Visa Alert. Went in for IW 8th March (Tuesday). Administrative processing till today 11th March (Friday). Issued for my wife and I. Last 2 visas was for childbirth. The turnaround is so impressive. Glory to God. 7 Likes

On the contrary Mobile/smartphones has greatly enhanced my son's learning. He watches educational stuffs on them. Aided a lot in the recitation and pronunciation of alpha-numerics, and more importantly engages him. There are pros and cons to everything. However, you have to realise the Nigeria of today is not easy as it was years ago when our parents raised us. Daddy's wages was probably enough to cater for the family. Now we all hustle, I have my business and my wife has hers. So there's hardly time to do some home-tutoring, apart from the basics of course. This change of work and hustle scenario has already impeded the parental learning our kids should have derived from us. Good enough there are loads of stuffs our kids can learn with smartphones. Just program it to only YouTube KIDS. And predownload the content you want your kids to see. After that disconnect from the internet. Such a way they won't be able to download unnecessary stuffs. On another hand, whilst our mates as kids in developed countries were playing with computer, we were learning how to label all the parts of cockroaches and mosquitoes. Now while our mates can play with micro chips and softwares and all other tech stuffs, we're still in the analogue life. Don't teach your kids the way your parents taught you. Good morning all, my daughter applied for a US visa and got it. Passport was delivered to DHL, but we were not able to get it on time, and now it has being returned back to the US embassy/consulate. Please how do we get the passport back? Is there a procedure, number, email, or what do we have to do? I have emailed the Abuja Consulate but i got a generic answer with non referring to this situation. Please help. |

Who caused the Niger delta avengers to begin bombing oil installations? Who demarketed the economy by calling us criminals? When GEJ engaged the stakeholders in Niger delta to ensure peace, who came in and started forming James bond... disengaged the local surveillance.... and now re-engaging them? Who brought about the prominence of Nnamdi Kanu? Which government has 5 different exchange rates for forex? Which government rushed to implement TSA without creating shock absorbers in the system. All to take glory the dullard rushed a lot of things. TSA that was meant to be introduced in a phased manner was suddenly implemented in full dose, creating shocks in the economy... that's the recession we're battling. Which government took 6 months to appoint Amaechi and Fashola as ministers? The castigated youwin has been reintroduced again under a different name? Are the militants which Buhari dared not being compensated again?. The local surveillance team for the pipelines, they've being brought back again. Tompolo has his contract back again. Subsidies are now being paid again. Foreign mercenaries are now fighting bokoharam again... a whole lot of things that was done by Jonathan is being redone again by Buhari... that's after his senses rebooted and he discovered that indeed Jonathan was doing it the right way. By the time we start looking at 'Cause and Effect' you'll see all the answers there. What it takes an educated man 1 week to see, an illiterate will see it in 2 years. Hello Family, I’ve being a silent follower of this thread for more than a year now, even before I got married. I have a compilation of successful and otherwise visa interviews. It will be nice to relate my experience earlier this morning at the embassy (Lagos). Went with my wife and the queue was long though, with a lot of denials here and there. Finally our turn.. VO- Morning, passports please Hands over passport VO- Why are you going to the US? Me- Vacation DW- To deliver our baby VO- Which doctor? DW- Doctor Esperati VO- Why did you choose there? DW- 2 of my friends have previously delivered there, and recommended it, also I researched and got some positive reviews. VO- (typing vigorously) … What is the budget? Me- Slightly above $12,000. But we estimated $15,000. I have a budget sheet VO- No, I do not need it………. Tell me about your company... “Caleb ……………company” Me- I am into the downstream petroleum industry, bla bla bla bla…….. VO- What challenges do you encounter in the business? Me- Some scarcity here and there, middle men, black market, difficulty in getting goods, etc. VO- (typing vigorously and for quite some time).. you know you can not take 15k dollars into the states, you have break it down or declare it. Me- Yes, I am aware, I’ve got some credit cards as well. VO- (after some moment of more vigorous typing) … congratulations, pick up your….. I nor hear the rest, I was already in cloud 9! No documents at all was requested. Not even a glance at the bank statements. It can only be God. My best wishes to those awaiting theirs. Just be genuine and be confident.
