Big fat lie.
I know we are a patriotic people, but let us stop deceiving ourselves. There is quality numbers and quantity numbers. Nigeria is majorly quantity which makes it easier for foreign investors to take flight whenever the figures don't make sense.
It is easier for the European and Americans to leave because their business models run on quick entry and exit. The Chinese and the Indians however will remain because they understand the quantity market and besides, they are playing the long game.
Google Diageo and look at their numbers, then Google the value of your annual oil exports. We talk big in naija but in the grand scheme of things we are tinyyyyy.
Don't mind the ignoramuses. grin consolling themselves in denial.

Nigeria Breweries says Hi....indigenous producer of beer.

That's what happens when you refine fuel at N600 and sell it at N195 for years...domestic refining becomes unattractive, and importing becomes more attractive.
How many Naigerians buys from Naigerian breweries? grin and why worry about losing employments by Guinness? Naigerian breweries will employ those who would lose their jobs, Naigerian breweries will also produce enough for the Naigerian market i guess. grin therefor don't by any other beer. Would Naigerian breweries also produce Guinness? Which a large number of Naigerians consume. Inshort, people should only buy beer produced by Naigerian breweries, they shouldn't have the choice of consuming Guinness. cheesy

Exactly, who da hell does that in a bussiness? Sell below cost price? especially when the raw material are abundant at your backyard. grin it is ironically bizzare as i ve said previously.

Did you know that Qatar is an oil rich country? and the Qataris pays very cheap for petrol in Qatar. One wonders undecided how they managed to keep the price of petrol very low for their citizens.

Of course, they won't.
Nigeria is a big market for them.

They dare not leave, and still want to sell us the product like GSK did.
You can't take away your jobs, but still want to sell me your products.
If they leave and take away their jobs, you MUST still buy their products, otherwise produce your own.

There ar countries in Africa where Guinness do not have a factories or employs people but they still buy Guinness products they MUST buy it.

Africans has no choice they MUST buy foreign products. Because they are incapable of producing their own.

Naigeria has crude oil running through half of their lands but they still import petrol. cheesy how ironic and bizzare is that?

Naigeria is not in the position to tell Guinness how to run their company.

Did you know that many Naigerians do not even know that Guinness is a foreign company?

So many fools on here, they read news that dollar crashed and they are rejoicing.... grin grin after rejoicing on nairaland, these same fools MUST stillhave to buy petrol at the highest price in the world (even though they claim to be an oil rich country) these same fools MUST still buy expensive foodstuffs, pay high prices for other goods and commodities, including high transportation fares. grin

And when you try to educate them they d label you "obidients" grin the slogan Obidients is what gives them hopeless hope and helps them sleep at night with empty hungry stomachs in their tiny dark miserable rooms

Some of us who are "waillers" as they label (all they know how to do is labelling people) us are not wailling because the situation in the country affects us but because we want to see a working country where everyone would benefit not just the rich getting richer.

You watch, they will call me Obidients grin cheesy that is their only argument. While they suffer in hunger

Unfortunately, God will always allow Nigerians to choose the path they want to follow at every electioneering period. He won't come down from Heaven and force Nigerians to vote the right person.

Tinubu has brought so much shame and disappointment to Nigerians that even his supporters on Nairaland are suffering but trying to smile

How does it reduce the value of the money?
Because there would be so much money in circulations, scarce of currency or money increases the value of it.

It is like if there are so many bags of potatoes in the market the price of potatoes will fall or become very cheap, but if there are fewer or almost no bags of potatoes the price of it would be high.

I hope i made sense. cheesy

You are correct, but in this case it didn't crash or it may have crashed on TV screen but not at physical market, even if it did crash, Naigerians would still sell at high price, nothing ever crashes in price in Naigeria, not prices of commodities in Naigeria rather it goes up high.
