Sunnybobo3: People open your eyes. Lamido is under probe for mismanagement of public funds. He had to hurriedly import this to present as part of what the embezzled money was used for.
Exactly my thoughts.
Politics / Re: General Azazi - Pdp Is Boko Haram (video) by C0llynz0ii: 6:49am On Aug 16, 2014
Azzazi: The current violence did not escalate until there was a declaration by the current President (Jonathan) that he was going to contest. PDP got it wrong fron the onset by saying Mr A can rule, Mr B cannot rule which was unconstitutional. That created the climate for what we are experiencing today (boko haram). Someone was thinking that only A could win and if he did not win, there will be violence in the society. Let us analyse it and see if the violence in the north east just
escalated and Boko haram suddenly became
better trained, better equipped and better funded, in any case, how did it happen
Those where the exact words of Azzazi in 2012, as we all know, those who couldn't bear the thought of MR. ''B'' ruling have since defected to the party where the truly belong, APC.

if the story is relly true, I find the quote below very worrying.
Uche Ekwunife did not talk, according to our source, until Ebele Obiano told her that she will deal with her and make sure she crumbles all her businesses in Awka.
Politics / Re: ADAMAWA GUBER: Ribadu Fails To Register In PDP, Beats A Hasty Retreat. by C0llynz0ii: 7:20pm On Aug 15, 2014
PDP respects internal democracy, if he can't stand for the primaries, he shouldn't bother joining.
He can remain in APC where the ticket can be given to him without primaries.

Mutuwa:

What do u expect when DEMO CRAZY has opened their eyes to abundance of money which during their regime they had some esteem for.The now ryde in BMW's compared to d days they drove in 504 S.R (dilapidated one for that matter).Their eye don open with money and deep regards for greed. angry
What nonsense is this? The military hierarchy has been siphoning millions of dollars long before the advent of democracy, they introduced financial corruption to Nigeria

barcanista: That is one issue with Jonathan-Timing. His Motive may be sincere but the timing look political, but we must support him to flush this BH. As long as this War is concerned We all should give the President and the Military our Maximum support. I also hope that the Military do not wane and flush out the terrorists before the december deadline.
To be honest, I don't expect them to flush out the terrorists with the current defensive tactics they are using, only an all out war will do that. It is also unfortunate that the terrorists kidnapped those girls to use as human shield, I don't know how the military plans to go about that. This thing should have been done long before those girls were kidnapped, but the politicians and the ''genocide accusers'' didn't allow that to happen, see where it has led us.
They might have to choose between 200 girls and tens of thousands of people dying at the end...

barcanista: That is sad. But please Jonathan does not assign bullet allocation, the Generals do. The Generals are the ones that strategize with the President giving them direction on what he expects. The President should have done more but the Generals are the Biggest Failures. The President need to overhaul the army. We need to fish out the moles within and the President need to order for more troops rather than convert soldiers to Election army.

I feel for your family, but life Goes on!!!

Your Father's blood is not in-vain
The general only gets criticised when he is Ihejirika.
Anyway, I am patiently waiting for the December deadline they gave to the terrorists before an all out war is declared against them.
Although December is too close to the election and Jonathan's motives might be seen as political.

Such a sad story.
When are they going to declare an all out war on those animals and destroy every living and non living thing in that area?

Idrismusty97: I mean it is possible to access the site with Glo(A Nigerian network provider) but not with MTN, Etisalat, Airtel or any other Nigerian based network provider. This for me means they know your network provider(Probably by IP type) and they banned the ones commonly used for scamming.
Your are right, it is also possible to block access from a particlular network provider, because each provider is assigned a particular range of addresses the paid for.

Idrismusty97: I have visited some foreign site where the whole Nigeria IP have been banned. How is that possible? In that same site Glo is an exception, only when you use popular Nigerian networks like MTN and ETISALAT(Used mostly by scammers).
Yes, that is very possible because there is a whole block (range) of IP addresses assigned to Nigeria by IANA, the owners of those foreign sites can simply block access from IP addresses that fall into that range with just a few clicks, can Nairaland afford to do the same?
Seun can decide to block access to his site from any other country, but not Nigeria where the bulk of his traffic and adverts come from.
I don't understand your bit about Globacom.

Fool...!!

I didn't see the thread you promised to create....

Your moderator friends are working overtime to see that it doesn't come to fruition as you can see from my new account, but it is on it's way.
I will create it when I have enough time on my hands so that I can cause enough damage before it is deleted.

Network newbies, even when using your phone, your IP changes each time you close your browser and access the site again, they are called dynamic IP addresses. The IP I am using right now to access the site might be what you will use the next time you log in, same with a computer when using a USB modem or wifi
By the way, IP has nothing to do with sim cards.
