Give her some space and meet new people. You crave her attention and she's not giving it to you. Women have this way of wronging their and still make the man apologize for it.

Nigeria or Nigerians? The Government is not the one importing human hair and $5000 whiskey - all of which have zero economic value.

By the way, the bolded is an exaggeration. Nigeria exports agricultural commodities and some minerals. Nigeria also receives USD for services, movies and creative activities. It exports gas and yes even electricity. These figures may not be as significant as crude oil but to say it does not export anything is an exaggeration.
What agricultural produce do we export? Do you even realize it's cheaper to buy rice from neighbouring cotonou?

Pls how much was the debt, drugs and food you were able to pay off with 12k all of a sudden? Seriously this guilt-trip isn't gonna help instead be honest in whatever travail you tryna portray.
I beg to know, is it a joke that 8k could start either of those trade you mentioned or just an avenue to pull more support.
Anyway i am never against peeps asking for financial help but be honest as you go about it.
Debby on Twitter came in all honesty with a sincere heart and she got more than what she could've dreamt of.
And again, stop using "Late husband" "kids" as it's becoming stale. There are home service jobs you could get that require no skills or better still there are women in the market, even with babies strapped to their back, who take merchandise and sells in same market thereby remit at the dawn of the day.
Work it out. Wish you well.
It's very simple psychology. The whole idea of 8k is to make it look so meagre so someone would contribute more tor him ti start his imaginary business. Useless fraudster s making it difficult for people who genuinely need assistance to get help.

Depends where you farm or reside.
That's the problem isn't it?

The places with the lands suitable for farming are plagued with many problems, the biggest of them being insecurity.

That's a big lie Nigeria exports a lot of things too but in some quantities.

The ratio of what Nigeria exports is like 5% to 95% of what it imports .
Asides crude. Nigeria doesn't export anything and the little it gets from crude sales is either used ti service debt, mismanaged or looted.

Farming
Farming is not as it used to be.

We have a situation now where farmers are maimed, attacked, or forced to pay levies before they can harvest their produce.

We need more measures to improve the economy

There should be urgent review of the current economic and monetary policies.

There's just too many sides to this
Nigeria imports literally everything and exports nothing.

I didn't receive any sms debit alert or email. I just went straight to my banking app and checked my balance and noticed the 18k reduction
money can't just disappear from your account without a debit. Same way you can't just find money in your account except someone credits you.

How many people earn up to 100k in a month? The factory workers, the artisans and the labourers, the people doing menial jobs make up over 50 percent or the Nigerian workforce and most of them earn less than 100k. So much for a country that struggles to pay attention 30k minimum wage.

If you spend 1200 daily on transportation, You'll have spent almost half 300k in a month, thats assuming you don't work weekends. If you can work weekends you
will have spent almost half 400k in a month. Add 400k to be your current rent and you'll still have spent up to 500k a month. Put if you put ear for ground put the word out,, you fit get apartment less than that 500k. You fit even see something within 300k range sef. Me wey dey talk no fit stay for apartment of 300k except im earning that exact amount. I no fit use morethan my one month earnings sort my annual rent.

I would continue to echo it, what Nigeria need now is a reset back to default mode and its the military that can do such except they want the masses to hit the street which of course would be bloody with lots of destructions would follow...!!

No matter how bad a military government is in Nigeria, this current administration is 100 times worst...!!
Exactly. I can't imagine a military regime will be any worse than what we are already facing.

That is why the only realistic solution is a complete restructuring from top to bottom. Too much power is concentrated at the centre. Why won't they kill each other to become president when occupying that position means that they have created generational wealth for themselves and their great, great, great, great grand children?

Let's assume Nigeria was practicing true federalism with regional governments. If Nigeria was practicing true federalism where most political and economic power is with regions, Tinubu would not be able to sit down in Abuja and award oil wells in Akwa Ibom and Rivers State to his cronies from the South West and the North. The power for who gets to decide such issues would be with the people of the Niger Delta. That would mean that if anything went wrong, they would only have themselves to blame because they would be in charge of their own financial and economic survival.

The same goes for insecurity. If every region had its own police force which was not being controlled from Abuja, most of the herdsmen and bandit attacks taking place in the Middle Belt and South would not be happening.

In some African countries like Ethiopia, the regions are so strong that they even have their own armies. Why can't Nigeria do the same?

Who'll advocate and make these laws when tge people who are supposed to do it are the ones benefiting from the present system? Things are the way they are because the current systems enriches and benefits the elites. And let's not even talk about the Nigerian people taking back the country. The masses are not ready.

Ya think?

DO you know we are still recovering Abacha loot up till today. Man wey die over 2 decades ago? We have not even talked about IBB loot, or the Gulf oil windfall, or a host of other corruption scandals in Nigeria of today, or of roundtripping that was live under army rule.

And why are you using 'they looted less' to justify army rule. Even if they looted less, they still LOOTED. And they made a mess of our economy even.
Under the Jonathan regime some 20billion dollars mysteriously disappeared into thin air. Sanusi exposed it and got fired. Under the same r regime billions of dollars were allocated for procuring arms to some terrorist group the government had a hand in creating. Under Buhari the accountant general of federation was indicted in a corruption case ti the tune of over 100billion naira. There are many others. Betta Edu is under the ministry of humanitarian resources. And this is just one ministry. Let the military take over abeg. Let the worst happen.

When Abacha, Babangida, Buhari were military heads of state, do you think it was only their fellow soldiers who were looting? Plus most Nigerian soldiers are functionally illiterate. We saw it with Buhari. Can you imagine if Buhari was a military leader and he held on to power for 20 years? Nigerians would be eating food from dustbins and dropping dead on the streets.

I understand your stance. The point I'm trying to make is Nigeria is on the brink of collapse. There's nothing working in this country as it stands today. It generates and produces nothing and the little it's got that's barely enough to get around, still ends up getting misappropriated and stolen by our thieving leaders.

Ha

Under army rule, a lot of civillans too were doing looting. NO be just army, their civilian helpers, co-leaders, etc, etc....and the looting was a LOT OF MONEY. Whether it is one person or twenty, looting dey kampe.
It is still nothing compareyto what we have under democratic rule. Let's not even talk about this present government. Do you know how much money was stolen under rhe last two administration of Jonathan and Buhari?

The Nigerian military will only make things worse. The Nigerian military are the worst set of criminals because historically they are the biggest looters and unlike civilians, they cannot be voted out of office.

At least it is only the military that will be doing the looting. Unlike what v e have right now where presidents are looting, governors are looting, senators, LG chairmen, ministers, ministries, agencies under ministries. Everybody is looting from the top to the bottom.

Personally o, i'd rather be in my one room than share a two bedroom flat with a mate. If you search carefully, you fit get house within that kind 500k range and with proximity to your work place. I mean, you're already spending upto 500k per annum. 1000 * 360 is over 300k. Minus weeknds is still over 200 + your current rent
