eleojo23: I'm surprised at the grand scale burial. Well, having spent fifteen years with the dog, he must have really gotten close to it.
We humans get attached to a thing when we spend a lot of time with it.
I know some people who have 'mourned' the loss of their phones and laptops (inanimate objects!) which they had used for a long time. It had become their 'friend' and the loss of it pained them. I definitely will be mourning my laptop when it shuts down. Too many memories with it. |

DailyNews: take it or leave it sister, all sexually active men cheat!! And same, all financially buoyant married men cheat! Once a man tastes that forbidden fruit, he will keep exploring more forbidden fruits cos the one he has tasted will become sour in his tongue and he wants to taste new ones.
A married man can only remain faithful if he has no money, struggling financially and lack the opportunity due to certain factors, aside that, all married men cheat!! If u like, keep arguing it. The best u ladies can do is to also start cheating so we can have a peaceful world, simple!! All generalizations are false; including this one. |

Some men can just do stupid things sha. I pity men who can't just keep it on their pants. OP, I suggest you guys sit down and talk openly about what happened a little bit more and then seek counselling to help resolve raised issues. Please don't go cheating as way of paying back. You'd only be hurting yourself more. At all at all, if/when you decide to leave the marriage (I hope not), there'd be enough time to date and have intimate relations without having that sour taste in your mouth after done deeds. |

It's really crazy walahi! We all faced it at the beginning and are still facing it. From the moment you chose your business onwards. The moment you experience one little glitch in the course of running your business, they increase the volume of discouraging voices. When you lose 2 or 3 chicks (which is a constant in poultry business) some of those people would make it seem like it's because you are failing blah blah and looking at you with ”We told you" faces. Prepare yourself for that. The hardest part of business in the early days and a lot of other times is staying in business. Anytime you hear anyone say anything in the context of leaving your business, reply in your heart, ”Leave it for what?” Don't say it out loud, you don't want to hear the gibberish they'll spew back as answers. |

Romance › Re: Women; Becoming Assets Rather Than Liabilities by caesaraba(m): 12:52am On Oct 29, 2014 |
ekemini007: Datin a woman wit a source of livelihood is equivalent to a woman datin a man becuse he hs a source of livelihood. This u knw is wt we men cl "greedy girls". Wt mks a "real woman" is situational n nt dispositional jst like wt mks a "real man"
Even witout livelihood, strive to find a woman wit "character" fr within dis is al d source of "livelihood" u nid. Don't get me wrong, dating only women who earn a living is entirely different from dating a woman because she earns a living. One is setting a standard while the other is plain old parasitism like the women you described above do. There'so something about people who earn a living knowing the worth of things and hence valuing them. They also know the importance of planning....etc etc...do I need to bore you with details again. I'm not saying all of the women in this category are prizes, but I'm darn sure we are most likely to find a higher number of those with above qualities in this group as opposed to the other group. |

Gorgeous58: Strive to be the kind of woman who, when your man hits rock bottom, when his business fails or he is retrenched from his job, can carry the family through. You must be able to provide what he otherwise would. This thing of women who sit doing nothing, and when a man goes through a difficult period, cannot come through for him, or at least even help him make a plan, is not on.
Let us start hustling with our men. We must stop being liabilities when we have what it takes to be assets.
Ladies, what's your take on this? God bless you ma`am. We men are smarter now. Once we find your type, the next thing is a ring on a finger. My rule now is simple, I`ll only date a woman who has a means of livelihood going forward. Thankfully, that number of women is increasing in our society. No more painted-nails,open-hands and ready-to-suck-me-dry-women. |
