.8 billion naira to Zigreat.

Mr Stanley denied the claim.

3. Did receive N6.7million for the Ministry of Sports construction?

Again Mr Stanley said it was a lie.

4. Was the construction of IMSU campus at Onuimo, Okigwe zone which government paid Zigreat Company 2.3 billion naira.

Mr Stanley yet again denied having knowledge of any such money.

He also denied the construction of the N150m Nekede road and the Akachi road construction.

A small drama ensued when the contractor who supposedly handled the Orji/Akwakuma/Amakohia flyover worth over N7bn also denied receiving any money for the contract.

The contractor claimed he didn't accept the contract.

Years after Okorocha claimed to have completed the project, it remains unused because of its poor quality.

P&ID: Let Nigerians know owner of verified account, Jonathan tells FG

May 13, 2020

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has challenged the Federal Government to tell Nigerians and the world the owner of the verified account in the United States of America, now that the court has granted its subpoena request. Jonathan, in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media, Ikechukwu Eze, however noted errors in some online news reports on the matter, noting that the order by the New York federal judge, Lorna Schofield, was for the Nigerian government to verify if he (Jonathan) and other named persons, have bank accounts in America.

“The court did not grant access to the bank accounts of former President Jonathan, because the former president has no bank accounts in the United States or any other country in the world, either in his name or in the name of privies. “It is expedient to mention that the subpoena was approved several days ago.

“Consequently, we urge those who implemented the subpoena to tell Nigerians and the world whether or not they found any bank accounts in the name of former President Goodluck Jonathan,” the statement demanded. Jonathan recalled that when the news of the subpoena broke last month, he did not only restate the fact that he has no accounts in the United States but also urged the US authorities to grant Nigeria’s application by providing the requested bank records.

“For the avoidance of doubt, we will continue to reiterate that whether in or out of office, former President Jonathan does not have any property or bank account outside Nigeria,” the statement added. It also challenged any journalist, who might be interested, to seek for a Freedom of Information application to peruse the documents discovered by this subpoena. “This is important because Nigerians deserve to know the outcome of these investigations,” Jonathan added.

‘Don Allah, Let’s Agree A Ceasefire’ – Battered Boko Haram Leader, Abubakar Shekau Begs Buratai

By

 KOKO

 April 17, 2020

Media reports indicates that there’s a crisis in the Boko Haram camp as credible sources have confirmed that the leader of the sect, Abubakar Shekau, has been making frantic efforts to seek a soft landing as he prepares to surrender.

This much was gathered from top intelligence sources in the Theatre of Operations in North-East Nigeria. According to a source who pleaded anonymity, he stated that Abubakar Shekau is desperately looking for an avenue to surrender.

“I think the end of Boko Haram is coming close as Abubakar Shekau has been making overtures through proxies for a soft landing for him to surrender to the Nigerian authorities. He has been desperate about it, and the intensity is occasioned with the avalanche of coordinated operations launched in recent times against the group, especially in the Timbuktu triangle”.

The source further added that in recent times the Boko Haram group had suffered casualties that put the group in a tight corner.

“The gap is closing in on Abubakar Shekau as it stands. The series of coordinated attacks on their hideouts has made it impossible for any escape as the military has been attacking from several flanks, and any attempt to escape now is virtually impossible.”

“The Chief of Army Staff has given an order that Abubakar Shekau is captured alive. The Chief has been in Borno State and there is a likelihood that he is going to be around for a long period given his body language of not leaving anything to chance in this critical operation. As a fact, he has joined several reconnaissance operations around the Timbuktu triangle, after which he issued specific directives with the Intel gathered from the reconnaissance operations. He has also been in the trenches with some commanders holding meetings and analyzing Intel. I can tell you that everyone is on top of their game as the strategy is clear for all to understand.”

It was also gathered that the past weeks had witnessed a renewed onslaught against Abubakar Shekau and his group, which was led by the Chief of Army Staff. A top source was quoted as saying that the Chief of Army Staff is virtually visible in all locations within the theatre of operations.

“I can confirm that the Chief of Army Staff is personally coordinating the renewed onslaught against the Boko Haram group. He has been visiting troops in areas where the terrorists’ kingpin is said to be hiding. This act by the Chief of Army Staff has seen a massive boost to the morale of the fighting troops. The results coming in have been tremendous, and it is a source of joy at the Army headquarters.”

The source also stated that there had been orders from the Chief of Army Staff that utmost care must be observed to ensure that women and children are not caught in the crossfire during operations.

“As we speak, the troops are strictly carrying out the orders of the Chief of Army Staff towards ensuring that civilians within these territories are not hurt during any of the operations. This might slow things down a bit as the Boko Haram group is now using women and children as shields to buy time.”

“So far, I can say that the troops have been careful in this regard as efforts are being made to ensure that the operation as much as possible does not lead to the death of unarmed civilians. The various commanders have been mandated to ensure that as many unarmed civilians, mostly women and children are rescued unhurt. He is been briefed on a minute by minute basis as the troops closes in on the triangle.”

It was also gathered that there had been active cooperation from countries like Chad, Cameroon, and Niger, and this has made any form of escape for Abubakar Shekau and his group to neighboring countries impossible.

“I can tell you now that troops have blocked the usual escape routes for the Boko Haram terrorist group into Chad, Niger, and Cameroon. The level of cooperation experienced now has been quite phenomenal.”

The routes through which they bring their arms and ammunitions have been taken over by troops from the Multinational Joint Task Force. This action has placed the Boko Haram group in disarray hence their inability to launch attacks anymore.”

In a similar vein, it was gathered that the Boko Haram group has also reached out to some International Non-Governmental Organizations to seek a deal with the Nigerian government towards granting amnesty to it.

A top staffer of one of the NGOs (name withheld) confirmed that on several occasions, Abubakar Shekau had sent emissaries to their organization to help secure an amnesty deal with the government of Nigeria.

“We were shocked in the initial stages, thinking it was a hoax. But this continued, and we were left with no choice than to inform the security agencies in a bid to protect ourselves.”

When asked why Abubakar Shekau singled out their NGO for this task, he stated that it was probably due to the international recognition the organization has in the area of providing humanitarian services across the globe.

"We are an international organization, and over time we have been actively involved in providing humanitarian services in North-East, Nigeria. I believe they are trying to take advantage of our platform to seek a way out of their predicament. We are also conscious of the fact that this is a security issue, and it is outside our mandate. So we have elected not to be a part of whatever negotiations the Boko Haram group wants with the government of Nigeria.

“It is indeed obvious that the tide has turned against the Boko Haram group so much that they want to end the insurgency, which we think would be good for all concerned. However, as I said, it is not in our place to decide if that would happen or not. We are concerned about fulfilling our core mandate.”

It would be recalled that the Chief of Army Staff recently relocated to North-East Nigeria in a bid to coordinate the operations of Operation Lafiya Dole.

*LEADERSHIP | COMMITMENT | STRUCTURE | SYSTEM | PATRIOTISM | EQUALITY | TRANSPARENCY | ACCOUNTABILITY ...LESSONS FOR AFRICAN RULERS*

1. The British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson contracted the novel coronavirus in the line of duty. *#Leadership*

2. Even at that, he continued to discharge his duty from his self-isolation centre. *#Commitment*

3. When his situation became worse and he couldn't carry on any longer, the British Foreign Secretary (Dominic Raab) stepped in for him. *#Structure*

4. He was not taken abroad for treatment. *#System*

5. He got treated at St Thomas Hospital right there in London. *#Patriotism*

6. The hospital is a public hospital where anyone can walk in and be treated. *#Equality*

7. The media has been giving the world constant update about his health. *#Transparency*

8. The opposition party is also wishing him well because he has shown great leadership. *#CountryFirst*

9. When he was moved to the intensive care unit of the hospital, it wasn't shrouded in secrecy. *#Accountability*

In conclusion: Leadership is not about the leader. It is about the people. Until Africans understand this, they will continue to rule (and be ruled) rather than lead (and be led).

*NIGERIA’s COVID-19 FINANCIAL PALLIATIVE MEASURES FOR LOW INCOME EARNERS: LESSONS LEARNT FROM A COUNTRY THAT LACKS DUE PROCESS, ADEQUATE TAXATION AND FISCAL ACCOUNTABILITY*

When I read the news from Business Day today that Nigeria’s Honourable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development - Sadiq Umar Farouq has disbursed the sum of N20,000.00 each as COVID-19 Financial Palliative to 2.6 million low income households in Nigeria I was shocked to my bone marrow.

Can the Honourable Minister please come to the National TV and tell Nigerians the rationale her otherwise good office used in sharing this humongous sum of money to some 2.6 million households in our country? Who are the real beneficiaries of this relief funds? Does the Honourable Minister has an idiot proof record of who got what please?

To be honest, we cannot continue to run Nigeria as a lawless society where fiscal responsibility, accountability, due process and authentic national database does not exist. I opine that to succeed as a nation, at all times, we must embrace the culture of authentic fiscal accountability and real governance system.

Let me please openly advise government that Nigerians are tired of this sort of knee-jerk reactions to disaster management and social development.

As a rule, any serious government should ensure that everyone in the country pays tax annually no matter how little, so long as the person works as an employee, a self-employed person or a business person.

While I agree that it is the duty of government to enforce a transparent and credible tax system in any country, it is also the responsibility of the citizens/residents to ensure that their taxes are properly filed as at when due and in accordance with the revenues and expenditures incurred during the financial year. There should be no if’s and no but’s because tax avoidance is a very serious criminal offence in any civilised country.

At difficult times like this Corona Virus stay at home national challenge, a responsible and responsive government uses the Tax Database to filter out which persons are indeed the low income earners with a view of ensuring that adequate relief measures are extended to them without recurse to undermining fiscal accountability, due process and probity.

How on earth would any serious government audit the funds allegedly disbursed by the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development in relation to this Corona Virus Fiscal Intervention Measures?

We must call a spade a spade by acknowledging that Nigeria’s Fiscal Accountability Framework is grossly flawed and needs very urgent intervention.

We definitely cannot continue in this self-ruin trajectory as a nation. It’s time to organise for Nigeria, government and the governed alike.

May God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria

Pets / The Hyenas Painful Childbirth by Builderman(m): 10:55pm On Mar 24, 2020
This Animal Has The Most Painful Childbirth, It Also Dies During Childbirth.

Yes for the hyena… It is true that among female primates human females are unique in risking death and injury each time they gave birth. The other great apes and primates don’t suffer from this, and I had not really read of other female species that die giving birth to their young. It seems that most other mammals give birth to much tinier tiny babies than humans relative to their body size; I don’t know this as I am just guessing.

However, I think the hyena has the worst childbirth of any mammal.

The female hyena’s birth canal is V-shaped AND twice the usual length for a mammal her size, so that the baby has to travel quite a distance and make a 180 degree turn on its journey into the outside world.

She has no vagina and the birth canal leads into the clitoris, which sticks out 7 inches, rather like a penis (called a pseudo-penis. As the baby is squeezed out through this long clitoris tube, the clitoris itself is stretched and often tears.

Interestingly, this pseudo-penis is her sex organ; yes, that tiny exit hole through her pseudo-penis is where the male hyena penetrates her. Thus, hyena sex is very difficult without the full cooperation of the female. Also, sex seems quite painful for both male and female hyenas. Forced sex is not an option in this female dominated society.

Many first time hyena mothers die giving birth, and 60% of infants being born to first time mothers suffocate and die passing through ‘the eye of this needle’.

4 Deadly Sins That Could Kill A Man Instantly

Sinning is purely human form and we can't help but engage in it despite the fact we all want to make heaven and enjoy eternal life.

Our God is a forgiving God but we shouldn't tempt the lord our God, below are four sins that could cause a man eternal condemnation instantly.

1.) Sleeping with another man's wife for the Bible made known that whosoever does this had committed murder against his own self.

2.) Doubting God's existence and superiority: Doubting if God truly exists or doubting his superiority.

3.) Asking as to how he God was brought into life and onto existence, yup we all the creation story of others.

The Judiciary is weak because Judges have lost courage - Agbakoba

Former President of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) and Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN, Olisa Agbakoba has traced the noticed weakness in the judicial arm of government to the lack of courage by the Judges.

Agbakoba stated that the judiciary has lost itself to intimidation by the executive negating the oath of office taken by the Judges to discharge their duties without fear.

According to him, the judiciary needs more Judges like Justice Ojukwu who granted Sowore bail against all odds.

"The judges take an oath of office and what we have always said in the jurisprudence of being a judge is that no matter the intimidation, the proper course of action a judge is faced with dealing with a decision is to be unconcerned about the consequences. If you don’t have that courage as Justice Ojukwu showed in the Sowore case don’t be a judge.

"Don’t go and start saying that because the government will stop your salary and all that stuff…that’s not the correct attitude and that is precisely why our judiciary is weak. If you like pay them five times their salary if the notion is that they are terrified of what the government will do, they will never live up to their oath."

The Human Rights activist also blamed the NJC for not standing up to uphold the sanctity of the arm of government when it came under severe harassment by the Presidency.

"When the DSS invaded judges’ houses what did the judges do? What did the NJC do? They just sat back and did nothing; they allowed themselves to be decimated. When the Onnoghen thing started what did they do? Nothing, but look at what the Pakistani Supreme Court did when the executive attacked their Chief Justice. So, I think it’s time we stopped this nonsense about always blaming the executives."
