How many businesses have you done before ? What is N300k. Is that for only shop rent ?

A guy I know rented a shop and opened a clothing store in a busy place, beautified the interior, even spent money on cement, sand and stone to enhance the exterior.

After 4 months and selling nothing, he closed the shop.

I personally have also done clothes biz too before, using my strategy of minimum investment was able to break even but no profit. This is just one out of several businesses i have engaged into.

Very few businesses are profitable in this country and you must be very versatile to locate one.

After lockdown, prices of everything skyrocketed, you hardly be able to purchase goods if you travel to market.

But really, i believe it has to do with the millennium foods compared to late 90s. Start of the millennium in Naija comes with more fast foods joints like Mr.Biggs, Tantilizers, and the likes, then wide spread of home consumption of foods like noodles, butter, conbeef, soda drinks and the likes. All these foods are very rich in calories, hence, millennium children tend to grow bigger.
