Scenes when we have to choose a temporary playoffs admin from the top 8 because the permanent admin didn't make the playoffs.

Communication is key and you were elevated to admin duties with all the attendant responsibilities and authority vested in the role concerning the Leagues.

We will go with the initial gameplay and setup of the h2h which is to have play offs at the end of GW35.
So practically, h2h end for some at gw35 and it applies for those who are in the relegation zone. Relegation is for 19 and 20 while first 2 in Carling Cup gets promoted.

Note: I am only creating the mini h2h league for fa Cup, carling cup will use the first 2 position for this season alone while we return to default next season

Yup, for playoffs to be activated, @ that last knockout option, you are supposed to set a knockout round for GW36-38 by picking 3 in the drop-down options.

Did you select three rounds of knockout when you were creating this season FA Cup?

We only started getting worried when we noticed matches run till GW38 unlike what we were used to.

The most important thing from the screenshot is that having scheduled matches till GW38 is not a cause for concern which is our main cause of worry, the league will kick into playoffs mode from the preset GW35 and the if activated clause comes into play.


What is the worst that could happen?
Worst case scenario is no play-off fixtures after GW35 and we will create the playoffs ourselves in the days leading up to before GW36.

Let's give the admin the benefit of the doubt and proceed with our strategies as originally planned since he said he didn't tamper with the usual settings.

If activated... Meaning that if it's NOT activated, it become a straight round robin till GW38.

But last season, abi na season before lats, there was a change we didn't know about till the play off started. Before we thought it's 1st vs 8th, 2nd vs 7th, 3rd vs 6th and 4th vs 5th.... But that season, the fixtures was random.

Probably this is a change that started this season since iamoyindamola said he didn't make any change from last season.

If we go down this route, does it mean that whatever happens in the remaining FA Cup fixtures from 36-38 is inconsequential and whoever ends up top there by GW38 permanently forfeit his claim to being called the Champion of the 2025/2025 FA Cup. We can't have two champions from a single league.

That is the most important part because this is a yearly competition and barring unforeseen circumstances, we are going to be playing for a long time as long as Premier league exists.
I don't want a situation whereby years down the road, someone like Emaprince will be disparaging my 2025/2026 FA Cup win either because I won outright without playoffs or I won it via playoffs from 6th position.

So fellow FA CUPers, what is it going to be?
Do we all agree to forfeit after GW35 on the main FA Cup table?

He simply create a mini league for top 8 from GW36.

Playoffs is the normal format for FA Cup right from time. We can't change this year. Mini league h2h will correct the early mistake.

If we all agree to leave this season FA Cup as it is without playoffs - - - - - Emaprince no get any chances of making top spot.


If on the other hand, we agree to create a separate playoffs league for this season - - - - - Emaprince still no get chances of making the playoffs.
