How rings are bad. Buy a new engine or work on the rings. If you don't have money now you can switch to a thicker oil to reduce the shorting like 20w50

If worked (change) the rings, would the smoke stopped?
Which work should come first: servicing or working the rings.
Where can I get the follow-come of the rings?

Good evening car Gurus.
I have a corolla S 2008 that shorts oil, every 3 weeks or 1 month I must top the oil in the vehicle. The car was due for service two months ago but due to or two things, was able to get the oil (Mobile 1) this week.
Like late last month, I discovered that sometimes when I started the car or when I depressed the accelerator after starting, I noticed blue smokes from the tail pipe.
Please help a poor man o. Somebody suggested that I should service it, that the smoke will stop. I'm confused right now cos I want to travel with the by God's grace in December from Kwara to Gombe. I don't want to take a risk of servicing and the problem is with the engine which might involve removing it and wasting my oil.

Kindly help with solution as no money to purchase another vehicle now.

Absolutely correct. Practice as many times as you can. Find a way to check for the correct answers of the practice questions. Work on speed and accuracy.

Try to devise a way to practice as many questions as possible on shl website. The practice questions available on their site are sufficient to prepare you for the actual test, as they are in the same format and difficulty level. You don't need to search all over the internet for additional practice questions.

I got my test invitation on Monday and is scheduled between 15th - 22nd of August for Senior Electrical Engineer. Advice is highly appreciated as to what and what I would need to prepare very well. Like, where and how to get materials for the preparation. Thanks.

Run a live data reading on your scanner and compare readings with manufactures specifications. Pay attention to the MAF reading, injector reading on the affected banks, O² sensor reading and also misfire reading on each bank. If your scanner is bidirectional, try enriching each affected cylinder to know if it improves the lean condition. Also check your freeze frame to know what conditions the car was when it triggered those codes. It will help with your diagnosis.
Do not forget to check for fuel pressure while at it.

The loss power, noticeable increase in fuel consumption and it misfires.
Repair history: About two months ago my mechanic corrected the timing issue the car came with (P0016) by adjusting the timing and the car came back to life (no more sluggish during climbing, very fast pick up, with no check engine light). He also changed the serpentine belt adjuster.
Around first week of this month, check engine light came up, I scanned it and it shows P0171 (system too lean). After checking the code on YouTube, I re-tightened some loosed vacuum hoses and cleaned up the MAF sensor but the code refused to go. Then after some few days car started loosing power, I scanned it and error codes P0300 and P0302 showed. I swapped the coil of 1 and 2 and drove it for a whole day but the code remain the same, which I suspected the Spark plug in cylinder 2. I drove it two for days like that scanned it and now has P0171, P0300, P0302 and P0304. Just last week, after a night rainfall, I started my car and ABS light came up, I drove it like that to office, and after closing for work, i started the car the ABS light has gone. After reaching home, I scanned it and P0500 has been added to the list.
I checked YouTube for the P0500 (vehicle speed sensor), I cleaned my front wheel speed sensors but the code refused to go too.
Now my car misfires, slow in picking up and it consumes.

Please a brother o. My Corolla S 2008 has the following error codes:
P0171
P0500
P0300
P0302
P0304

This is a 50/50 things. Some people got it big over there while some people are still hustling over there. We at home, God is also helping us. Belly Neva Go To Bed Empty, Tank You Lord.

My Toyota Corolla S 2008 model, always makes this "krrrr" sound at early morning starting and when starting after it has been parked for many hours. Also, most of the time, it doesn't start on one kick in the morning and when park for many hours. I was told to change the camshaft intake CVT (Sprocket), but I've not done it yet (still searching for an expert) because I'm afraid Kazeem may end up Kazeemaling the car for me.

I bought it around October 2019 and I've only changed front shocks, belt tensioner and serpentine belt as the engine has never been worked upon.

These days, with my AC on, when accelerating e.g after a speed bump, i always hear this "shrrrr" sound. I don't know what's wrong again.

It's a 4 cylinder engine. It's the intake VVT-I that I need.

Please, any idea of how much is this VVT-i for corolla s 2008? OEM please. I was recommended to change mine due this rattling sound on early morning starting and also when the vehicle is packed for many hours.

Urgent advice is needed please. My Corolla S 08 is slow in picking up or during acceleration (RPM would be high with no commensurated speed). Sometimes I would have to pumped the gas pedal (accelerator) before I could get more power/speed. The doesn't mostly start on kick even after driving for about 30min in a hot afternoon. Each morning start follows with a loud rattling sound and sometimes even on motion while accelerating.

I have changed serpentine belt tensioner and cold start sensor but the rattling sound and the cold start did not stop. I've searched online got some information that "changing of camshaft intake sprocket" can solve the problem. Please if it's true, where can I get an OEM replacement? Which one is better, new or toks?

When the government can no longer guarantee the safety of life and property of its citizens, then is left for a citizen that has an option and means to cross to the other side for a better life. If I have the means, I too will take my family and zoom out for a better life over there.

Good morning house. My corolla 08 doesn't start on one kick again whether morning or afternoon. Sometimes, it has to be on 3rd kick before it will start. What can be the problem?
