yea, got it.As a certified OCP, i would love to install the application myself
whatever it takes.
I had offers to buy the pre-installed ECC 6.0
but i wouldnt be fulfilled if i cant install it on my machine, as being  a technical and functional  consultant is my target
it isnt the steps really, its the installation of the database, of which i have installed lots of database instances on unix and other platforms, so windows database installation shouldnt be a problem at all.
i guess it would be the ides software am using.
will update u sha as time goes on.

hi, thanks for your contributions here on nairaland.I have almost same problem.Here it goes:

On my old passport, i had boil in one of my eyes,which reflected in my passport, making my passport a little questionable.
I experienced some problems when was about to board the plane in Nigeria, in which i was given a query by the visa official to report the second day at the embassy, my passport was collected, i think verified, which i went to collect the second day, meaning that i couldnt travel that day.

On getting to the uk, had little proms with the officials,again with the verification thing.In short i had problems with my face on the passport, NOT ON THE VISA.
My question is this:In orde to avoid repeated occurence,i have gotten the new E-passport which is okay.I want to reapply for a new visa, and i dont want to experience same thing.SHOULD I APPLY USING OLD PASSPORT OR NEW E-PASSPORT.
pls i need urgent response.

hi Le Moor, thanks for your awonderful contribution, it was really thoughtful of you assisting young dbas like us(me).
dd my certifications, mcp and ocp in NIIT, but yet to have hands on exp, pls i need your assistance on being a seasoned dba,
having a lot of passion for it.
i wouldnt mind any book you can offer as promised to other folks in the house.((Physical, and logical database, design. entity relationships etc)
i developed myself in linux, apart from windows, and sun solaris.
again whatever assistance that can be rendered to be a succesful dba, thanks
