Family / Re: Should I Be Concerned About Marrying A 39yrs Old Woman? by Bullman(m): 2:19pm On Jan 24
Smile4mee01:
I'm a single 39yr old Nigeria guy in diaspora trying to settle down and going to Nigeria to marry is not an option.

I'm an introvert who has been through some childhood trauma in my family and really fear marriage because of what I have seen and how bad it can be sometimes.

However, an old female friend and colleague of mine who we worked together in Nigeria and now in canada recently contacted me and she is also single and not had children. She is doing well for herself and now a citizen there while I'm not. A part of me is concerned about

1. Fertility : I desire children. However, can she have me healthy children @ 39. How many can she have? I discussed us trying for a child , she appears to want a.marriage first. But what gurantees do I have to have children.

Should I be concerned? I dont want to enter one chance.

Please I use God beg you, no insults just advice. Abeg. God bless you.

If you truly love her, our opinion shouldn't count.

Celebrations as Gambian "baddie" bride passes her virginity test, gets cash gift from her husband

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q47mwyaobQw

A bride, Meta Mbye received D28,000 from her elated husband which coverts to 300,000 in Naira, after passing her virginity test.

"The husband was so happy that was why he gave her D28,000, which was placed under her pillow,” a relative said.

A video shared on TikTok shows family members celebrating after the test as a lot people thought she was no longer 'pure' because of her "baddie" lifestyle.

Gambian muslims and divorce are like 5 and 6..
Then again 28k dalasi is about 500k in naira not 300k.
Funny this guy is my next door neighbor lol..
And for the over hype on virginity'

6k dalasi is 100k plus .. naira is gone

Good day nairalanders

I have heard and seen some people who say that on their first date they had sex with the person they are having that date with, and to me it looks weird,it's simply put 'absurd'

Well I don't know what you may think about this but I believe that it is makes you look cheap, makes you look as a person who has no moral boundaries, it reduces your worth before that fellow and generally makes you look s*upid before the fellow even if they won't tell you.

I think it's quite odd and nothing pleasant that you are meeting someone for the first time and what comes to your mind is going to bed with such a person, it ain't funny and it's something that should be discouraged.

That's my humble opinion
What do you think

Sex on the first date doesn't make you wh0re,
Waiting after three to six months won't make you a wife either.

Car Talk / Re: Where It's Safe To Sleep In Your Car Overnight In Nigeria by Bullman(m): 11:13pm On Nov 23, 2023
ibinaboonline:
We all know life is unpredictable and anyone can find themselves in a planned or unplanned situation where they have to spend the night outside. If you have a car or you are in a car, wouldn't you want to know the safest, preferably free of charge, places to just park the car and sleep inside till morning?

In the USA, people often find themselves homeless and have to resort to sleeping and living out of their cars. We've just published an article about the safest and legal places to sleep your car if you're homeless in America, and now I feel a bit guilt and compulsion to create a similar title to educate Nigerians.

The problem is I'm having a hard time identifying parking spots safe enough to encourage stranded people to go there, park, and sleep in their cars till morning. I thought of Nigerian churches too. Would they allow strangers to habitually park at night and leave in the morning without any obligation to join the church?

So, I'm hoping you guys can help me out here with your inputs, comments, opinions, and ideas. I'll like to create an article on this topic, but I'm depending on your comments. Please mods, move this post to the front page.

Below is the link to our newly published article about sleeping overnight in your car in America:

Besides some naija women still love truely.
But still I believe there is nothing like pure love. The only love that exists and beyond is transactional love.

What I'm tryna say is that the above countries i mentioned you can date women that are far above your league and they won't Bleep with your self esteem or make u feel less of a man ,
Not like in Nigeria that once a girl is heavily endowed she's only available for the highest bidder and if you lucky to be with her insecurities go wan wound u .
Ain't like that in the above countries.. most south African women , Kenyan, rwandan ivorians gambians have very nice curves and they are still very lovely and down to earth..

Those greedy bastard white guys knew too well from the beginning that democracy will never work in Africa, yet they merged different tribes with different cultures to create different countries..
Now ask your self why Belgium and France ain't one country ?
Austra Germany Liechtenstein and probably poland
Czech republic n Slovakia ?
Italy and Switzerland ?
Spain and Portugal ?
Even the ones that merged during Tito of Yugoslavia (croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina Slovenia ) and Soviet union all broke up because of they all share different view on politics
Mind you all the above countries share very similar culture and their languages ain't really different.
But they are all independent countries .
How African countries were created is the main reason Africa will forever remain a 3rd world .

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Share Your Experiences Working In A Private Company In Nigeria" by Bullman(m): 12:57pm On Nov 20, 2023
emekabassey:
My story is going to be long and the experience is far from pleasant

I worked for Fouani NIgeria Limited, the customer service department.
The manager is Lebanese, most will think this is enough justification for the way he acts but all other deartments in the company(that I know of) all have Lebanese managers but their story is so different from ours aside from the general issue of not giving employment/appointment letters, most these complaints is peculiar to that department of the company

Our manager does not allow any form of interaction amongst worker as you can be terminated for turning your head in the office, as in say you just turn neck o. Someone was terminated for laughing after office hours, work don close o and baba say the guy laugh and the next day na termination straight. Your job security depends on his mood, as he might just decide to terminate you with the excuse of 'we dont want you anymore'

Approval of leave is at his mercy, I can remember a staff, although she was due for 1 week leave, this man denied her despite the fact that this lady was seriously ill, he made her come to work even with the drip connected to her body as he told her she will be terminated if she doesnt work. This lady fainted twice at work that day and had to choose her life by resigning.

This is just one of the many cases of staffs that were terminated because they were absent from work because of illness even after informing he resumed with a medical report after being unable to come to work for 2 days and in this man's word "sorry, you can go home and rest. You will see your salary at the end of the month" That was the end of it.

This man has made the work environment so toxic and it is not strange to see staffs crying after leaving his office as he talks to staffs as if Nigerians are lesser humans, he called a teamlead a slut and accused her of sleeping with her team members because she does not deduct staff break, he threatened Samiat and promised to destroy her because the young lady wanted to quit and go for her youth service.

This man makes it his office policy to to limit staffs restroom usage to 7 minutes, anything beyond this can get you break deductions, warning letters and even termination. Whereas he who sets the rules spends 30 minutes in the restroom (You and I know that no one can control nature).

A Muslim staff was terminated for dosing during ramadan(this man na muslim o, and he prays 5 times daily) and so many others that I can't mention all that have face similar cases on a daily basis. He employs today and terminate tomorrow with a reliable reasons. There is a post on nairaland as far back as 2020 about this man.

Work time is Monday to Saturday 7:50AM to 5:30PM with no visible compensation for working overtime instead he tells you he is doing you a favor and you will get as much as 5,000 deducted from your salary which is more than double of our daily income.

Staffs break are deducted x3 of the minutes they came late to work despite the fact that their salaries will be deducted for same reason. I heard they protested against that recently and the break deductions has been stopped and replaced with more salary deductions for being late 1 minute past the resumption time of 7:50am, not even a grace period of 10minutes.

I made a more detailed post some weeks back on this man, e no easy at all.

If you have an advice for the people still there and know of a way for these ill to be corrected, please reach out and drop your comments as every bit of info here has evidence to back it up

Do you know where he lives ?
I will like to pay him a visit
If you know what that means .

ArewaHouse:
[sup][/sup]Arewa Female Rappers
Rapping is a popular form of music in Arewa, but it is not very common for females to rap. Most of the hip-hop artists in the region are males, such as DJ AB, Morell, Classiq, Deezell, and others. However, there are some Arewa female rappers who have made their mark in the northern Nigerian hip-hop scene. Here are some of them:

Haddy Rappia

Haddy Rappia is a female rapper from Kaduna who started rapping at the age of 17. Her real name is Hadiza Ya’u and she specializes in the hip-hop genre of ‘Gambara’, which is similar to street rap or diss tracks. She has released several songs, such as ‘No Be Like You’, ‘Bounce’, and ‘Dey Dey’. She is also known for her collaborations with other artists, such as DJ Cee, Zlatan, and Naira Marley.

Princess Mufeedah
One of the best Arewa female rappers from Nigeria who has made a name for herself is Princess Mufeedah. She was born in Maiduguri but moved to Abuja when she was young. She studied at the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and started rapping when she was 16. Mufeedah won the CAFE award for the most promising Arewa female hip-hop artist in 2016/17.

Princess Mufeedah is known for her fast and witty lyrics, as well as her catchy beats and melodies. Some of her popular songs are ‘Sixteen’, ‘Hot Spot’, ‘Leg Chain’, ‘Ruwan Jiki’, ‘Ji Mana’, and ‘Baza Freestyle’. Mufeedah also sings in English, which is rare among Nigerian rappers. Her biggest influence is Nicki Minaj, whom she admires for her style and skills.

Princess Mufeedah is not only a rapper but also an actress. She played the role of Salma in the hit series Kwana Casa’in, which aired on Arewa 24. The series is a comedy-drama that follows the lives of four friends who live together in Abuja.

Inability to drive has deprived me opportunity from getting a job and as I don't have money to pay and be trained by a driving school, I decided to use online resources to learn it.

Steps:

Put the car on neutral before turning it on or press the clutch pedal if it's on gear.

Start the car

Press the accelerator pedal and release your foot from the clutch pedal slowly and the car is on motion.

Press the clutch pedal again to change gear.

Press the break pedal alongside the clutch pedal to slow down and bring the car to a stop.

And so on.

With these, I pray I'm good as I am about to pick up a driving job.

Pray for me and other road users.

I can't stay jobless anymore especially with penniless pocket.

God help me.

geunik:

If it has already been done, do this. Choose a day the tank is empty. Lock the tank. Switch off all your electricity. Note at the meter reading. Pump the tank full. Read the meter again. Calculate the total amount of unit use.
Estimate the number of times the machine will be use. Multiply it by that amount plus 7 extra. Calculate a unit to naira and estimate total in naira.
There you have it
I got an inventory management software for pharmacy in Nigeria

This will fail if he ain't getting regular voltage from the transformer.
Pumping machine works faster when d light is full and consumes less unit.
When d light is hanging between full and low it will take way longer before the tanks get refilled .

However the tenants come to dialogue and agreed to tap electricity from my own prepaid meter to the pumping machine in agreement that each tenant will be paying me 1000naira monthly. So I want to know if 5k can be enough to run pumping machine for a month?
