Lemme spare you all the stories from start till date. God has been faithful.
I told God this year, I wasn't going to labour in vain or to sow where I wont reap.... I sowed all the seeds I had from the beginning, It looked like I was foolish. I made my plans and only involved the people concerned with the process.

Back to today, June 10, 2016. 6:30 Appointment. Window 3
I had all the necessary docs
I had all my fears too

The interview
VO: Good morning and how are you?
ME: Good morning, I'm fine thank you.

VO: What's you study plan?
ME: I'm going to pursue a Post-Graduate studies in Geological Engineering with a concentration in Geotechniques at the University of North Dakota.

VO: Who is paying for your trip?
ME: My Uncle

VO: What does he do?
ME: he is the MD of ####### and they are into ######

VO: You have your Bachelors?
ME: Yes.

VO: In what area?
ME: Geological Sciences.

VO: What's your plan after you graduate?
ME: I plan to come back to the company where I work now, in their Geotechniques department.

VO: typing .....
ME: praying..... FATHER FAVOUR ME TODAY

VO: I will be granting your visa ....(the rest I didn't hear) issues white paper.

I was out before I could open my eyes...I pinched myself just to be sure I wasn't dreaming.
In all of this, It was just GOD. I prepared for lots of questions and I got just little.

the excitement no be here oooo. when I got the visa this morning,
I suddenly developed headache, I started feeling cold, and my body was hot at the same time.
Overall I have not been able to sleep ooooo. I know I really need sleep but sleep never come oooo.. pray for me peeps.

My dear torahunlimited, you can go ahead and apply for undergraduate course in USA. I hope you would be able to explain what you have been doing since after high school, why you want to start it now and why the course choice. With that in mind. Google is your best friend (in aadeyi's voice)

EagleIsland, take a bus from lekki going to CMS/Bonny camp or Obalende (be sure the obalende bus is passing through Law School, Stop at Kofo Abayomi just before Bonny Camp, Walter Carrington is just the street to your right off Ozumba Mbadiwe. the address is 2 Walter Carrington Crescent Victoria Island. I'm sure you would see lots of guys on the entrance of that street to direct you. from the busstop , is about 5-8 minutes walk to the US embassy.

My honest advise to you now considering the age (even though is not a barrier , is just a number ), write GRE and get a good score, apply for MSc in biochemistry (hoping you get good funding for this program to cover the 'finances').
With the above you stand a good chance of getting student visa by God's grace. not forgetting your end goal, still be looking out for a good school that offer BSc Nursing (you can switch course, degree or school along) don't ask me how yet.

on the alternative, you can still apply to schools for BSc Nursing now. google is your best friend on this.
The question you asked about community school (sorry I have no response to that) but, I think you should start first before the switch.

I have been having this American dream for two years now, i tok the toefl exam lat year, aND lIke play lIke play, my toefl will expire by november 2017 but mehn finances have just been posing as an hindrance. I have few questions to ask please

1. I have a BSc in biochemistry from a nigerian uni, but I would like to go for BSc Nursing in America, hope age wouldn't be a barrier to going for a second bsc degree considering the fact that am 27years old

2. If I have the intentions of transferring from university to a community college probably after the first semester in d Uni, am I suppose to apply to the community college while still in nigeria or its when one arrives in yankee before you can apply to the community college?
