the best thing to do since you have your admission letter is to write a mail to jamb, to confirm the authenticity of that admission letter, why am saying so is because you said someone in another dept has the same matric number as you,but this not possible because the matric numbers also have dept codes in it, which makes every matric number unique to a particular dept. write a letter to school senate and copy the VC with all your documents and see what happens
