Decades later, the lineages of our ancestors are selling their ancestral properties, and using the fruit of their sweats to buy visa and japa to "their" countries to become 4th class citizens and become cash cow to their government and slaves to their marital laws.
E no go better for African leaders sha. No wonder as a race we have the lowest IQ.
Anyways, if you still thinking of japaing, understand that the political temperature is changing in Europe. The leftist who valued, supported, and enabled globalization are currently being booted out. Meaning the conservatives are taking over. Expect very harsh policies towards immigrants in the coming decades. Many of you who are about to enter and those who have been there for decades will very (read: VERY) likely be deported back to your home countries. Cameroon isn't okay. I say it with my full chest. No African country is worth going to hustle if you aren't going there with millions of naira to be converted to million of CFA to be used for business. Those countries are not worth. Please stay put in Nigeria for your mental health sake and rather only move to a developed country I travelled from the UK to visit a friend there. Security and business wise it very good. No job for foreigners but a man with good business mind you will make it. The developed countries you're talking about if , you go there with the correct mindset , you will make it if not, one get frustrated and leave the country. USA and UK money comes and goes but in these countries, you can still do business in Nigeria and make it between both countries. 2 Likes |

Romance / Re: My Encounter With A Pretty Blue Eye Cameroonian Girl by bull67: 9:22am On May 01 |
grandlexuz: As I sat down at a conspicuous corner of the restaurant impatiently waiting for the waiteress to deliver my plate of crocodile pepper soup, my mind wondered if I rather take it home to savour the delicacy. Sixty seven steps seperated my house from the bushmeat restaurant in Bekoko, outskirts of Douala, Cameroon.
It was a popular joint drawing people from main town Douala; Cameroon's economic capital. On a good day you could meet several delicacies ranging from Python, Crocodile, Gecko Lizard, Antelope, Alligator, Porcupine, Rat Mole etc. Call it the Wuhan restaurant of Cameroon, if you may. I prefered the reptiles at a time when I was watching my cholesterol levels to boost my heart health. Having encountered giant rats with lipstick painted lips in Douala, rat moles were definitely a no go area.
As my eyes wondered about the semi open spaced restaurant surrounded by bushes, the struck a beauty to behold. It had been a while since I admired any specie from the other gender; having been wrecklessly abandoned by my wife at a time of ill health. So what was happening? My eyes had behold an African lady with dark blue eyes. Dont they say the eyes are the pathway way to the heart..
Most Africans have brown pupils with a few carrying genetic mutations that give their eyes different shades of hazel. A true blue - coloured pupil is quite rare for an African. I had read a bit on rare eye colours and did know there were a few Africans out there with this rare eye colour. Who would have thought I would meet one right at my door steps.
Needless to say I didnt have to take home my food after eyeing this blue eye chick. As I tore through my crocodile meat, my eyes never swayed from her angle. After the meal I ordered a bottle of malta just so I could spend more time at the restaurant looking at her. When I had my fill several hours later I left for my house completely satisfied with the eigth wonder of the day.
Two days later, I went back to the restaurant hoping to be lucky. This time around I met a shocker. Same girl was there. Only this time with eyes darker than mine.. So na contact lense this girl be put. So na cos of contact lense I buy double plate of crocodile, two malta, shidonc for bar for two hours. . Anyway I no blame her. Na China I blame. ha ha ha ha ha that's fake life |

But just across from AkwaCross, one would be disappointed that the Cameroonians don't match the AkwaCross neighbors in terms of good cooking and sense for good combination of food eg imagine someone wants 'local snack' of soaked garri and fried fish in Nigeria, a Cameroonian will prefer soaked garri and fried egg etc I think you live in Cameroon? I know you can get ice machines from the UK from N250,000 which are capable of producing up to 35kg of ice every 24 hours (if that is roughly the sort of capacity you would require). I think these machines are priced according to their output every 24 hours. . . Business To Business / Re: Ice Block Making Machine by bull67: 6:25am On Mar 26 |
shobusag: I am back. This tym around, with happiness.... partly thanks to the information I got from this thread and the biggest thanks to God almighty. I had a very big success in this business since November last year. I had several challenges when I started the business, most especially in the areas of light, faulty transformer and faulty engines. I gave up several times and put up my machines for sale two times (at a very cheap rate) but God blinded the eyes of potential buyers. I have two machines each with a capacity of 100 blocks. I was very much able to manage the machines so well n doubling d engine of one, i relocated from my previous area. I can proudly say that after expenses, I made nothing less than 400k monthly since November. For two years which I have been in this biz, I finally feel that I have started reaping the fruit of my expenses and perseverance. I praise and thank God almighty for not letting me sale the machines. I thank nuclear boy and the rest for their information that partly helped me in building my first machine. It was a heartbreaking journey but I am glad God saw me through and I succeeded. My first business suffered a lot financially coz of this iceblock business, but now this ice block business is inturn feeding my first business hugely. By the way i have two workers that run the two businesses for me (man no b leather). Infact, I have started planning for next summer while this summer isnt yet over. Since this summer was my first to enjoy the business. I use fear enter am while others into the business were scooping the money. My plan now is to double the engine of the other machine by next week (remember i said i successfully doubled one). Maintain them through the incoming raining season and before October, purchase another machine more powerful than any of my two machines (probably a combined 9hp with 150 blocks or above). Next summer, people will know that God has a reason for letting me stay put in this business. I bless God for everything. I will leave an update from time to time. I'm very much interested in this business but before going into it I will like to know the up and downs. Both me and my wife have been planning this for long but afraid. Please could we communicate through my email please. ealli45@yahoo.co.uk. Thanks |

Truth, truth and truth.
Nigeria is having problems because 99.9% of the inhabitants are liars, cheaters and that area is full of lazy and dishonest set of individuals.
How will someone be selling cloths during office hours? How will a sensible person expect you to pay them for what the govt already pays them for? A market woman will reduce the module size to 9 cups instead of 10 to make more profit . The upper class will buy dollars from the govt and resell at high rates using their BDC instead of what they were approved for....
If everyone in Nigeria moved to a developed nation and all the inhabitants of that nation move to Nigeria, In few years we will all start applying for Nigeria visa again.
Literal translation of a proverb in my language talk say behaviour na like smoke, e go come out wherever you go. Over 40% of Nigerians abroad are still shit heads.
you are right. Nowadays I try to avoid them. The few of us that have lived in Scotland with our families for long time had no problems with the police. Now some new inflow of Nigerians have now invited the cops to do stop and search to every nigerian or black person driving in the area. Nigerian wives calling police to arrest husbands, dads beating their children with belts, driving without no licence, picking up kids late from school e.t.c I can go on and on. |

After independence we messed everything up and give room to fulani to destroy our farm land. Oyinbos are into agriculture big time. Netherlands which has a 44 thousand square kilometres land exports 100 millions in agricultural products. Nigeria that has land mass of 900 million square kilometres can't even feed its population. Are we crazy? And our politicians can't use part of stollen money to invest in agriculture but but properties in UK and America! Naa oyinbo give us problem or we give ourselves? 3 Likes |

Many of them are so stuck now that they can't even be as sincere to themselves as he is.
It's nothing but a wrong mindset to think that you will resent your own land/ country and expect that you will prosper on that land or overseas, it's impossible!
When you are not blessed in Nigeria, it's not because others are not doing well here in Nigeria, for most of you, you were horribly raised with the wrong mindset and indoctrinated to hate Nigeria by some of your parents who were part of those behind the multiple problems now facing the nation so you ended up and continued your life in a circle of negative minded unpatriotic people. You curse Nigeria, the land curses you back in multiple folds and nothing you sow in the land will prosper but if you bless Nigeria, the land blesses you back in multiples.
Until you wish Nigeria well and do your best in patriotism, you will never be blessed by this land and if you carry your resentment and hatred for Nigeria overseas, the rejection by Nigeria will follow you like your shadow.
The grass is always greener on the other side until you get there. What you are doing here in Nigeria is so valuable that if you nurture it well, you will one day be going overseas for business/ professional travels and enjoy vacations with your family and friends. And even if you still don't go overseas, you will be happy, safe, fulfilled and blessed here in Nigeria.
God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs! I live abroad here in the UK and have no regrets of doing so. People relocate not just because of money but other things too. If you love your country and you see things that are not right, their is nothing bad in complaining about that. A lady that came to Nigeria built a business and employed Nigerians and later got killed by her staffs is something to complain about. Another lady that came with her kids to Bury her mother and was shoot on her way to ibadan with her kids in the car, thank God the kids were alive. I myself was scammed by some custom officers when I was into import and export business in the early 2000s. I have been robbed and kidnapped once, you can't say we can't speak against evil. Has an ex fire fighter my pension in the UK is over 20k+ state pension 203 a week equals to 800+ a month. I have 2 houses that can pay me rent if I come back to Nigeria. If your village people are not after you abroad is better. My big brother spent 30 years in the army and his pension is 50k naira a month. I support him with 100k every month. My daughter is 27 and earns 47k + 24k side business per annum. No hookup or sugar daddy. We are not stupid for relocating except those that are not wise. 3 Likes 2 Shares |
