Indian Institute of Science is offering fellowships for international applicants to pursue a PhD. or M.Sc.(Engg) degree programme at IISc. Only those who are not citizens of India and are not persons of Indian origin are eligible to apply for admission through this mechanism. Selected students will be offered hostel accommodation and a fellowship by IISc. The fellowship amount will be equal to that offered to Indian students. This fellowship is usually adequate to pay tuition fees, hostel and mess fees and cover your living expenses. The application deadline is January 31, 2015.

as a student counselor i meet with this kind of cases almost every time and what i do tell my students is that the fact that you graduated with a third class should not be use to define the level of your existence. you are not inferior to the other guy with 1st class, just don't hold yourself back in achieving your dreams, go for it.
hard truth you may have had a 3rd class in school but make up your mind you wouldn't make a 3rd class in life because you may never have a second chance to write the wrong.
so go back to school if you wish to or just move on confidently.

Sincerely the only chance of you getting a scholarship is either you apply for scholarship from either your state scholarship board or one of the scholarship awarding Bodies eg commonwealth etc, or if you have a first class then i can get you an institution that is tuition free.

i saw this thread and i couldn't just ignore it. £1400 may get you admission into Cyprus but definitely know for sure it will get you admitted into Georgia which for me is better and preferable that's considering your budget But for the UK its more expensive but the learning experience is quite fulfilling not to be compared with Cyprus or Georgia.
