Apparently, David Hundeyin a Nigerian investigative journalist had tweeted over a year ago question why there is no documentary on the origin of Nollywood. David argued that if the true origin is not put out there, a time will come when Nollywood will start receiving Oscar awards and people will make a documentary to distort the true origin of Nollywood. One year later Aisha Lawal in an interview declares that Yorubas founded Nollywood David responded on Twitter by saying what he said a year ago has started already. David clarified that there is a difference between TV programmes and independent movies of the 1970s and 80s and when Nollywood which promoted Nigerian movies as a body started. Look at the dates on David's tweets. Nigerians are reacting on twitter. Who or how many people founded Nollywood. Who coined the term Nolly? Surely. Whoever coined it must be the person or one of those who started it. We need to find the true origin and not distort facts. Europeans distorted our history because we didn't keep proper records.

Ok |
Why is everything around Tinubu Dodgy |
He will start sweating now. If you want to decouple a Nigerian at lies, just ask for evidence. They will start stammering They will hurriedly pay them now. NFF leadership should be sacked |
That guy at the door deserves a medal. Where was he and why was he running like cow. If the Chinese president didn't say someone was coming behind him, you can't just allow him run in that way. If anything happens to Chinese president. the man at the door will be locked away for life |
Stupid project by FG. No government in western world has Charging stations. Private investors are given license to operate in places. Companies have their charging stations. Gas stations sell spaces for people to charge in their building. Government can't manage charging stations. wrong priorities again |
before |
Is it only me that is thinking So if the tribunal nullifies Tinubu's election all these ministers wont have job anymore E go sweet me reach everywhere |
Wike has a mountain to climb in FCT. Hausa people that run FCDA will show him that they own FCT. They will set him up |
Be careful. Do not sow what you can't reap in the future In the eyes of God if both parents have met and agreed to exchange their kids in marriage. That marriage has been concluded. Every other thing is tradition or church ceremonies which is secondary It should also disturb you that she gives you that level of attention. After being engaged. There are 4.5 billion women on earth. Why will i settle with someone who is engaged and someone will be cursing me somewhere. Some people's wahala is self inflicted |
Nigeria everything na movie |
OkukoIgbo:Chief judge of misinformation. Well done sir. The guy who created that topic has since reached out. Apparently, He values my view which sounds flawed to you. Good luck bro |
OkukoIgbo:Read your write up again? Why are you angry? Your life your choices Mate. i simply gave an advice. Chill. This life no hard |
pappilo:It's a had one mate, Do you have any kids from your ex wife. I will strongly recommend you discuss more kids with your new woman. Something comes upon most men when they approach 55 and there is no child that calls or comes around them. Discuss it now and reach an agreement. if you wake up 7 to 10 years from now, she will remind you she told you earlier. Children are pure joy as you age |
The worst that can happen to a man is to train children with pension money. Most men gallivanting today never think about old age. So short sighted. You can't be doing school runs at age 60 because you married late. I dread it. God forbid. If you are struggling to have kids, go and do IVF. forget the bullshit people say. Na your sperm, na your pikin. get ready for old age. If you are 35 years. You have spent half of your life on earth already except God give you extra bread. At 60, you should be planning retirement. last born is planning to move out of the house and you are ready to tour the world with your wife. I dread old age without money. That's the only fear i have. So i am now investing in my children while i have the money and the energy There are fake boys and fake men out there but there are good ones also. If you postponed because you think you will find in the future. Hey, that future is not guaranteed. find a good woman and wife her now. Don't look for a perfect woman as you are not one. We always set high and unrealistic expectations for the other person forgetting that we are all far from perfection. Don't marry just who you love, marry who you can Tolerate their madness. All of us dey craze last last. Love and beauty doesn't sustain marriage. Naa. Tolerance and Trust does. |
Whats on your contract? You need to honour it. The alternative is leave with immediate effect and pay back your current company whatever is the difference. Remember you will still need them for reference |
And this is to be celebrated |
After years in school see They will say Print 4 copies. 1 for the faculty. 1 for the department. 1 for the supervisor. 1 for you. All in the bin. Welcome to Nigeria. This is still the practice till today. We dont preserve knowledge.
|
Na mumu dey go UK now. Except to school and return Their new visa fee is pure financial slavery |
It's a smart move on his part but too late He needs to please FCT people but it's too late |
The biggest mistake we will make will be determined by how we handle Niger coup. If the crisis escalates to Russia versus USA. Then west Africa is doomed |

A long-awaited vaccine for malaria has been announced for rollout across 12 African countries over the next two years, potentially saving tens of thousands of lives. An initial 18m doses of the world’s first malaria vaccine have been assigned to the countries where the risk of children falling ill and dying from malaria is highest, according to a statement from the global vaccine alliance Gavi, the World Health Organization (WHO) and Unicef. This vaccine has the potential to be very impactful in the fight against malaria, and when broadly deployed alongside other interventions, it can prevent tens of thousands of deaths every year,” said Thabani Maphosa, the managing director of country programmes delivery at Gavi. Another 16 African countries have asked for access to the vaccine and will be hoping for supplies when production has been scaled up. The vaccine, named RTS,S/AS01, was declared “safe and effective” in reducing deaths and severe illness after being given to 1.7 million children in Ghana, Kenya and Malawi since 2019. It will now be given to Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Liberia, Niger, Sierra Leone and Uganda, with doses expected to arrive in the final quarter of this year. Unicef’s associate director of immunisation, Ephrem T Lemango, said the vaccine will help fight a disease that kills almost half a million children under five in Africa every year. “For a long time, these deaths have been preventable and treatable; but the rollout of this vaccine will give children, especially in Africa, an even better chance at surviving. As supply increases, we hope even more children can benefit from this life-saving advancement,” he said. Ghana is first country to approve Oxford malaria vaccine The vaccine is being produced by GlaxoSmithKline but with an expected 60m doses needed each year by 2026, the Indian company Bharat Biotech will soon also be involved in supply. Dr Kate O’Brien, the director of immunisation, vaccines and biologicals at the WHO, said the vaccine is a breakthrough for malaria-affected communities. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/global-development/2023/jul/06/safe-and-effective-first-malaria-vaccine-to-be-rolled-out-in-12-african-countries This was posted on LinkedIn. budaatum:Read the post again. It doesn't suggest a woman who has no feet to stand. The post clearly says for her to start business. Meaning she didn't have any. May I chip in that, you have the means doesn't mean it has to happen. My wedding with my wife almost 10 years ago cost us 6.5million. My wife and I are doing very well. One day she woke up and asked me, why did we spend that much for our wedding just to dance and eat for few ours. She spent fortune for her wedding gown. We travelled outside the country to shop for wedding. The 6.5 million was just for the ceremony. Today, we both say it was childish. Simply impressing people that dont care. The most important thing in wedding is the pictures and video. Keep memories. Nothing more. Planning for 10 year anniversary. She said no way. We won't gather people to feed them anymore. She now prefers a weekend gate away and that's all. People do a lot to impress friends and family in weddings. It's a show off. |
LADIES!! After Traditional marriage Your hubby ask you to choose between #3.3m to start a business or white wedding. Only one option What will you choose |

Children are the purest souls. No worries, no bitterness. You beat them. 2 mins they are hugging you. This is what satan wants to destroy my Adam marrying steve |
Good one. The west in the next 20 years will reduce their age of consent. The LGBTQ agenda is on. After that, they will question the age of consent and ask that it be reduced or removed. |

To get this "student loan," you need to bring a Director-level civil servant or a lawyer with 10 years post-call history, or a judge. Why would anyone who has access to these people need a student loan?If the student or their parents have ever defaulted on "any previous loan" (i.e if they have missed payments on Palmpay, Opay and Lapo before), they are not allowed to apply for the loan! The Civil Service Director or the judge or the 10 year post-call lawyer serving as guarantor must then write a letter promising to pay the loan if the student doesn't pay it. They must attach their employment letter or CAC registration document to the letterAnd finally! "Disbursement shall be on availability of funds" which means in plain English, "Even if you jump through all these hoops, we cannot guarantee that we will actually have the money."

LET ME GET INTO PEOPLE'S RAGE BECAUSE I NO DEY HEAR WORD.... I had my reservation with OPM Pastor and his penchant for catching up on trending issues to display his philanthropy..... ...while doing it, you will hear him say things like..."this is what offering and tithe is meant for and not for enjoying, ofcourse, showing you that he is better than the rest....Pastor Chibuzor, I dare say craves for the validation of the world for being different and he got and still getting loads of such praise.... ...even though I know pastors their scholarship budgets run in billions, on a well planned route of from admission to graduation without abandonment....non are in competition of showing how they are saving humanity and others are not doing it right. I have a problem when the center of your message is about comparative analysis, it deadens your gift for me. Pastor Chibuzor's Bible talked about he who want to build a tower, first sitting down and counting the cost esle, he won't be able to finish the project and be a laughing stock....e dey Bible YOU CANNOT PICK UP TWO NAIVE BOYS, TAKE THEM TO CYPRUS AND SUDDENLY STOP FUNDING THEM.....YOU ARE EXPOSING THEM TO ALL KINDS OF VICES INCLUDING PEDDLING OF DRUGS ON THE STREET OF CYPRUS... You see, this subject is sensitive, in a nation where every Uzo Kalu or Tinubu can buy the heart of millions with a form of Philanthropy, you better be careful how you speak to such "benevolent gods".... except of course you no dey hear word like me. ....but I must say this, there are loads of planless showy philanthropy associated with Pastor Chibuzor's projects...I noticed those shoddy affairs during the rehabilitation of one Nollywood old man. I repeat, when you pull someone out and award him scholarship and promise to help them become something in life, it is unfair to leave them in the middle of nowhere... Apostle Chibuzor should, if he is sincere about scholarships have a scholarship board just like many that I know....this board will be responsible for planning and taking the number of students they can cater for per time.....this board will be operating on meticulous budget and not respond to every trending request that can be abandoned later... The Happy boys did not send themselves to Cyprus, their parent are too poor to cater for that, they had no relative to bankroll them....all these information was known to Apostle Chibuzor before he dived into their lives...there was an option of training them in a skill that can help them stand, there was an option of Nigerian university scholarship, there was too many options that the money spent on their trip to Cyprus could afford with a little bit of planning and non impulsive decision by an attention buoyed philanthropy. Finally, I take exception to our clergy's penchant for laying curses on "civil matters" ....I read a report that Apostle laid curses on them and I asked, why? As clergy, don't just flow with anointing or whatever spiritual force pushing you, as the people under you are growing in number and capacity, do well to grab some management course and study, do lots of work on temperament coaching..... listen sir, we cannot operate in verbatim Elijah's " fire come down and consume the 50's" in 2023... Over 2,000 years ago, Jesus laid a template that is a lot more of a departure from Elijah fire and brimstone days, so why are you on it in 2023?....... Yes, power as of the old is good but use Jesus templates of using those powers instead of always fishing from the old testament streams. |
