Politics › Re: Can Osinbajo As Acting President, Fire Abba Kyari? by CACAWA(m): 9:23am On May 12, 2017 |
If he fires the chief of staff, nothing stops PMB from reappointing the man when he returns.
Meanwhile, just so that you know, PYO doesn't need to fire any of PMB's kitchen staff at the moment for two reasons:
1. It will expose PMB's personal effects to ridicule (or better put - it will be like stripping PMB naked in public). Those guys are looking after his back k while he's away and should not be fired.
It's like when your boss goes out and leaves you in charge of the house, you then change all the padlocks of the gates when you k ow he won't have the new spare key...That is betrayal.. it doesn't matter if armed robbers also have that key, you need to get his permission and send him a spare key so that it doesn't seem like you have stripped him.
2. For the time that PYO is acting president, the president's office is totally redundant, so all his Kitchen staff are more or less on vacation, all directions now come from Aguda house. Therefore, Abba Kyari can do nothing against PYO. The only powerful person now is PYO's chief of staff (DCOS) because as it is now, Abba Kyari is more or less on vacation.
The worst that Abba Kyari can do is to back bite and scorn PYO. Any security chief that listens to that has his job on the line because once PYO fires a military officer for example, not even PMB can bring them back into the armed forces...It is irreversible. |

Then someone walked up to him.."Akpors, is everything alright? Why are you screaming hey?"
Akpors nodded in great disappointment then spoke in pidgin English...
"Bros, so you no know say e good make person dey make hey when the sun dey shine? ... Abeg comot Jor...Hey!!! Heyyyy!!! Heyyyy!!!!!" |

tukdi: What is MNEMONICS?
Pls answer needed Asap! lol..its just a way of helping your memory to remember a very long list of boring points you may need in your exam. for instance, if in your note, it says the advantages of blablabla are: speed, accuracy, cost-effective, reliable, repairable and easy to use. In the exam, how can you remember all these points? considering how many other things you need to put in your head for all other courses that you must equally do well in. Mnemonics means you should creae an abbrevation for them and use simple words to make sense of it, an example will be: SACRRE - See As Chairman Really Relax Ehn? This is one method I used in remembering the first 20 elements of the periodic table back in high school. If you can use this method for your revision, you will find yourself having surplus points in the exams when the question says "Discuss four advantages of blablabla", you will easily drop 6 advantages. Also, you can then focus most of your brain power on the mathematical side of things to score higher marks overall |

Education › Re: Information Thread for International Postgraduate Programs by CACAWA(m): 5:14pm On May 06, 2017 |
Well, it is actually easy I suppose. There are so many scholarship opportunities Whoever is interested in scholarships needs to have his/her ear to the ground. www.studyandscholarships.com does the trick. That aside, everyone must be aware that in Nigeria, there are a few govt. programs (although PMB has not been forthcoming so far) The chevening as well as the commonwealth shared scholarship is also very fair. Fair in that everyone gets a fair chance. If you are looking to go to the USA, there they have many schools that offer no scholarship but studentship. In that case, you first get your admission, then you could get a "job offer" in the school that pays well. All in all, I can only advice you to stick to the link I just shared as they let you know all available scholarship offers for developing countries. |

GodIsBiafran: Yes - cos I tried it and I figure it out in about one and a half minute.
You still don't get it. Akin's method is the easiest/fastest to find an INTEGER solution IF one exists. Knowing that an INTEGER solution DNE is itself knowledge I did not have before counting. Then you can now use squaring both sides to solve for the solution (s) that exist. That is the genius we are talking about here not mindlessly punching numbers in calculators/taking squares etc. without thinking. solve this question and stop making noise jorr... Talkative lol |

FisifunKododada: lol how much is this one going for? You people u na no dey tire? Even the Akin that is the seminal subject of discourse has moved on. But come to think of it Cacawa - didn't Akin say (several times) that his quick/fast method will yield an integer solution IF one exists? So, why are you making it sound like he said his method was some 'almighty' formula? I think you are been dishonest here and its very obvious. Many of us are paying close attention to this thread because its fascinating - so trying to fool people with this passive aggressive lies won't work. Who says this one will not yield an integer answer ?? Ahhhhhhhh!!!! So you want to use my method to find the answer and see if it actually an integer, before knowing whether your "counting" method will work?? And you call that an intelligent less than. One minute solution? I thought you were gonna just count from 1 to 56, then when you notice that integers won't work, you then use my method.... I thought that was a very "creative" solution. Lol. I don't even like the guy (because he carries Biafra matter for head too much) but he is an exceptional thinker. If you still think he can't solve the problem using your textbook method, go and look at his prowess on physics threads. One thing I have learnt in this life is to not allow my opinion of people cloud the reality of who they are. My opinion is that Akin is not a very nice person, BUT, I will be a abject liar to doubt his cerebral prowess. Lol you really believe he solved that in less than a minute? Okay here you go, solve this in less than one hour, using same method. √(x) + √(x+17) = 56 Pls do not use the pure mathematical method. kennyjam: This is mine
0/0=(X^2 -X^2)/(X^2 -X^2)=X(X-X)/X(X-X)=1*1=1
0/0=(X^2 -X^2)=(X+X)(X-X)/X(X-X)=2X/X=2
0/0=(X^2 -X^2)=X(X-X)/(X+X)(X-X)=X/2X=1/2 Hahhahaha i know it can be solved in a way to have several numbers as the answer...And that is why mathematicians claim that 0/0 = undefined answer. The only reason I will go for 1 is that every other answer you get, be it 2 or 1/2 or 34 or 8787 is only a multiple of several 0/0 (i.e k * 0/0) which still appears in the question as a 0/0 because k*0 = 0 but appears in the answer as k*1 which could then be any k |

AkinPhysicist: So? If it fails then you employ another method. Ki ni big deal?
Then use iteration if basic/logical counting fails. Again ki ni big deal?
Keep your 'lecture' to yourself, I am fully aware of the connection between iteration and Fibonacci
Using a calculator to solve this particular problem is like using a machete(cutlass) to kill a housefly. Its shows rigidity. A lack of clear thought.
Once again iteration is an overkill for this problem. You needed a calculator - I didn't
Tell me something I don't know.
You can't do basic/logical counting and you think you can give me homework...I laugh in Chinese FisifunKododada: So Cacewa - the emboldened is a calculator approach of what Akin did. The difference is you had to use a calculator be he didn't. He found a solution within a minute. This is what I have been trying to convey to you, you take a formal approach to math, Akin is just naturally intelligent. Remember i first showed you an algebraic solution. In fact, the ITERATION did not need a calculator...Remember i once asked you to tell me the square root of 74 without a calculator which you guys are yet to reply. The only reason I have e used a calculator for you is so that you can. Appreciate how much detail is needed if you insist on doing the "counting" method for very difficult question where the number 15 was replaced with 858.6 While you guys are still focused on the immediate problem, I'm showing you the mathematically accepted general approach to all other related but complex questions of this kind. |

Ahhhh you would have got my #15k, but you won't. What you did is absolutely correct, but for mathematical expediency, you need to have use a letter say, "Let Y be any number such that Y€R So if you had used y Instead of 10, you would still have got that proff correct, but it will be a valid proof, not just for "10" but for all real numbers y. Now, you made that clear in your last sentence, but in maths, it has to be part of the proof. You are good bro. I was going to use the method of Limits |
