IdomaLikita: Good afternoon people, I am about to surprise my Elder sister who has PCOS that has resulted in 9years of subfertility and 2 ivf failures with 1million naira to restart her ivf trials again. She's in Taraba with the Husband, thus the closest place for her is abuja. As much I as know the fluidity of outcomes of this procedure, I also recognize that informed decisions do alter the prognosis abit. In this regard, I would like to know the following.
1. Which ivf center is the most cost-effective in abuja( she and and husband are having financial setbacks so I shall be paying most of the way?)
2. Which one is most flexible in terms of appointments and followup considering their location which makes travelling for Cycle correction and ovarian hyperstimulation inevitable.?
3. I know your chances increase with more cycles.. Which ivf center is the cheapest ast for multiple back to back cycles if néed.
My questions are not exhaustive, this couple have done in Nisa premier and India without success before stumbling upon hard times which is making feeding difficult how much more ivf.. My prayer is that this gesture kickstarts some progress in their lives.
Comments are welcome. Thank you my Queens God bless u for this gesture sir. Why don't u try fertilaid in gwarinpa abuja. A lot have women have gotten success there. U can do ur findings |

UjuJoan2: Did you send them away because you really couldn't afford it, or because you just want to be pretty and wicked?
You already housed them for 5weeks, 3 extra weeks would have not killed you.
Life is all about giving consessions and making compromises. Sometimes you have to bend to accommodate people, not because you have no choice, but because you want to.
If it were me, I will let them stay the two months before sending them away. And then I will make it clear that they will no longer be allowed.
I would do this not for in-laws, or for my wife (or husband), but for Providence, who has it possible that I will in the position to offer this kind of help to someone else.
The world is very small and tomorrow is not that far away. I wonder how those boys you unceremoniously threw out of your house will feel about you now. Taaah... |

Mummy4life1: To God be ALL the glory, I got my BFP and Blood test confirmed it. The IVF/ICSI(One ovary, 6 follices was seen, 2embryo was transferred and 600thousand sperm count) was done at Kingswill fertility hospital at Festac after 7years and 10month waiting, he gave me and my husband birthday gift! This is coming after over 7years and 10month of TTC. I prayed to God to show me mercy.
*RESEARCH, research & more research! Pls. don’t put yourself 100% in ANY doctor’s hands without researching your options & being able to request whatever will benefit you and support from a lot of people on the group
*Insisting on the cancellation because of the two embryo but the doctor encourage me to proceed that God can perform wonder's.
In this successful cycle my lining was 9.4mm before intro of progesterone & 11.1mm on day of embryo Transfer.
*Castor oil pack on tummy almost daily for about two weeks
*Sometimes soaking feet in hot water for 20 minutes, before bed (also to increase blood flow to uterus) before retrieval
* Taking pineapple core for five days after transfer
*Insisting on Day 5 transfer: I had made up my mind after research that even if all our embryos appeared to be struggling, no Day 2 or 3 transfer; if they all died before Day 5, so be it. Luckily we had 80% ICSI fertilisation. *After the transfer, taking DAILY injections (with Dr’s permission) 2ml Gestone and 400mg cyclogest; quite painful & bum already feels like a pin cushion but for me no sacrifice is too much.
What I’ve learnt (the hard way) on my long, long TTC journey: No doctor, spouse, family or friend, can desire my success more than my own self: I am my own best advocate! My sisters, despite glowing recommendations of any fertility clinic/Dr, do your own research. Never be afraid to ask questions and always try to go with your gut feelings; run/’talk to your feet’ if you have integrity concerns about any of them; I have also learned that though often tedious and inconvenient, it pays to try to prepare as much as one humanly can (castor oil, massage, foot soak, taking Dhea, vit c, vit e, vit d and folic acid etc), before the embryo transfer and above all, to always pray for God’s mercy & intervention
Thank you to the mummies in the house for support. The Almighty that started his miracle will perfect it to nine month. My prayer is that God will answer every one too. Love you All Congrats once more sis |

Iamajoyfulmothe: Hello ladies
I used to be quite active in this group about 2 years ago but went quiet as I tried to take my mind off TTC matters.
To the glory of God, I now have a daughter born earlier this year. This morning, I have come to pray from the depth of my heart that God Almighty will fill your wombs even more than he filled mine. This joy that motherhood has given me, may you all experience it within the next 12 months. Before the end of this year, may you forget any pain your waiting period caused you just as I have forgotten mine. Amen and amen and amen Amin Amin... Thanks for the wonderful prayer |

Its a very good deal. Go for it. Hsg alone in some places is 20k. Hormonal profile is 2k-3k each. So it's very good. U start testing from day 3 of ur period. For progesterone u test on CD 21.
