President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the immediate sack of the Executive Vice Chairman EVC of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure NASENI, Professor Mohammed Sani Haruna.

The development followed the discovery that the president had wrongly granted him a two-year tenure extension even after already completing two terms of five years each.

Director, of Information in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation OSGF, Willie Bassey who disclosed this in a statement issued Tuesday night said Profm Haruna is to immediately hand over to the next most senior officer in the establishment.

Any complain made to Npower should be made only once, please avoid repetition as this might delay your issue number and might place you on queue after queue and your issues might end up not getting treated.

According to N-Power NASIMS the N-Power physical verification will commence on the 10th of September, (see attached screenshot) in some states it might commence earlier than that date, all Npower Batch C applicants have been advised to wait for the N-Power physical verification before reporting to their PPA.

NASIMS further said that all N-Power Batch C applicants will be notified on the next course of action with respect to the N-Power physical verification.

All N-Power Batch C applicants are advised to keep checking their email and NASIMS portal for Npower updates.

I am still checking daily for deployment and no show yet ooo.. Is there still hope? it has entered a week today now and with USSD code still saying my registration status is not selected...

Your assigned supervisor will screen your documents and tick the accepted or rejected box, if you are accepted, you are to reupload the acceptance letter to your NASIMS portal again, this is the process, please when going to your PPA please go with all the documents you uploaded on the Npower NASIMS portal.
Please note, if the Npower programme is not available in your local government area, then choose another program and exercise patience and keep checking your NASIMS portal for updates on your deployment status.

For Redeployment I guess we would need 2 copies of the letter, one would be endorsed and filled by original PPA but rejection checked while the other would be filled and endorsed by the new desired PPA and accepted checked?

I had tried using Nasims website severally but I it kept showing you have not yet been deployed that was why I opted for the code thing... At least I check nasims 20 times a day since Monday that news of deployment broke... If there is no more hope after successful Biometrics and even did it much more earlier when it started.. I don't know what to do again ooo (Daramola O your registratiion status is not selected from ussd code)

I successfully did the test scored 70 and got selected then successfully did biometrics but I have not yet been deployed when I used the *45665# code I got a message that registration status not selected.. I don't know what to do... All my friends that we did it together in Akure South LGA got deployed but me.. Is that the end of the road?

The index case is a military officer who was a returnee from India. He has been in isolation since he returned and has been monitored by the medical team of the Military and our state team throughout this period

Ondo State has recorded its index case of coronavirus (COVID-19), about five weeks after the first case of the disease was reported in Nigeria.

The governor of the state, Rotimi Akeredolu, announced this on Friday via his verified Twitter handle.

He revealed that the state government received the report from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) shortly before he made the announcement.

Governor Akeredolu noted that the infected case has since been placed under isolation and would be monitored.

He urged the residents of the state to stay calm, adding that the government has put necessary measures in place to identify all the contacts of the patient.

According to the governor, the government is working closely with the NCDC and the infected person is in a stable condition.

He stressed that the government was on top of the situation and urged residents to continue to stay safe and follow all the preventive measures against the disease.
The Commissioner for Information and Orientation in Ondo, Donald Ojogo, also confirmed this in a statement.

We thank God for His protection thus far. Ours has been a case of anxiety while we enjoyed a COVID-19 free State status.

Charismatic Roman Catholic Priest and Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Nigeria (Amen), Fr Ejike Mbaka, is at it again.

The Enugu cleric, who is known for his controversial prophecies, in his New Year message, said Senator Hope Uzodimma would be sworn in as governor of Imo State.

Mbaka had predicted President Muhammadu Buhari’s victory during the 2015 New Year Message, which he titled ‘From Goodluck to Badluck.’

Addressing thousands of members of his congregation, he said that the 2019 APC governorship candidate, Uzodinma, would dislodge the incumbent governor of the state, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He boasted that “no prophecy has ever been declared on this prayer ground without coming to pass”, while also advising those who may find the message unpalatable not to come after him.

He warned that such action would attract the wrath of the Holy Spirit upon such individuals.

He declared: “Many things are going to happen in Nigeria this 2020 that will shock countrymen and countrywomen; but all would be to God’s glory.

“In spite of all that would happen this 2020, there is hope. In Imo State, there is hope. Hope, hope, hope … hope in Imo State!

“Imo people have suffered (but) God is raising a new hope that would be an agent of salvation for them.

“He’s coming with a new flag to restore the dignity of that noble land. A new leadership that will break barriers and there would be joy in the land of Imo.
