PLEASE PERMIT MY STUPID QUESTION

I am at the point of submitting my Document and i am pushing through as Self Sponsor and i have also made payment for my 1st Semester. I am just a little worried that my 3.5M Mutual Funds may be suffice or fly.

Can i use an Uncle/Colleague who is a Family Friend as my Sponsor. He is a Senior Manager in a Bank. Will it fly? Even if he provides Letter of Sponsorship, Statement of Accounts and Investment. PLEASE HELP. No insults please
To the best of my knowledge, a family friend is a third party sponsor, and that would require him to make some sort of commitment by either paying for part of your tuition or transferring some funds to your account and showing proof that he has done so. Gurus in the house please help out.

my lecturers are not gadget friendly. that is the issue.
then convince them, you can fill it with them that way you'll assist them since you are gadget friendly. I did mine with my lecturer and my boss. That's the only way it will be accepted, to be the best of my knowledge tho.

Hello Ralfudoh,

This is the type of VO applicants should pray not to handle their applications. Its true that once an applicant is found inadmissible for criminal or certain health reasons, especially if issued a ban of 5yrs or sentenced to 5yrs in jail, such applicant is "likely" to still get a favourable decision though might be almost impossible.

If the applicant has been found inadmissible to enter Canada and has serve less or more than the 5yrs of been convicted, the applicant can apply for a Temporary Residence Permit (TRP) which is completely different from Temporary Residence Visa (TRV) to facilate entry into Canada for a short duration for time as a foreign student, foreign worker , or visitor with very important reasons to visit/come. However, such applicant won't be eligible to apply for a permanent residency.

A criminal inadmissibility can be in severe forms other that serving a jail term or been convicted for a crime. The criminal inadmissibility can be removed or waived either by applying for a Criminal Rehabilitation Process or Deemed Rehabilitation, but can only be eligible after serving less or more of 5yrs punishment. Though, the process isn't also a guarantee just like every other visa categories.

My point is that, if convicts can still be listened to with a bailout to enter Canada, then why not an applicant who also got a 5yrs ban for another type of criminality inadmissibility. But in all, prospective applicants should desist from submitting fraudulent documents to avoid been admissible.

This is just to point out that the claimed VO is the unconsiderable and harsh type.
Please I just clicked the validation button on my application to enter Canada form more that once and noticed upto six barcodes have been generated all in one page. Should I submit like that or do I fill a new one?

I am trying to get a simpler way of sending my recommendation letter actually. The recommendation letters i have are hard copies and i don't know how to send it to MUN since they are saying that my lecturers need to recommend me from their own email address. Should i scan the letters and send to MUN grad email address?
First of all, have you gotten the recommendation form? With that you can send it to your lecturers. It easy to fill, let them recommend you with that and let them send it directly to the email address on the form.

Good morning,

I am trying to apply for M.Eng Mechanical Engineering at MUN. However, when i clicked on the portal, i found 2019-2020. I am a bit confused if this applies to me. I want to apply for Fall 2020.

Should i go ahead and pay for 2019-2020? or should i wait until they open the portal for 2020-2021?

please help because i want to apply through an agent and she is telling me to pay for 2019-2020. I am a bit confused right now.
I think you should wait for the portal for 2020-2021 in my opinion. Why are you using an agent? the application process sent difficult as long as you ha e all your documents and meet their requirements.

If you're looking to include your siblings information since you single, the IMM form 5645e is the right form. Don't fill in any information that is not specified on the IMM 1294e form and that isn't applicable to you.

All the best!

Hello Campu,

I, for one don't believe there is a standard way in filling the section of financial availability, which has been proven amongst past successfully applicant.

However, the first column of Tuition should be for 1yr., the rest column can be filled based on the sufficiency of the financial availability and budget, as reflected on the example below:

Tuition: $14,000
Room and Board: $10,000
Other: $3,000 (or $4,000)
Available Funds: $27,000

To your second question, only fill the sections that are applicable to you. If the column isn't enough to contain your details, you can print out another form.

Good luck!
thanks for your response, I'll just get another form to meet up and fill in the details of my siblings in that section B

Good morning guys. Please while filling the imm1249e app form, the part for tuition and 'Room and Board', do I fill in the cost of my tuition and 'room and board' for just one year or for the entire duration of my studies. Secondly how is the room and board calculated? Lastly, on the family information form, am I to fill the details of my siblings in the section B part for children, since I'm single and also I have seven siblings, and there are just 4 columns there, how do I go a out that? Please I'd really appreciate your response gurus.

I posted this for someone out there who fills all hope is lost. Delay does not mean denial. Believe totally in God no matter what. Don't give up. Also try to have contingency plans to avoid disappointments. Don't place all your eggs in one basket.

I started this journey in 2017, paused for 2 years. And resumed again this year.

Don't expect anybody to give you loads of information. Everything you need is on this thread.

I read this thread from Part 13 - Part 16 back to back before I began my application. Also, I didn't ask any questions until about 4 days to when I was about to submit my application.

Special kudos goes to Frankrobbn1. Truely you are a God sent to this thread. Anyone who comes across you can attest to that. May God bless you bountifully!!!

I thought my application was tight until he vetted it. I was confounded and shocked when he said I was missing a plethora of things in my application. Frank literally opened my eyes that day. So I made the corrections he pointed out but I didn't get any confirmation from him whether my corrections were okay and I needed to submit my application.

So I PRAYED, PRAYED, PRAYED and submitted with faith in God

And now I can say my application was a success.

All thanks to all the gurus in the house who has inspired me and continue to render selfless service to people in this thread. Furthermore, my appreciation goes to the originator of this thread. It's indeed a blessing to have such thread like this.

Not to mention Big name like Austacus. You have done alot for me. God bless you bro!

I wish you all success in your applications.

Ayoola03:
Student Visa is the stamp.on your passport, study permit will be issued at the POE which serves as a legal document that allows you to study and work part time while TRV is still the same as student visa. All still falls under same category/meaning.

Your spouse will be issued a work permit which will be the same expiry date as your study visa, your spouse can work full time with her permit.

I came in with my spouse too, he landed his dream job 1 month after his arrival, which is a full time position (with work permit status) and we got our PR few months after I started schooling, which reduced my tuition fee from $8000 per term to $2000, he was the PA tho' so your status or your wife's status doesnt stop your from applying for your PR infact it's a plus for you because in most cases, the PR processing time is always faster for people who are already in canada, our application took just 2months. Start your processing immediately you land when you already know you meet the requirements because:

1. Election is coming up in October and there is high probability that the immigration policies might change/become strict which may affect so many people especially those that dont have a Canadian degree and again, the signs can be clearly seen from the recent CRS scores which refused to come down. (We saw this coming that was why we started immediately we landed, when life was still good, we got an ITA with a CRS score of 444).

2. You avoid paying too much for the health insurance coverage for your wife and children unless your wife is able to get a very good job.

3. It will also increase your wife's chances of getting a permanent job easily with a PR status.

If you are planning to come with your family, you will need to increase your SOA based on LICO ( low income cut off) you can check the cic website for further details which also depends on the size of your family. Try to increase the balance to avoid stories that touch.

Other gurus in the house will talk on the areas I left untouched kiss all the best!
for a single applicant coming for masters and is self sponsored, do you think an SOA with N8million is convincing enough for the VO?

Good day everyone. I started following this thread recently and I'm very impressed with the selfless act of everyone trying to help each other. Please I have a question, I work as an engineer with company but a close family friend wants to sponsor me with his company, with provisions for back dated employment letter and other necessary documents required. My concern is that in my bank statement, will the funds coming from my current employer raise concerns to the Visa officer being that it's a different name from the company sponsoring me? Will they be concerned that the company sponsoring me hasn't credited my account at any point before or are will they just be focused on the inflow and outflow? I hope my question is clear enough.
please can other gurus in the house give their suggestions

parksg:
since he's sponsoring you, he could start by transferring some funds to your personal account from the company's account.

You will have to convince the vo why the company is sponsoring you and what they stand to gain.
convincing them isn't a problem, what I want to find out is how much they pay attention to details like if the company has been paying me monthly salary from time of employment. If it a company sponsoring me, I thought they don't have to make any commitment asides the sponsorship letter and other company document a d financial strength.
