If he seeks job after education and he is relying on geology he will be severely disappointed. That's why I have my earlier advice of petroleum or production engineering. Ps in the oil and productive sector in nigeria if 10 people are wanted tfor employment 8 would be engineers and 2 would be geosciences. So that would give you an idea of job opportunities as a geologist

The sad reality is that the 8 engineers only about 2 would be pet engr and nah still connect.
I will be doing oceanography cause that's what gives me joy.I have something doing outside of geology fetching me decent income.
