Nostradamus:
bros forget blindness or whatever.no man can alter his DNA,features, genes to become that of an animal(i.e, no one can transform to an animal)i know this is hard for You to believe but it's the truth. The only thing that some skilled sorcerers can do is the transfer of astral consciousness,in which they sort of possess an animal/another person and influence it to do their bidding.that's why some Yorubas believe some evil people can send snakes or other reptiles or even bees to a perceive enemy to attack the enemy. Changing to an animal is totally impossible, anyone that tells you he can do that is only been economical with the truth. But transferring a part of his consciousness to another creature, yes,it's possible.some esoteric groups(which I will never mention here)their members are skilled at this.
What makes me skeptical of all this juju stuff is SPORTS.
Notice how in sports people always win by 1 goal or 5 seconds. If juju were really as Nigerians believe then that shouldn’t be the case. People will be winning 30-0 or by 10 minutes - eg, with juju u can make a goalpost so no ball can enter it. Also countries like Nigeria will be winning everything!

There's already an Anti-Cult arm of the police everywhere.

Starting a "new" cult is exactly how an Evil cult starts on it's own.

Read about the history of Pyrates, Buccaneers, you'll understand.
U have a point. But if u infuse it with prayers and Christian principles, though militant, it can’t become another cult

Yeah all those western frats are nice. If only there is a way they could be introduced in our tertiary school system because most kids in school have this urge and need to affiliate or belong to a vool group with all the cool handshakes and all; ordinary handshake have enticed alot of misguided people to be cultists. So if school can have official frats/ social groups etc with their presidpresidents and all; but unfortunately as usual slowpokes will bastardised it and turn it something else

In the early stages of fraternity in Nigeria; members looked out for themeslves. They had a common goal.
They ensure that their members attended library, work hard to get good grades, dressed neatly in public and they all had fun. But along the line some stupid and misguided elements corrupt the game and that was how the virus spread till this day. Most frats are sometimes fun when you graduate. But still touts have found a way to hijack the movement and bastardised everything; its now a front for armed robbers, drug dealers and all manner of rubbish.

All in all cultism is not worth it. They still kill demselves abroad in places like ghana, south africa, malaysia and sometimes italy and other places even though they are matred and should have realized and outgrow that shit
Bottom line is, what we have now in Nigeria doesn’t have even remote resemblance to campus frats of the West. What we have are street gangs, pure and simple. Anyone meaning to do something with his life should keep far away from them.

You are damn right, all this groups we call cult are actually gangs ,and members we call cultist too is wrong, they are gangstars, forget the blood initiation ,the crips and bloods and mafia gangs also go through the same process to become members...
Of course they are gangs not cults at all. It is a total Naija misnomer. BTW the Mafia not only use blood, they completely burn the picture of a saint on your bare hands

The main sickening thing about Nigeria is that these gangs are in the citadel of learning while others are on the streets.
They are now also on the streets in Naija, they are all over. I think the originators meant to imitate the university fraternity system in the West, which are basically campus social clubs. Instead what they ended up creating are full-blown gangs

EVERYTHING POINTS TO WHAT?
PLEASE LIST THE EVERYTHING.
For one thing, it is obvious there are laws that govern the universe. Well, laws don’t evolve out of chaos. Example, if no one wrote a constitution of Nigeria then something that’s legal in Onitsha today will be illegal in Lagos tomorrow.
Also the universe would have had no point in time it started, it would have had no start. Also it would have started all over the place and not from a single point

My friend,u are becoming annoying.I wasn't seeking for ur Opinion but that of the OP.
Funny enough,U seem like one of those peeps forming prof but without a tangible Degree to Show for.
Wonder how u can easily access the net yet cant seem to differentiate btwn the two.
FYI, Some group of friends can form a Gang to rape, rob, fight etc that doesn't make them Cultists. That u Form a Gang with the Igbo smokers in ur neighborhood with the motive of constituting Nuisance and wreck havoc doesn't make ur mere Smokers Gang a Cult.
Gangsters can only graduate into Cultists when they have a common Motto,Creed,Blood Initiations and Oath of Secrecy.
A Gang doesn't necessarily need that, they just flow with the motive and motion.
Pls don't come and disturb me again unless u are thanking me for educating u here free of Charge.
Abject ignorance and lack of exposure. My friend other countries also have these groups, ONLY IN NIGERIA ARE THEY CALLED CULTS. Italy has La Cosa Nostra, South America has MS-13, etc. They are called gangs everywhere except in Nigeria. See below.

kelechiodo:
It was never my intention to comment on this thread even though I visit it on daily basis but some unfair comments here against the OP have eventually forced me to comment.

Op you are really doing a wonderful job in this expository. I graduated in 2005 and can relate with some of what you exposed here even though I wasn’t a cult member all throughout my stay in university.

Those that accused OP of glorifying are just unfair. OP has been consistent that no cult is stronger than the other and cannot protect anybody. Some other comments are of the opinion that what OP has said is well known to everybody. This is a big lie. Some of my friends that joined cultism in school only saw the entertainment part of it but never the ugly side as exposed by OP. One joined because he wanted to always attend parties without hindrance or molestation. Another joined in order to continue to date his girl. Another joined in order not to be alienated from his drinking peers. But all regretted ever joining.

The severity of the initiation which lasted for a whole night was made known to me by the OP for the first time in this thread.

Members at risk:
Another eye opening is the fact the every cult member is at risk during HIT. The notion has always been that it was the person the pulled the trigger in previous HIT that is always the target. A friend of mine who renounced always said so but I wonder why he leaves schools for weeks at times.

On settlement with cash:
Another interesting thing OP emphasised that I wasn’t aware of is that HIT is settled with cash. This is one of the greatest lie by cult members who always insist that the fear of reprisal attack from their group members protect them. For the first time I realised that cash is used to pay off dead ones. Who benefits from this cash, maybe the cult head or chairman and definitely not the deceased family. How much is involved? Even though OP has not stated that but it cannot be above N100,000. So this amount is what a cult member insured his life with.

On JUJU:
On this OP is not lying. Almost all cult members parade one juju or the other. These different jujus serve one purpose or the other. For their effectiveness, I don’t know. But one thing I know is that cult members are not morons or imbeciles. They are people with thinking faculty, if the charms are not known to have worked, it wouldn’t have been so rampart with them. But like all evil supernatural stuffs, they not only have their expiry date but also dos and donts, fake ones and stronger ones. One in my school then always boasts that whoever that wants to kill him must first visit india. This is an indication that whereas he believes in the efficacy of his charm, he also believe that stronger ones exist. Those that questioned the efficacy of juju and insisted that Britain wouldn’t have conquered Nigeria if it works. Well like Igbo people says “Ihe a muru amu ka ihe agwuru agwo”. Check me out in religion section if you want to go further on this.

Lastly:
OP, someone who is still a member said early in this tread, that if had read this thread before going to university that he would have joined. That is the best appreciation you can get in this thread and the greatest motivation you can get to continue with this thread.
Thanks for taking the time. BTW you left out the word “not” towards the end.
OP posted the photo below. No one trying to glorify cults would post such a photo. See how pathetic they look, like wet dogs. Like people who realized they made the greatest mistake of their lives
