We were still able to accommodate you on our NAIRALAND forum.
A lesson for you, that is why we said we are giant of Africa. N!gga!Stop ranting as if you created the internet. There's nothing special about creating a mere forum. Until you stop talking sh!t about Ghana,I'll be here to put inconsequential dolts like you in the sewage where you belong. |

Education › Ghana Tops WASSCE For The Fifth Consecutive Time by buzzmania(op): 11:29pm On Mar 09, 2017 |
A student of St James Seminary in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana Master Puis Kyere has emerged the overall best student in West Africa by the West African Examination Council (WAEC). Master Kyere is the fifth successive Ghanaian student to win the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) awards. He came tops in the 2016 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for school candidates and was presented with his prize at the annual WAEC Excellence Awards at the Sakyi Asare Menako Hall in Accra Wednesday. He was honoured along with two senior high school (SHS) graduates — Master Benjamin Bortey Sango, formerly of Accra Academy, and Master Richmond Kwame Mensah, formerly of the St James Seminary, Sunyani — who were adjudged the third best in West Africa and Ghana respectively. All the three awardees, who are pursuing courses in the various tertiary institutions, were presented with cash prizes, plaques and certificates. The WASSCE is written by students from Ghana, Nigeria, Liberia, The Gambia and Sierra Leone. Last year, Ghana swept all the three topmost prizes at the WAEC Excellence Awards, with all the three awardees being former students of the Wesley Girls’ High School, Cape Coast. Apart from citations and plaques for their schools, the awardees had cash prizes of $600, $500 and $400, respectively. https://yen.com.gh/90113-meet-shs-graduate-making-ghana-proud-ghana-top-waec-awards-again.html |

Chicertain: Be serious my friend.Fela got nothing from you.Tall drums have always existed in nigeria.Nigerians have always liked rythmic music. How dare you day all we had in the past was r and b? Where are forefathers singing r and b? Ghetto music has always outsold classy music in nigeria eventhough many hated ghetto music. Inventive people brought classy-ghetto which does as well as ghetto music. You talk of the 90-s, I talk of the 80's down to the current time.Iyanya sings ghetto because r and b has never been big in nigeria.People have always laughed at r and b artistes sincethe 80-s. In nigeria, the more indigenous you sound, the bigger yo Iur fan base. Get a life. Why would we copy people who depend on our music for their clubs, parties and even movie soundtracks. For your information, this thread is long dead and buried so go get a life. |

ikp120: I get your points. Thank you for them. But point of correction: 1. I am not a Ghanaian. I am a proper Nigerian, just that I wanted to get my fellow Nigerians to hide their shame. It is even today that I learnt that Ghana in our backyard here is older than Nigeria. I was so surprised that I had to tell my mum. Then she reminded me of that "Ghana must go" time, when Ghanaian left Nigeria and other countries and returned to Ghana to build the country.
2. Nigeria does not need to war with Ghana. I understand that Ghana is a small country. Lagos is even bigger, but not as developed. We're in the 21st century when fighting and warring does no one no good. LOVE ALL THE WAY!
Anyway, I agree with your other points.
I REST MY CASE! THANK YOU! What?Lagos bigger than Ghana? It isn't even bigger than the smallest region in Ghana.Get your facts right. |

danot1030: Ghanians are learners, they are far inferior to Nigerians in everything cos Nigerians gang robbers for one will never rob a cab driver for his day sales, two females robbers will not rob with a knife and they will never gang rob for a paltry sum of 143GHC, in Nigeria we don't call these types robbers we call them petty thieves. From your comment I can deduce you are an armedrobber by profession.Better rescind on your ill motives, else your doomsday is nearer than you can imagine. |
