Correct! ...and now that the Nigerian Army has also captured a lot of the Haramites, we the masses call upon them to expedite action and rapidly arrange the re-union of said terrorists and their dead colleagues while also carrying out the necessary rites which will enable them meet the 70 virgins in excellent condition. This we so ask. Amen.

NZD govt fundamentals. I think after clearing .8100 (NU) is going to keep flying downwards till 0.7700 (last year's low) at least since technically there's no viable resistance in sight, dance small alanta and maybe turn around and off to .8800 (trade of life) we go. MHO sha o.

If your girl tells you exactly what she wants, how she wants it, and what you could do to improve your technique, you telling me you won't look down on her with the mindset that she's been around?

And would you have a rethink of marrying your fiancee if she's way better than you in bed?
What the ....!
9ja is really diverse.
The opposite of the scenario above is largely why I decided to stop dating for a few years now. Driven men without esteem issues like many of us will seldom settle for women who can't hold their own in almost every department. Frankly, nothing feels better than not dating some dumbed-down Nigerian lady waiting for instructions on which eye to blink. Who wants a dunder-brained zombie? Definitely not some of us.

@thread, fractious uncivilised behaviour shouldn't be confused with feminism abeg.

Thank God for them
Oh you have no idea. They should celebrate it however they choose. They can even roll out drums and beat them for 365 days if they so wish. That region has seen enough bad things for the good to be celebrated.

On the other hand, (out of curiosity) I wanna know why this is going to be a source of sleepless nights for certain people? Frankly, I don't get Nigerians. Especially NL riff raffs who have nothing to lose with the construction of a flyover.

POPEII: get lost real blah blah and you are ?

I asked a genuine question, even on the pics we don't see any car,so what are you talking about
If you are dumb enough to expect traffic on a flyover that's only "nearing completion" then I'm sorry for even dignifying(sic) you with a response in the first place. One day, you'll leave the junction of your village/ town/city and shockingly discover that the world doesn't end in your market square.

The case of the poisoning of a certain Russian agent in London springs to mind.
PoliticsRe: Since When Did Boko Haram 'attacks' Become Equivalent To A 'take Over' ? by caesaraba(m): 5:02pm On Sep 07, 2014
darqly: Herein lies the bulk of our problem. People like you and GEJ pretend the country isn't under siege and allude his failures and inaction to 'political foes'. Lives and livelihoods are being lost and all you can think of is 2015 elections.
Abeg help me tell these people. There's more to life than 2015.
PoliticsRe: Since When Did Boko Haram 'attacks' Become Equivalent To A 'take Over' ? by caesaraba(m):
Objection! While it is good to state the facts as they are, it is also important not to down -play the scale of Boko Haram operations. Yes," operations."

Boko Haram has obviously grown exponentially in recent times because they have been constantly underrated and their attacks down-played by pro-government persons who have always held the opinion that stating the facts will do political damage to whoever they so support.

What is a take-over? If boko haram attacks a town, drives out the authority (soldiers, police, emir, boys scout et al) and then proceeds to hold that town for even 1 hour, that is a take over for that period of time.

Boko haram has stopped attacking and running away why? Simple. When a person becomes successful, he/she attracts many friends.
Boko haram has been left to thrive for so long in the NE region that more experienced and brazen fighters from other groups like Ansar-deen who have been dealt with and chased out of Mali by France have poured in to swell their ranks. Remember Shekau sent 200 fighters to help them take over Mali during their own campaign abi? Where are the Chadean Rebels of old who used to carry out brazen robberies along Jos/Kaduna roads in those days? Where are all the miscellaneous miscreants inhabiting the North? Probably boko members now. Why not? They are a standing army now (like it or not) and we have better start seeing them as such. ...and standing armies pay salaries.
SportsRe: End Your Relationship With Olga It Hurts Me" - Nigerian Girl Writes Mikel Obi by caesaraba(m): 3:48pm On Sep 07, 2014
Konjour: Mikel's career and development as a player had started stalling ever since he joined Chelsea

under the stewardship of Jose Mourinho. We all know he never came close to fulfilling his

potential. There was a time Mikel and Messi were being touted as the next big things in football,

I still argue with friends that he was cheated out of being the best player in that tournament. Mikel

could dribble, make 60 yard passes, shoot accurately, he once had astounding vision, made most

of his passes go forward. On the trajectory he set out with, we were all hoping he was the next

J.J Okocha, and that he'd probably be mentioned someday in the same breath as the Zidanes,

and the Iniestas of this world. He had everything in his locker until he had to adapt and change

his game as it was simply impossible for him to displace Makelele, Lampard, Ballack, Deco etc

who were all World class midfielders in their prime. We thought he would stay at Manchester

United and be the Pogba of the last decade. If anybody was to blame for him not reaching his

potential, the crazy girl should finger Jose Mourinho, John Shittu and ultimately Mikel himself, but

not some innocent girl who fell in love and is obviously happy with him. That girl is an eyesore

and a disgrace to all Nigerian girls who have still got any sense of decency and self-worth left.
Mikel sacrificed a lot for the money at Chelsea and frankly, I'm not mad at him. Some sacrifices people make can only be understood by them. There's no certainty that he would have blossomed into a world class star. He could have made a couple of mistakes and sharply fallen out Fergie's favour and the next thing would be super-glued benching (lol), loan spells and subsequently Sunderland, Norwich, Crystal Palace and finally Fenerbache (u know the rest na). Sadly, we can only speculate on what might have been.
On the upside, I happy for him family sha. That Chelsea money really set them up big time.

MissMeiya: There are A LOT of BRILLIANT Nigerians. Just not on Nairaland. Try LinkedIn and Twitter.
Honestly there was a time when NL was about discussing ideas and topics such as this one would have had so much contributions from people who actually had an idea about the business that everyone would have learnt a thing or two from it.

Now NL is filled with people discussing about other people 24hrs everyday. Indeed, there are 3 kinds of people...

Look at NL now. Such a pity.

Honestly. It is a good thing though for capitalists. Lots of potential cheap labour to pick from. Frankly, I think stupidity should be encouraged amongst our youths.

Shouting OP wants to scam people / wants people to give him trucks etc. As if any aspiring business persons are going to count roughly 4 - 6 million naira (bare minimum) worth of investment and hand it over to another person without doing their thorough due diligence. They think haulage is kobo kobo business.
On top of that, the man hasn't even made any move in that direction yet. NL detectives.

Wake up bros. People with actual lives are also on NL. They can decide to make a post or two from time to time.

gboss4sure: You should be worried about your stupidity, foolishness and laziness. Nigeria is moving at Usain bolt speed and hard working peeps are enjoying it and making money while lazy people like you are yet to see something good in it.
Honestly it`s so annoying. Everyday young smart thinking Nigerians are stepping up and breaking new grounds no matter how little then some lazy-brained naysayers who can`t see beyond their noses gather in front of their screens shouting ``No! It can`t be done.``

Is it not funny that the few people accusing the OP are doing so because he actually outlined how he got to where he is step by step?

Seun please take down this topic from the front page and put up something on Tonto Dike abeg. The battle is already lost.

Attack the messenger all you want but the question is, did you get the message from the write-up?
I know it`s on the front page and open to the usual NL barasana but isn`t it too early to start casting doubts on the OP`s motive (If any).
There`s a reason why we have PDP/APC and Tonto Dike threads on the FP to satisfy various needs. This thread is aimed at business inclined persons on NL.

This is my line of business and why it might sound like French to you, what the OP is saying is quite simple. Ordinarily even if you just buy 2-3 mini vans and approach warehouses in within your town, you can strike a couple of deals to haul or distribute goods for them quite easily.

Let the man commit a crime before you crucify him abeg.

StealthyMe: Thanks for Sharing your experience @ThaiAlNigeria
Very Inspiring Piece i must say!

But can you please give an estimate capital wise into your start-up haulage business ?
Check out the price ranges of various trucks and then factor in running cost et al. That would give you a general idea then you can decide to cut your coat as you deem achievable.

Automotive businesses are very capital intensive but if draw-downs are well managed, the risk/reward ratio is pretty favourable.
