Umar Audu a 21 year old man has been arrested in Niger State for the brutal murder of Abubakar Mohammadu in New-Bussa, Borgu Local Government Area of the state.

The police force therefore confirmed the suspect’s arrest on Tuesday, stating that a team of policemen attached to the New-Bussa Division apprehended him over Mohammadu’s murder.

The victim was killed in the same house the killer lived as he murdered the him on suspicion that Mohammadu was making love advances to his wife.

Information gathered indicated that the suspect had warned the deceased on several occasions to let his wife alone but on that very day of May 2019, he was unable to control his anger, took the laws into his hands and attacked the victim with a machete as he thrust his hand all over his body. The deep cuts on his head, which resulted in Mohammadu’s death.

After being arrested and interviewed he said “I don’t regret killing him because Mohammadu decided to die like a chicken. In his next life, he will not make advances to married women.”The state Police Public Relations Officer, Mohammad Abubakar, said that the matter would be charged to court after investigation.

Mr Kumuyi, who gave the admonition during his sermon at the Deeper Life Bible Church, Headquarters, Gbagada, in Lagos said that real Christians must obey constituted authorities and shun violence.

Delivering his sermon entitled “The Believers’ Preservation Until the Day of Visitation”, Mr Kumuyi said that Christians are strangers and pilgrims in the world and must be Christ-like in their character, conducts and conversations.

The cleric, who read from Biblical passage, I Peter 2: 11-25 said that Christians’ lifestyle must reflect Christ in civil society, saying that government derives their authority from God.

“Honour kings; don’t disrespect or dishonour the governors. Don’t disrespect leaders of the community and leaders in the church.

“If we are to honour the governors in the states, how much more the pastors, ” Mr Kumuyi said.

The Brazilian football star, Neymar, has strongly denied an accusation that he raped a woman in Paris.

According to a police report filed in São Paulo, the woman alleges that the attack took place in a hotel in the French capital, where Neymar plays for Paris St-Germain (PSG).

Neymar’s management put out a statement saying the footballer “completely repudiated” the accusation.

Neymar is now in Brazil training with the national team for the Copa América.

What are the allegations?
According to police documents, the woman – who has not been named – got to know Neymar on Instagram and he suggested they meet in Paris.

He provided her with an air ticket from Brazil to France and a reservation at the Hotel Sofitel Paris Arc Du Triomphe.

When Neymar came to the hotel on 15 May, he was “apparently drunk,” the woman alleges.

What does Neymar say?
In a statement released after the accusations became public, the footballer’s management said: “We completely repudiate the unjust accusations and, above all, the exposure in the press of an extremely negative situation.”

The footballer’s father, Neymar dos Santos, told Band TV in Brazil on Saturday that “it is clear that it was a trap”.

“If public opinion is not cleared up, and if we can’t show the truth rapidly, this will snowball. If we have to show Neymar’s WhatsApps and the conversations with this girl, we will,” he added.

The first messages in the video by Neymar are dated March 11. The video also includes multiple erotic photos and messages he says he exchanged with the complainant. The last date of message in the video is of May 16, a day after she has reported that she met him in Paris. But there is no reference to the alleged crime.

An Illinois grand jury has indicted entertainer R. Kelly on 11 new charges in his sexual assault and sexual abuse case, including four new felonies with maximum penalties of 30 years in prison, according to court documents released Thursday.

His attorney said Kelly has been recharged in his existing case as it pertains to one alleged victim.

The charges range from aggravated criminal sexual assault, criminal sexual assault to aggravated criminal sexual abuse, the document says.

Report indicates that the Ogun State Police Command have arrested four suspected cultists for allegedly stabbing a 26-year-old man, Saibu Azeri to his death , at a birthday party in the Abule Lemode area of Ijoko in the Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of the state.

The names of the apprehended suspect are Opeyemi Olalekan, Azeez Ologundudu, Emmanuel Omoboriowo and Anigilaje Babatunde, a confirmed source stated, that the Cultist came about 2am in the early morning and brought to a halt the ongoing birthday party.

Police spokesperson, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, in a statement said:

“The hoodlums stabbed the father of the celebrant on the head before they got hold of one Saibu Azeez and stabbed him in the stomach"

Gunfire broke out at a neighborhood gathering in Virginia, leaving at least eight people hospitalized with injuries, authorities said.

The shooting happened in the Holly Cove area of Chesapeake on Saturday night, police spokesman Leo Kosinski said.

Olamide Adedeji also known as ‘Baddo’ has become a household name in the Nigerian music industry since he burst into the scene in 2011 with the sick rap anthem ‘Eni Duro’. A lot has happened to the street king since then, he has been enjoying hits every year and even boasts of dropping an album pretty much every year since 2011.

After he dropped his first album, ‘Rapsodi’ he left his former record label ‘Coded Tunes’ headed by veteran producer ID Cabasa. Was it a great move? Many would have said no but Olamide’s belief and determination even led him to turn down a deal allegedly offered to him by D Banj. As a matter of facts and numbers, Olamide has done excellently well since he left his former label and manager.

You can be a top musician and a poor manager, this has happened countless times both in the foreign and local music industries, the biggest of the biggest artistes are still signed to parent label while some have their own little label, you talk of Drake, Nicki, French Montana. When some depart, they just fall off like they never existed.

In Nigeria, you just get two years of being at the top and an artiste like Reekado thinks he has seen it all and can run a label on his own, too bad.

Report indicate that Oluwajuwon Gilbert Alowonle has been finally arrested after being accused for the murder of a Nurse.

Police report indicates that the suspect has been on the run since the murder of Serdang Hospital head nurse, Siti Kharina Mohd Kamaruddin.

For the murder of the Nurse, two other suspects, a Pakistani man and a Nigerian woman have also been arrested in connection with the case.

He went viral two weeks ago for pledging allegiance to David Adeleke A.k.A DAVIDO in Wizkid’s hood, Ojuelegba, Surulere.

This cost him a lot, as the video were he was hailing Davido and shaming Wizkid went viral.

He got the beating of his life and looked so haggard after a popular thug, Baruwa Eleniyan organised boys to beat him mercilessly and this made Davido promise to give Shoki Shitta a huge some of money. A lot of the people who assaulted him got arrested and an alleged text message sent by wizkid conversing with Baruwa about Shoki Shitta was recovered.

He was overjoyed while receiving the huge sum of money as he could he heard screaming "Davido changed my life”
