Please guys, I just got a message from VFS about my processed visa.I applied 22nd of November. I'm kinda confused now how to know my decision. They wrote it has been dispatched to a courier service provider, those that have gotten theirs....abeg someone enlighten me on the whole process.
Will the courier come with the sticker visa if the application is successful?

The school sef no dey help matters, at least they should inform the embassy here or DHA about pending student visas. If school doesn’t help we should help ourselves asap because I would not allow my application stay there an extra month, not to talk of 8 months! No

We have to look for help. If we don’t that’s how our application will sleep there for 8 months and I’m not going to let that happen.

Please how do they process study Visa? How come people who applied since August September October are yet to receive, just now two people that applied late November got notification about processed visa application today around 3pm ? I’m not understanding this at all. Or is it school by school ??

I am posting this message in a detention area of the Cape-Town International airport. I was received the e-visa through VFS application and on reaching the airport, They denied me entry as the say ..the VISA COULD NOT BE FOUND ON THEIR SYSTEM. I am here for just a four day work conference but it seems they are prepared paper work for deportation and have me sign..The is a really important work trip and I am missing it because of vfs ..this is really horrible. If they are granting visa that cannot be verified

Call the VFS Asap!! Let them know the issue. Show them the mail of confirmation where the visa is. If OR Tambo could verify, why can’t Capetown verify it? This is serious

Hey please call the VFS Office First before you proceed to their office because I saw courier service in your processed visa notification. Ask if it’s with them or it has been dispatched to the courier services first. So you’d will be sure.

Why are you going to paying tuition fee universities when you can studying in SA universities for free. I means tuition free universities even with funding when you are ful time researchstudent. Scholarships plus funding.

He is going to an Aviation school. Not university!

I didn't see any option for courier payment,
I paid the application fee of 25k before booking the interview, then during my documents assessment in VFS I paid around 11k using my ATM card... After the whole thing they gave me only my passport and said they will inform me when the application is ready

Ohh they didn’t even collect your passport? We’ll just wait till Monday.

They are processing study Visa, someone applied in November have gotten a decision from the high commission.

Did you pay for courier? Check your slip. If you did, it will be delivered to you

You applied for study Visa on 25/11/2022. And they have processed yours so any moment from now it would be delivered to your door step

Congratulations o!! When did you get the text about your processed visa ? And did your date of travel pass?

Also for aviation school, is it mandatory to pay part of the tuition first before applying for visa, because people that got visas for universities didn’t pay a dime till they got their visas and about to travel? Do you think the consular called the Aviation school to ask about it or you submitted a document that showed you haven’t paid part of the fees? I’m not so aware of the process for aviation school that’s why I’m asking. Offsetdrip

Offsetdrip Let me get something clear, it was when you sent your withdrawal letter & form that’s when you received your passport and the reason why you were refused? I read when you were looking for reasons to put in your letter, so I guess you submitted and you got these feedback ? Right. Thanks

got a decision in October And that’s the last I heard. Twitter is the only solution, let people see and come to our aid. If we don’t talk now people’s passport will not only spend 3 months but a year in Abuja. Just imagine!! 8 months? China or Tokyo would never!! And these people receive thousands everyday

Even the tourist visa is not certain as it’s pure luck. Some people have also applied since last year and still waiting. I was reading a conversation about this issue on Twitter and you need to see the way people are lamenting and it’s no surprise that the vile South Africans can’t hide their hate as they said they don’t want Nigerians in their country.

At this point I’d agree with you. They don’t want Nigerians in their country. I wish I discovered this early enough. Holding passport for 8 Good Months. How can you justify that if not hatred. This one is refused, in our case they are not processing, passport is just in their hands

This might be true coz a friend of mine said his supervisor keeps contacting him coz every other supervisees from other country had resumed except for him; a Nigerian

We don’t know why they are not processing study visas. Since September!! We just need to make the world know what’s happening. We can’t just be silent. So many scholarship holders on the verge of loosing their scholarship if they don’t resume this month.
