I have confirmed with people who have direct access to the palace and they say that the father must prostrate in the palace and even remove his cap

However he cannot prostrate to him publicly

From my understanding, any time the father will visit the son in the palace, the son would not sit on the 'aga' oba. It's only when the son sits on the 'aga' oba that everybody prostrate for him.. Me I don't know what obtains in the palace oh
