No agent has control over visa approval or when it will be approved. Telling you within 6 weeks is out of place. It doesn't mean it will not be approved within the timeframe but letting you know that he is giving you a timeline over what he doesn't have control.

Thanks for replying, the whole process is handled by my agent. And that was what he told me, that it should be out within 6 weeks, which has elapsed
