Aren’t fines in such cases based on the company’s turnover, though?

When it comes to smaller payment systems, you’re probably right. Companies like PayPal, I think, are large enough not to care.

Interestingly, while crypto exchanges do work with cards, most wallets don’t, even if they support fiat - they seem to prefer e-money.

Well, it is naive to expect huge bonuses anyway. Moreover, if Quppy offered something like 5% - I’d say that something is wrong and they are desperate.

It is. But if you deposit 15 thousand euros, do you really care about the extra 15?
Nairaland / General / Re: QUPPY - Multicurrency Cross-platform Cryptowallet (quppy.com) by Callsuffer: 12:53pm On Nov 01, 2023
Well, it is always better to know that people have to put some effort into getting to you - makes you feel better.
Nairaland / General / Re: QUPPY - Multicurrency Cross-platform Cryptowallet (quppy.com) by Callsuffer: 6:49am On Sep 30, 2023
Quppy can limit themselves to crypto loans only. But I doubt that regulators would care. Once you starte working with fiat - you’re hooked and have to follow regulations in all aspects of your banking business.
Nairaland / General / Re: QUPPY - Multicurrency Cross-platform Cryptowallet (quppy.com) by Callsuffer: 6:02pm On Aug 24, 2023
Not really. You can’t take a loan from quppy. Yet. However, you can use it for all “named official payments” - from salary to paying bills and so on.
Nairaland / General / Re: QUPPY - Multicurrency Cross-platform Cryptowallet (quppy.com) by Callsuffer: 1:26pm On May 16, 2023
The don’t need to - basically, quppy has to comply with their requirements in order to simply works. And there are not a lot of opportunities to “get rich quick” in contrast to exchanges.

Yeah. quppy and similar platforms are actually beneficial to regulators - they try to make crypto more civilized.

Not overpromising is much better for sustainability - disappointed people that leave the app are much worse than somewhat slower growth rate.
Nairaland / General / Re: QUPPY - Multicurrency Cross-platform Cryptowallet (quppy.com) by Callsuffer: 8:35am On Nov 26, 2022
On the one hand, that’s a fair and good approach. On the other - probably it slows down the growth of the userbase.

Yep. But people will find a new cool thing and turn it into an overhyped bubble, forgetting about what actually made it great.
Nairaland / General / Re: QUPPY - Multicurrency Cross-platform Cryptowallet (quppy.com) by Callsuffer: 11:48am On Aug 07, 2022
But the overall grim situation on the crypto market still hampers the industry quite a lot, so I'm not so optimistic about the future.
Nairaland / General / Re: QUPPY - Multicurrency Cross-platform Cryptowallet (quppy.com) by Callsuffer: 3:47pm On Jun 05, 2022
Agree. It is enough hassle to have to deal with regulators. “Self-censorship” is not a good idea.

Well, overzealous regulators due to politics are a very real problem, but so far Quppy has been quite good at avoiding problems..

Exactly. Besides, if something goes wrong - there will be much less backlash.
and yet they made cards very easy to use and convenient, so they still put a lot of effort, even in “not promised” features.
Nairaland / General / Re: QUPPY - Multicurrency Cross-platform Cryptowallet (quppy.com) by Callsuffer: 10:25am On Jan 08, 2022
Yeah, and we can safely say that the quppy team does not waste time. They didn’t even promise cards yet, but they delivered.

Who cares about stickers? They are a waste of time, money and resources to develop.
I can’t agree with you. At the very least, such sticker packages are a great marketing tool.

There are various parasite remedies at the veterinary pharmacy. Before going out in parasite season, just spray your dog and you will be fine.

I'm really looking forward to the release of the new Ps5, it's just awesome. I can't say that I'm a fan of games, but I don't mind spending a couple of hours of free time playing games and distracting myself. So I will definitely buy myself.

Dubai is a luxurious and rich country, everyone dreams of getting into the center of millionaires, but one can not dream of a permanent residence. Real estate is very expensive there, and you will never be granted citizenship there.

So you get an option to use Quppy with limited functionality, but ignoring KYC. That’s nice. Actually, there is a lot to think about.
