The difference between the digits of a two-digit number is 1. The number itself is 1 more than 5 times the sum of its digits. If the units digit is greater than the tens digit, find the number.

Odehfamily: 5/12 of a number is subtracted from 3/4 of the number. The positive difference is 7 less than 5/6 of the number. Find the number. plz help me

The number is -18 1/2

Help solve dis o-the numerator of a fraction is 5 less than its denominator.if 6 is added to the numerator and 4 to the denominator,the fraction is doubled.what is the fraction?Pls, help me out with this:

'a few' simply means many but it attracts singular verb while 'many' attracts plural verb. They're both used with countable noun. Few denotes limited quantity of things. It is also used with countable noun.

On the other hand,
'Little' or 'a little' are both used with uncountable nouns. 'a little' means much while 'little' limited value. That's my submission though.

jackpot: in case you intend lecturing after the M.Sc, I suggest you do Pure Maths(that's take courses like General Topology, Abstract Algebra, Functional Analysis, Measure Theory).

If you are still thinking about lecturing or may wish to work elsewhere after doing your M.Sc, then choose Applied Maths(that's take courses like Advanced Optimization, Numerical Analysis, Operations Research).

Note however that list of courses available at M.Sc differs university-wise.

Eligibilities:
For Undergraduates
- u must be frm Ekiti State
-u must have at least 4.0/5.0 CGPA or 3.5 for poly students, etc.

For postgraduates
-u must be from Ekiti too
-u must have 2-1 and above in ur first degree
-u must have enrolled 4 ur masters and PHD programs in Universities both in Nigeria and abroad, etc
Submision closes on 1st of October.

I need to collect my GCE cert and I don't knw what it will cost me. I was told u could not just go to waec office to collect it any day, that u have to also go with a particular of money. I could smell underhand dealings in this so-called TESCOM recruitment exercise. If they could spend just 3 weeks on marking the initial test sat 4 by over 10,000 applicants, how many months do they want to spend extracting 1,600 out of less than 2,000 successful candidates? This people will just come up with their influenced and anointed candidates soon and eventually claim due process on media. Don't just rely on them because the govt is full of cheats. May God help Ekiti State and Nigeria as well.
